  • 3 monitors on XPS 8700 with AMD Radeon HD 270 R9

    Hello world

Just a quick question. Can I conduct 3 monitors to a XPS 8700 with the AMD Radeon HD R9 270 card?

I read somewhere that it supports Eyefinity, and in the marketing of the images I see 3 ports on the video card. an hdmi and a DVI and a VGA. Eyefinity normally uses an active displayport adapter. You don't know everything just not if I'll be able to use all 3 ports to control monitors. Or maybe use 2 ports from the dedicated card and the onboard port.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I've never tested, but in theory, it should work.

Your monitor has any manual controls for the centering of the screen?
There may be buttons or buttons just below the exposure correction.

Depending on your video driver... you may have a control panel that
allows you to adjust the display settings. For example... NVIDIA has this
option... just go to... Control Panel and see if you have the Nvidia control

  • Monitor shows a black screen and "no sigal.

My compaq pressario turned slowly, so used fxdisk?, but who is stuck on 74% for more than 1 hour manually off computer. but when that I start now I get a black screen and the message "no signal."

I tried clicking on F8 nothing helps. any help to get my computer working again will be greatly appreciated.

the main problem is the signal of monitor at the moment.   without a method to view the data on the screen there is little we can do.

so the first initiative is: namely a signal.

first of all, double check your wires between the monitor and the computer and make sure they are securely attached and that they are not frayed or folded.   If you have a video card on the motherboard, then disconnect the monitor to it and connect it directly to the motherboard.

Secondly, after pressing the power button computers on the State on, try to access the bios of the computer.   wait about 3 seconds after you press the button and hold down the DELETE key, or press f10 to open the bios screen.

If bios opens then it looks like you have a video signal from the motherboard.  You can then exit without saving the changes.

But if you can not access the bios, then it's a problem.   Perhaps, there is a problem with the motherboard.

so check your computer manual or online manual your computer to verify that you have taken the right steps in trying to open up the bios screen.

second initiative: If the video signal is finally resolved, the next step will be to start with a xp installation cd.    This will bypass the faulty files on the hard drive system and allow you to run some commands in order to fix it.

  • How to connect the cables to an AMD Radeon HD 7450 video card for two monitors individual work?

I have a HP Pavilion p6-2360eo with the video card Radeon 7450 connected to a monitor of 23xi Pavilion.

Now, I want to add a monitor of 23xi more, but I do not understand how to connect the cables to the video card to get two logical screen (different views on each monitor)

Supposedly this monitor can connect to the video card, you have the HDMI connection.  Assuming that the first monitor is connected via DVI, then try a HDMI cable to the second.  I got this from the description of the video card on THIS page.

Support up to two displays at the same time in these configurations: DVI, HDMI and VGA + HDMI (using the included adapter cable)

It started when I tried to use the nvidia card with Solaris 11.1.  He throws a thermal cut-out in about 10 minutes in a chest cold or hot.

So I restarted to Windows 7 and found a program of monitoring temperature CPU and a GPU temperature monitoring program.

The temperature of the CPU never changes, but if I do something that requires 3D graphics, then, the temperature begins to the North and never goes back down.  In a few minutes it will get to the point where you can either close the browser displaying a rendered 3D object or the unit will turn off.

What's the best way to handle this.  I have seen all update the BIOS, I to the latest version of 21 or using various blocks or shims to replace the fan in a dual channel instead of single channel.  No replacement should not be carried out under warranty?

    Thanks in advance,

Repair under warranty out and replaced the motherboard and the fan.  They had to replace the fan twice for the first time, she didn't have the thermal pad for the GPU.  The other and it is now a cool laptop.

Hello. My computer is a HP Pavilion Desktop 550 - A17C with AMD Radeon R5 (integrated) graphics card. Can he take charge of two monitors? I did everything I can think of, including searching the Internet for a number of hours for solutions. For the life of me I can't get the computer to detect the second monitor, when I have two connected monitors.

