Dell workstation precision T5810 with an nvidia GeForce graphics card?

I would buy a dell T5810 workstation. But these positions by default comes with nvidia quadro cards options. But the software with which I work offer the best performance with nvidia GeForce cards line. So I would like to know if the dell workstation is compatible with GeForce cards as well. My knowledge on these graphics cards is really limited. Any suggestion on this would be sincerely appreciated.

Thank you

After Effects uses your CPU and RAM mostly, not the GPU.

You only need NVIDIA CUDA for one function: acceleration of 3D compositions plotted in the Department. Your most recent Maxwell NVIDIA GPU does not contain the necessary OptiX library for this function so ever, it won't work to accelerate traced to the radius of the 3D compositions. I'm sorry.

The After Effects team no longer works on this feature, and suggests to use Cinema 4 d Lite (supplied) for your work in 3D instead. There are also some great third-party options to add 3D elements in After Effects as Invigorator Pro compositions and video Copilot 3D element.

    Hope that things cleared up.

Should I buy this or not?

Well, if you get the Xeon V3 they are locked to 2133 DDR4 ram. The 5960 X and other chips I7 Haswell E will load any DDR4 speed and are not locked. So you can get the amount of fast ram with the I7 CPU. ECC adds an extra clock for the ECC cycle which is a marginal increase in latency ram. However, the difference between DDR4-2133 and DDR4 2666 is big enough, especially when it comes with 4 +, media. That's why you want unbuffered ram, but need you an I7 using it at a higher speed, 2133. Also there is at least some Xeon boards that used same handle without buffer ram, so maybe it's not an option on this Dell anyway. You certainly want the Quadro K4200 of pit and get a 980GTX card. The Quadros are slower and do not have HDMi 2.0. They generate more heat at this point than the 900 series cards. I would like to ask what PSU is that Dell however since this is a major limitation of upgrade of video and other cards if it is small.

I have a HP Pavilion 590PC and would like to know how to change the graphics card GEForce GT420 existing with the GE Force GTS450 and will there be a difference?

    Hello

If you need improved video performance, then the answer is Yes.  You will see the difference with the video intensive applications.

Review the performance of NVIDIA specifications. Look at the specifications of strip memory bandwidth and level of DirectX support.  Also check this comparison.

The NVIDIA GTX 550 TI is priced in the same way to the GTS 450.  GTX 550 it is a video card faster, compared to the GTS450.  Look at this comparison.

Open your PC and a few measurement in parallel with the PCI-E x 16 slot to see how long of a video card will fit. The adjacent slot on the PCI-E x 16 slot must be vacant.

  • Error code 31 with the Nvidia GeForce 9800 S cards. _

I don't remember having this problem when I first got this HP Firebird 802 more than a year before, but now when I go into the Device Manager I have a problem. Under graphics cards, both my NVIDIA GeForce 9800 S graphics cards have the yellow exclamation mark next to them. When I right click and go to properties, for them, it says "this device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31). "I tried the program Microsoft Fix that automatically detects and solves the problem, or if it is said and he reinstalled the drivers and made me restart my computer but it does not and did not work (I tried about three times now). Nothing comes from google for this problem, and I fear the worst. I don't know if this has ruined my graphics capability for games such as Fallout 3 and SC2, but they really don't work as smooth as I think they would on average settings.

    SPECIFICATIONS OF THE PC:

Reinstall the graphics driver from Nvidia site, in Winupdate settings, disable the updates recommended.

    Hello

It is not really practical to replace the graphics card because although it's called a 'map', it is actually physically soldered to the motherboard in the same way as a chip.

You may want one of the possibilities is to have the cards to the motherboard connection, converted using a service like the one on the link below.

  • Sound lost when I installed a NVIDIA GEFORCE 8400GS card

I installed a graphics card and lost sound. When I try to open the volume control I get a message that says: "There are no active mixer devices" the card supplied with the HD audio software and I installed it without thinking. I use not the HD audio. I want to just restore the mixer and audio original. Any help?

    Hello:

If your graphics card is equipped with an HDMI output port, all you have to do is go into your BIOS and look for the audio setting on board.

Will be set to Auto.  Change it to " Enabled". Save the setting at this point, and again when you exit the BIOS.

Now your integrated audio system needs to be restored, and you can also audio HDMI when you connect an HDMI cable to your TV.

  • freezes on Hp IPISB-CH2 with the new installed graphics card BIOS

I have the HP Pavilion Elite HPE H8 1010cs. Motherboard is HP IPISB-CH2. I bought the new graphics card GAINWARD Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 4 GB with 600W power supply Corsair CX600M. First of all, I tried my new power supply with my old nvidia 550Ti GPU. It worked perfectly. But when I replaced the old card with new GTX 970, bios freezes on the first power on the window. Escape does not work. I'll be back new graphics card, or is there still some hope in this?

    Hello @Tomas83,

I understand that you are having problems getting your work HP Pavilion HPE h8-1010cs desktop PC with your Gainward GeForce® GTX 970 Phantom 4 GB graphics card. I think that the reason why you're facing this problem is the breaking backward compatibility on the PCIe slots was broken to the around the label Gen 2.1 and you try to put a Gen 3.0 card in a slot of Gen 1.0. In substance, it makes your computer incompatible with the graphics card, that you have chosen to use.  I provide you with an article on the overclock.net site called the final answer to the controversial compatibility of PCIe x 16 version., where the author explains what I've described and going in how he made the decision. I would advise that you read the article, if you have any questions about the issue you address.

I hope that I have answered your question to your satisfaction. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

  • NVidia GT Graphics Card 610 - Code 12

I installed my new NVidia GT 610 graphics card and installed the driver perfectly (BIOS is up to date) but when I check the device (via the built in graphics card integrated) Manager, it says:

This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system. (Code 12)

I tried to disable the onboard graphics, then by restarting the system with the GT 610. I can hear the computer reach my login screen, but I got no picture except a black screen and a white Uni '-' in the upper left corner. I tried to take it a little further by disabling the onboard graphics directly from the BIOS, but when I do this, when the pc starts I'm stuck on blue to the screen that says "press escape to the start menu" does not at all, forcing me to turn if off.

I feel like I'm so close to getting my new card to work, but I can't figure out what to do from here. I tried looking for a similar experience using the search function and a guy said he got his work by turning off 'a lot' of 'useless' material things, but I'm hesitant to do without knowing...

Help, please! I'll keep an eye on this thread in the next hours (currently 20:54 here).

Edit: I posted the exact same question in the forums of GeForce.

Edit: Troubleshooting said to me that ' material changes may not have been detected.

Edit: Location - PCI Bus 1, device 0, function 0.

In fact, you can find that you have more success with a Radeon AMD\ATI video card.

I knew that with some motherboards, specifically Pegatron cards mothers.

The problem is that you dig into the DIY Kingdom PC game and try to do it with a desktop pass-fail.

Upgrade of a pre-built PC does not always lead to a success story. Don't even consider trying to install the modules of memory sharp game. It will be a disappointment for you.

You can get lucky with an AMD Radeon HD graphics card.

But... You may just in the same frustrating scenario that you face today. I would like to have better news for you.
