Description Expression step

Hello

I add a few features to a custom step type. One of the features is showing the data some of the step in the description field.

But some data in an array of dynamic size.

Is there a way to browse the tables in the field of expression?

This issue is not limited to the Expression of Description step. You can use it in each Expression.

Jürgen

Hi Scott,.

Thanks for the reply.

For the iteration, I've switched back to an old solution that uses the Evaluate().

  • IPCC Express - step of reading DB with variables

    Hello

    With the help of the IPCC Express 4.0.5. I have a DB reading step that takes call coverage of CallManager information on specific extensions. "Selection field" tab I have:

    In this case, he pulls the info for extension 66960 successfully. What I really want, is to replace '66960' with a variable that gets defined earlier in the script.

    Does anyone have experience with this? I can create a variable of string called 'test '. However, if I can replace "66960" $test I get an "undefined SQL statement variable: test" error message.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks - Rob.

    You can control if you have a return transport after that the variable 'test' in the db read step. If so, removing the same will save the step with the variable in the query without any error message.

  • personalized step description

    When you create a custom step type, what do I enter in the box "Expression of Description step" to display the 'operation' and "track (s) to connect/disconnect" the programmer went into properties of switching tab of each step? This custom is only switching so I don't want to open the Properties dialog box and look at each step to see what is. Thank you, Jason

    Hello Jason,

    In the "Step Description Expression" box you could do something like:

    "Operation:"+ ".

    (
    Step.TS.SwitchEnabled?
    (
    Step.TS.SwitchOperation == 1?
    ' Connect ' + ' |. ' Track (s): "+ Step.TS.RouteGroupConnect:"
    (
    Step.TS.SwitchOperation == 2?
    ' Disconnect ' + ' |. ' Track (s): "+ Step.TS.RouteGroupDisconnect:"
    (
    Step.TS.SwitchOperation is 3?
    "Disconnect all":
    (
    Step.TS.SwitchOperation is 4?
    "Connect/disconnect" + "|" Track (s) Connect: "+ Step.TS.RouteGroupConnect +" | Disconnection of path (s): "+ Step.TS.RouteGroupDisconnect:"
    "Error".

    )
    )
    )
    )
    : 'Not active change.
    )

    It is a little confusing because SwitchOperation is a number that corresponds to an operation, that is why we have the nested conditional statements.

    Let me know if you have any questions.

  • Can fix you this problem... no text cursor is available in the description box for step 4 from the sale of eBay.co.uk

    I use XP Pro SP3 + Firefox 16.0.2
    Since yesterday, trying to sell an item on eBay.co.uk, no text cursor is available in the description for step 4 box, is not possible to enter text.
    However, text can be entered in all the other text boxes on the sales page.

    For comparison, using Internet Explorer 7, the text can be entered in this text box.

    Hello. Thanks for this direction. Problem turned out to be coming through "Elegant". A style to remove ads from eBay has proved to be the root of the problem, and eBay has been fully functional as soon as I disabled the style.
    I really liked this style... think I'll keep it for viewing and clear to sell! Elegant, which is easy using the toolbar in the Firefox Add-on.

    I'm new in the world of TestStand and I have a simple question.

    How can I share the output of a step between the expression step.numeric.result (NumericLimitTest) and a variable 'local '? I need the output of a time step value for the comparison of the limit and once to give to the next step.

    Thank you

  • How to change the Description of the c# step programmatically

    Based on user selections in my DLL I want to change the Description of step TestStand.  I use c# 2008 and TestStand 4.1.  I am able to read the Description by using Step.GetDescriptionEx, but I can't find a matching 'Set' command.

    It is a step in editing.  With the help of PropertyObjectFile.IncChangeCount () works fine.

    I agree that it's frustrating.  I had the same problem recently.

    You should post it in the forums of idea: http://forums.ni.com/t5/NI-TestStand-Idea-Exchange/idb-p/teststandideas

    Or you can change the sequence that generates these and include parameters.  The source so that it is in: \Components\Tools\DocGen

  • cannot change region on the App Store after the cancellation of the apple music membership

    I can't change the country on the app store after the cancellation of subscription music apple (turn off auto-renewal), still getting the same message "To change stores, you must first cancel your membership of Apple's music"

    Hello, TanBrar.

    It seems that you are unable to change your country on your App Store because you always get a message to cancel the Apple music, even if you have already done.  The following Knowledge Base article provides clarification on the manner in which the process of cancellation of Apple's music ends:

    Manage your membership Apple music on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac or PC

    Disable the automatic renewal, cancel your membership

    If you wish to cancel your subscription of Apple's music, turn off the auto-renewal.

    Your membership may be renewed if you don't turn off your automatic renewal 8 hours or more before your renewal date.

    On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

    1. In the music application, press your profile icon in the upper left corner.
    2. Click on View Apple ID. You may need to connect.
    3. Under subscriptions, click on manage. If you have more than one subscription, type on your membership (membership of music Apple) to see your membership options.
    4. Under renewal Options, disable the automatic renewal. Confirm your selection, and touch done.