I connect the main monitor with a VGA cable and the second with a DVI cable. The computer only has a VGA connector and a DVI connector. There is no HDMI port (serioulsly and I bought this computer as three months previously, as a refurb...) (Lol).

What I want to do, is extend the display. My hardware is unable to conduct two screens? A USB video adapter solve the problem?

  • XPS8900 with NVIDIA GTX 745 to Dell U2515H monitor

    Hello

    just a question:

I want to buy a DELL XPS 8900. I already have a DELL U2515H screen (I never want to Miss ;-).

My real office includes a graphics card with display port: it works very well.

The GEFORCE NVIDIA GTX 745, which is included in the XPS8900 is not a DP.

How to connect the screen to the XPS 8900 to run the display in Native Mode at 2560 x 1600 pix and 60 Hz (WQXGA)?

    Thanx for each tip!

Hey there, your current monitor has an hdmi connection and the 745 GTX also has hdmi.

  • Dell XPS 8500 with 1 GB AMD Radeon HD 7570 - how to connect two monitors or?

Hi, I got my Dell XPS 8500 today with the 1 GB AMD Radeon HD 7570.

Before buying the office, I read online that the AMD Radeon HD 7570 supports Eyefinity.   Eyefinity is supposed to be capable of supporting 4 monitors using the HD 7570 map by the description here: http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/graphics/7000/7570/Pages/radeon-7570.aspx#2

When you look at the photos of the Dell XPS 8500 online I thought that Eyefinity support was to use a display in addition to the DVI port Port.   Specifically, I thought that a monitor has been supported by DVI monitors while 4 thru two supported using an active connection to the view port using a product like the DisplayPort Accell UltraAV K087B-005 / 3 x multi-monitor DVI - D single-link adapter.

To my surprise the graphics card came with an HDMI port, not a display port and I believe that HDMI port is a connection from one to the other, and not one of many display connection.   Maybe someone can correct me if I am wrong on this point.   But if I'm not wrong then, this would imply that, at most, the Dell XPS 8500 with the AMD Radeon HD card 7570 can support up to only 2 monitors (one DVI port) and the other HDMI port instead of 4 monitors as described on the above link.

Others would agree with this statement?

Note that the Dell XPS 8500 also has a VGA connector on it but I tested it using a monitor on VGA and a monitor on the DVI connection and the computer that reported as an invalid monitor config.   Probably because the VGA and DVI connections are originally the same video display as connect two monitors to display even has no logical sense.

I have not tested the HDMI port for the second monitor again mainly because I don't have a spare HDMI cable on site at the present time.   I'll probably buy one tomorrow unless I see the comments of my post, specifying that a second monitor can be moved through the HDMI port on the AMD Radeon HD 7570 map...   I'd be surprised if that were the case (1 monitor system would be quite restrictive), but it is difficult to say with certainty, because the VGA and DVI connections at the same time have been marked by the computer as an invalid configuration...

Any thoughts on the different ways to configure multiple monitors with the XPS 8500 and the 1 GB AMD Radeon HD 7500 is appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Doug

If the card is not a display port is not an eyefinity card and cannot stand 3 monitors... it will be 2 monitors, no problem... I couldn't find anywhere on the site of Dell, where he says that the card was eyefinity... If you want 3 assumption of monitors you can buy a video card that supports.

  • No Signal message when the monitor is connected to the graphics card.

Thus, after posting this problem on different forums, I was told that my power (300w) was too low for my Radeon HD 7570 I tried to install. After you install a 585w power supply, the problem is still happening.

    Model: HP Pavilion h8 - 1240 t

    OS: Windows 7 64-bit

Error: Monitor says "no signal" when connected in the PCI slot where is the graphics card.

Changes: this always happened, did not get a single card to run this stupid computer!

The DVI cable is completely plugged the monitor into the PCI slot and the graphics card is fully in. The fans on the graphics cards spin but it is not detected at all. It does not appear in Device Manager.

