  Hello, I use Photoshop CS6 often for digital painting. Gradually in the course of the last year and a half since I bought all of the creative suite, I met more small problems. The most obvious is the loss of some hot keys - mainly the keys to support commands.

  The keys to support stops responding after only a few seconds of painting. But I can't make them work again if I mount my cursor and click on an empty space on the toolbar. However, immediately as I still paint on the canvas they date back to be non-responsive.

  Really, it disrupts my workflow and is incredibly frustrating. I run on a Mac, now with Didier (the problem before the software update) and a Wacom Intuos 5 environment.

  My friend works on Photoshop CS6, with 2 monitors and a Wacom tablet. Keyboard shortcuts do not work for one of its tools, brush sizes etc... It must manually, click on each individual tool and resize brushes, makes his workflow much slower. The keyboard works with other programs and the Wacom tablet works fine.

  For example, when making a mask and using the Brush tool, it can select B for the Brush tool. Then, as she is brushing, she cannot change the size of the brush, opacity of the brush or press the backslash on the keyboard to see the mask. She must manually, go to the toolbar and click the desired option.

  The following is a general list of things, try when the question is not in a specific file, and when it is not caused by problems with opening a file from external media. You tried/made some of them already; 1 and 2) are easier for temporary strangenesses and 3) and 4) specifically preferences might be corrupt); ((5) is a list in itself and 6) is the last resort.

  If possible / there is, you must record a current work first, of course.

  (1) close Illy and open again.

  (2) restart the computer (you can make up at least 5 times);

  (3) close Illy and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (easy, but irreversible);

  4) move the folder (follow the link with this name) with closed Illy (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible), for CS3 - CC you can find the file here:

  It seems that the resolution of the screen control panel dialog box some accessed via the ALT keyboard shortcuts do not seem to.

  The Alt-combinations that do not seem to work are listed:

  Alt + s   (' Display: "menu drop-down)

  Alt + O   ("' Orientation:" menu drop-down ")

  ALT + M   ("" Several screens: "menu drop-down")

  The following Reproduction method was tested using two and three monitors attached with a multi-display compatible video card (see further below for a test instance), although the problem can still occur with a single, or more than three monitors.

  MODE OF REPRODUCTION:

  (1) open the control panel.

  (2) select 'View' then 'Adjust the resolution' (or simply select "Adjust screen resolution" If a category view).

  (3) once the screen resolution dialog, hold down the ALT (left) (notice the different points on the page which reveal a letter underlined in their chain to suggest this is accessible by pressing the corresponding key on the keyboard).

  "(4) with [ALT] key again press the [R] key on the keyboard and notice how this will display the corresponding resolution:" drop-down list (it's very well and as expected).

  (5) now release both keys and press the [ESC] key to clear the menu drop down.

  (6) and repeat steps 3-4 but this time using the key [O] instead of [R] (in theory, this should appear the "Orientation:" menu drop-down).

  (7) notice how nothing is happening, i.e. the "Orientation:" drop-down menu does not open upward.

  (8) repeat step 5.

  (9) now to repeat the following steps 6 through 8 for each of the keys: [D] ("' Display:" "), [M] (" "several screens:" ").

  (10) even after noticing how these keyboard shortcuts do not seem to work as suggested points out when you press [ALT].

  It works for me.  I press Alt + O, and the focus is on the decline of the direction down. After you press Alt - O, I can immediately press upward or down arrows to set my choice.

  I use BB Curve 8900 with Russian MTS, so all of the main language is Russian (for input and display) with switchable device hot (between English and Russian entries) active.

  The problem is that the standard shortcuts keyboard navigation in the list of messages (as 'b' for the bottom, 't' for the albums etc) have suddenly stopped working. I mean I had been their use normally for a while until that one day I noticed that they no longer work. Everything I do now with change the language entry (in English) etc.would not get back them to work. Any suggestions?

They have all the flash of the appropriate menu bar (so the Word file menu flashes when I press Cmd - T) but nothing happens.

  Sorry, my fault. I use a program called ukulele to create a custom layout that matches my physical keyboard. It seems lion it causes some side effects in different programs - this is the more remarkable in Firefox and Thunderbird. I returned to the standard input and everything works.

  If you are comfortable editing the registry, try to add the "Keyboard shortcuts" value to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\EnTech\DDM and setting the value to 2 (dword). After Dell Display Manager restarts, you should be able to cycle through layouts EA using the shortcut Alt + Ctl + shift + E. If you have multiple monitors, note that the shortcut key applies to monitor the mouse cursor is on.

  You will need to have the latest version of DDM (b.1498): hold down the SHIFT key while right-clicking on the DDM notification icon and select "Check for new version" in the context menu.