      If you don't see the option to disable the automatic renewal, your subscription will automatically stop at the end of the current billing cycle.
    5. Press done to return to the screen of your account and then press done to return to the application.

    As shown in the image and the description of step 4, the subscription stops at the end of the billing cycle. After this date, you should be able to complete the change of your App Store:

    Change your iTunes Store country or region

  • ProcessHandle in 64-Bit TestStand

    Hello

    in the 32-Bit-TestStand sequences (4.1), I get 64-Bit-TestStand (2014) steps to "Call the executable" error

    "- 17308: ownership of process step manage rental must be an expression that returns an object reference."  "Invalid expression: Step.ProcessHandle.

    Now, the Step.ProcessHandle exists as a property of the step. The documentation says that an independent appeal of the number of bits should use the expression

    RunState.Engine.Is64Bit? Step.ProcessHandle64: Step.ProcessHandle

    However, Step.ProcessHandle64 does not exist as a property. Is it okay to use Step.ProcessHandlePtr? Would this work in sequences used in 32 - bit and 64-bit or the conditional expression above is necessary (with ProcessHandlePtr instead of the ProcessHandle64 non-existing)?

    Concerning

    Peter

    Hello Peter,.

    Thank you for your message.

    Yes, your proposal is good:

    Step.ProcessHandle is only supported on 32-bit Teststand. To use your secuences to a Teststand 32-Bit to a 64-Teststand, you must use Step.ProcessHandlePtr.

    I hope I could help you.

  • using the charger for subsequence parameter property

    Hello.

    I have a sous-suite in the main sequence.  The subsequence is in the same file and has a parameter (empty string by default).  I can't understand how to use the property loader to fill this setting - even if I do the parameter an array of DatabasePropertyMapping.  What Miss me?

    Your question is not really make sense to me.  The shipper of the property is really designed to initialize variables at the beginning of a sequence.

    If you want to change the value of your local variable after any step, simply add the expression appropriate to Post Expression step.

    I wonder if what you want to do is maybe not use the SequenceFilePostStep callback.  If you use a FileGlobal instead of a Local, this callback can do anything, you need to do to this variable after each step.

  • TestStand 2012 keeps the value of the variable

    I have a problem with TestStand 2012 that preserves the value of the variable. I have a step and its parameters in the string variable. I use the expression step as Step.Settings += "00". I run the sequence under sequential model and the problem is that Step.Settings is equal to "00" on the first run, '0000' on the second throw, '000000' on the third race and so forth, but it must rest '00' on each race. I can't find the root cause. Anyone has the same problem and can advice how to solve?

    Try to uncheck the properties of the sequence > optimize reentrant calls to this sequence to the sequence that contains the step.

  • By pressing the button Cancel to fail in sequence

    Hi all

    Small question:

    In a sequence (main), I called a sous-suite. This sequence of void sends three signals to a monitor, causing three different screens.

    Using windows popup message, I want the tester to decide that the screen is good. If it's good, he or she must press the OK button, right, press the Fail.

    So, when I press the test button (button 1) spent and should continue to the other.

    When I press the button (button 2) Fail the test fails and the (main) sequence to be not.

    Currently when I press on the fault, step in the subsequence fails, but the main sequence which the sequence of void is called, is always passed saying.

    Here are the settings for my popup message because they are:

    Expressions:

    Display expression: RunState.SequenceFailed = (Step.Result.ButtonHit == 1)? False: true

    Pre expression: Step.Result.ButtonHit == 1? 'Past': 'failed '.

    Thanks in advance!

    Jeroen, Netherlands

    Hey Jeroen.

    I think I have the cause of your problem at this time. You use any of the term post in step of popup message. You can just have your expression of State. Whats playing is when you run the sequence when the 1st two steps fail and the step 3 passes, 3 step sets the Boolean RunState.SequenceFailed return to the fake. If the result of the sequence becomes past. In short, deleting the phrase post in your message drop-down steps will solve the problem.

    Thank you

  • Signature with BlackBerry ID

    Hello

    I just reinstalled the operating system and so had to do the new install of BB momentics and ndk.

    Now I use BlackBerry ID to sign the apps, but my application previous needs to sign with old keys of signature otherwise the new update will appear a new application standalone and not the extension of the current application.

    I got the error when downloading the upgade to BW who said that the package ID is not the same. After Google search, I learned that the app must be signed with the same old keys if right all upgade for the current application.

    I don't know how to solve this problem. Any help would be much appreciated.

    PS: I have the barsigner.csk, barsigner.db and auther.p12 files.

    Hi Spacena,

    For a detailed description of step by step on how to link your keys to your BlackBerry ID account, please visit this blog by Mark Sohm: http://devblog.blackberry.com/2013/08/code-signing-keys-be-gone-welcome-blackberry-id/

    Once you have linked your signing keys on your BBID account, set up your IDE for the signature using the new files of signature (bbidtoken.csk and author.p12) and you should be able to use your IDE to sign your application under the same information of the author.