    I7-2600 3.4GHz

No. I went to Dell and downloaded THE drivers that ACTUALLY work. Computer restarted and everything works fine.

  • Dell PowerEdge T110 II add on the video graphics card that works

    The system configuration:
    Dell PowerEdge T110 II
    BIOS 2.8.0
    RAM 2x8GB

For many reasons (for example feeding bus PCI), it is difficult to install a Dell PowerEdge T110 II graphics card.  The ATI Radeon HD 5450 is a good choice for the Dell PowerEdge T110 II because if its (approximately 10W) low energy consumption.

After trying several HD 5450 (listed below), a graphics card that works is a "VisionTek Radeon HD 5450 - graphics card - Radeon HD 5450 - 2 GB memory DDR3 - PCI Express 2.1 x 16'.

Edit: Thanks to paikat for the following references, (see his assignment for the links, where to buy)...
    VisionTek manufacturer: 900356
    Reference Dell: A6173020

This card works when the monitor is connected to the VGA/D-SUB/DB15 connector. I wasn't looking to connect to HDMI or DVI connectors.

After you install this graphics card, passed the BIOS Setup:
Integrated Devices > integrated video controller: enabled

    by saying:
Integrated Devices > integrated video controller: Standard

and allowed to move from "Standard" to "Distributed" so it now says:
Integrated Devices > integrated video controller: distributed

Note: Install the card with the monitor connected to the integrated video port / edge, change the BIOS to Distributed settings, restart the computer and then connect the monitor to the Discrete / distributed / video port to Add on.

I have read this thread and seen the suggestion of VisionTek, it also works with the card mother E3-1230V2?

My guess is the Dell PowerEdge T110 II uses the same motherboard for various configurations of CPU, but this is only a guess.

    SR2002
Also, are there better options eventually with the support of 12 DDR5 and directx?

None that I know, but I've only tried a few cards. Please let us know if you find cards better than the VisionTek 900356

    SR2002
I saw a thread suggesting ASUS GTX650-E-2GD5, someone at - he of the inputs on this card?

I tried a GeForce GT 610 2 GB and it did not work.  Check the use of the GTX650-E-2GD5 (DPT) power and make sure that it is less than 25 watts (see below)

    Quick notes:

    1. the location of PCIe x 16 is actually a "full-size x 8 slot" (also known as an x 16 slot / x 8) and the video card needs to work in this type of accommodation.

    2. video card power (TDP) is a limiting factor. Technical guide Dell says "the system supports a maximum power of 25 W for all four cards PCIe.»  and said Dell owner's manual "ATTENTION: to ensure correct cooling, not more than two cards of four extension may have more than 15 W power consumption (maximum 25 W each), not to mention the integrated storage controller card."

3 install the card with the monitor connected to the integrated video port / edge, change the built-in BIOS devices > on-board video controller 'Activated' / 'Standard' to 'Distributed', restart the computer and then connect the monitor to the Discrete / distributed / video port to Add on.

my laptop is brand new. 1 week and I cannot get my Radeon 8730 M graphic card work. laptop model is Dell Inspiron 3521.   I tried to install the original driver from the dell support page. I tried with the pilots of the AMDs website. I have installed and uninstalled the drivers at least 10 times.   When I run the catalist of amd installation configuration shows that all the drivers and the software is correctly installed and up-to-date, but Device Manager shows something else.  also, I have absolutely no option available in the catalyst software.  my windows system note (index) is 1.0 due to the graphic performance.   any ideas?

    return with good news.

I formatted the partition on the witch my windows was installed. re-installed windows and all the drivers. I started with the AMD driver but I was disappointed. It still did not work. then I thought, maybe there some co-drivers with some chipset drivers, so I downloaded and installed all the drivers. including the Intel HD 4000 driver. I think it was one that has not been installed correctly and the Radeon card because of the witch did not work.   so if anyone else has this problem, don't forget to uninstall the driver amd and intel driver hd 4000 and then install again, it should solve the problem.
