Dell Streak 7 is glued on the dell screen flashing

I read through all the messages in this forum.  I tried to load the DS7 all night, tried the hard reset after that, but can never get the pop up screen that offers to erase data.  Next to the SD card reset button only turn off the camera most of the time.  Cannot get into SafeMode either.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Your only option is to nvflash it back to stock rom. Go to the link xda developers forum below and read about how to do so.

  • MacBook Pro glued on the gray screen and does not start. Help, please!

    Hello

My 13 "MacBook Pro (mid-2009), running Snow leopard (10.6.8), has finally given up and won't start.

I tried to boot into SafeMode several times, but the loading bar does not move and the laptop just completely stops.

I also tried to boot in single user mode with the command fsck - fy, but this results in the following:

    disk 0 s 2: I / 0 error

    Invalid node structure

I guess that means that there is something wrong with the hard disk and some corrupt files?

My problem is that I have no time machine backups, so I would like to know if it is possible to do something to get to the top and running.

That, I do not have an external drive with my main important files and photos on a failure, so is it possible to completely erase the computer so I can sell it at least?

I really need help on what I've been driving myself crazy trying to figure it out!

I'm not all techniques with regard to the material. I tried doing research and have seen things, which suggests that I should reinstall the OS X, this would imply in the disks provided with the laptop when the power?

    Any advice greatly appreciated!

Boot from the DVD and run the check/repair disk utility and repair permissions until you get no errors.  Reformat the hard disk using Disk Utility/Erase Mac OS extended (journaled), then click on the Option button and select GUID. Then re-install the operating system.

When you restart, use Setup Wizard to restore your data.

  • Tecra S11-128 on the external screen flashes

    Gentlemen.
    I have two problems.

1st. If I use the S11-128 with the provided power supply and an external LCD display, a distracting flickering effect is visible. It disappears if I run the laptop off the battery or with an old Tecra M2 supply (2004, electrically equivalent). My faulty power or is it a common behavior?

    2. I wrote a polite and detailed message, but the language of the forum filter does not let through, so that you get a condensed version X-(X -)

These symptoms are typical for the land issue.
I much read about flicker on external monitors, while the laptop is connected to the power adapter.
In most cases, a 3Pin adaptor cable might solve this problem.

I recommend that you get in touch with an ASP local and order this cable.

  • Android app on the Passport, screen flash

We have an Android application that has been published to the game store (here, but it requires a user name & password) which, when the main activity is displayed, the screen begins to blink. It is specific to 10.3.0 however he showed on a passport & a classic running 10.3.0.1418 but peripheral running 10.2.1 are not affected and are not devices running 10.3.1.

I followed it down to the continually called onDestroy() method while the activity is created and then killed on several occasions. It doesn't seem to be something strange about how the activity will be started or with the activity itself (it extends from ActionBarActivity).

    startActivity(new Intent(LoginActivity.this, EventListActivity.class));

This happens with the app loaded as an Android .apk and if the app is converted to one. bar.

The Android build target is 4.3.1.

It is a very strange problem and I hope someone hear can offer advice.

    See you soon

In case anyone has the same problem and came here for a solution; the solution is to add

    android:configChanges="locale|orientation|keyboard|screenSize"

in the relevant section of the activity of the AndroidManifest.xml (removal of the options according to the case).

  • When I start Windows XP, my screen flashes, a help option is displayed in the taskbar and my audio and video have disappeared.

After I start my system (XP) my audio system works very well. After some time the HELP screen flashes option appears on the taskbar and my audio and video sounds have disappeared. I can hear system sounds. I downloaded Fixit from Microsoft Support for its repair. But when I run it I see a runtime error 80040402. 2-3 days back, I had installed Avast 6.0.100 to get rid of a deadly virus that infected my flash drives. Since then, I have this problem. Help, please?

    Hello

Follow these methods mentioned below and check.
Method 1: run a scan for viruses with Microsoft Safety scanner and check.

Reference Dell pc with xp family. Restart to the logon screen. starts ok in safe mode. run msconfig and do that no change then do restart ok everything ok until the cold start, then hand it to restart?

Peek into the registry to find clues.

Disable the automatic restart in case of system error and see if you can capture a message of error checking bug (BSOD) with useful information.  Automatic restart in the event of system failure can be disabled in the F8 advanced boot menu, or you can turn it off in system properties.

    1. right click on my computer and select Properties.
2 - Click on the Advanced tab, and then click on the Start button and recovery settings.
3 clear the automatically restart box and OK your way out system properties.

  • My computer does not load past the Bios Dell screen

Vista 32 bit Home Premium on Vostro 200
Hey, my name is Christian and this is my problem:

It all started last night when I (stupidly) decided I should change my screen windows open, you know, black screen, where the green bar would float through from left to right while the computer responsible. I decided to change to a sort of landscape of Lake, but this is not the point.
Before that, I chose at the next restart, the registry would be defragged and there would be controls memory.
I am so down and restart the computer.
Computer turns on and I the landscape to the instead, loading screen unless it's just a picture, so there is not move bar telling me whether or not the computer was loading.
And the screen just wouldn't change. I assumed that defragments the registry and memory check took place, but I was rather paranoid about whether or not something is going on I turned manually the computer off hold the button down.
I turned it back again and he went to the same - screen landscape and would not pass as usual. Paranoia took ahold of me and I turned it off once again. I did it a couple of times (and I apologize) until a system repair came automatically.
I thought it was my way out of this problem, but it didn't really fix anything, and the screen landscape had changed now in a black screen which seems to have a background image screen to vista aurora discoloration in the Center.
And it's right now. It does not seem to go beyond that and I think now that it was all due to the change in the loading screens.

I even left on overnight assuming the scans took place and it would be frozen until the tests were performed.
    Nothing has changed.

I tried the obvious; safe mode does not work exactly. I click on it and all I get is the names of the drivers being loaded then a very slow black line through every driver leading one by one.

Unfortunately, I deleted the backups of my restore system checks an hour before this happened and I did a lot of memory by pressing F8 and choose the option.

I'd even do a factory reset as long as I've had all my files and drivers on a hard drive.

I don't know what to do, I am completely distraught. Any advice would be helpful and thanks in advance!
(a factory reset would be VERY VERY last resort)

    Christian.

  • DELL C2665dnf - the touch screen does not

Little more than a year from the model already replaced is not the first time under warranty.

Can no longer use the touchscreen. No crack, no damage, peripheral is covered on every night when not in use.

Dell technical support were without help, absolutely no idea on the machine. After 10 minutes he asked that the device look like really! Much like our dell above us support response referring to the manual which does not cover our problem.

Has tried for 2 hours to explain the technical assistance that the touch screen did not work, but he insisted, I tried printing from different computers, reinstall the drivers, try different network cables, reset.

At the end that I hung up in frustration, because he just couldn't understand, there was a touch screen.

My only job around our dud machines is to install Dell Document Hub and control everything from your desktop. It's the only way I can scan now. Not sure about fax I do not use this feature.

We are a company who buys are more products dell.
