Design mode - cannot select text, only the Divs

• Cannot select text in the file Acrobat DC

  The old Acrobat had a hand picker icon and text that I could use to pan the page of the document or selection of text in the page.

  Now, how can I select text, since I do not see the text Selector icon in the toolbar and I currently my cursor 'stuck' on a dynamic zoom slider I've previously selected and now can't get rid of.

  Hi MChampa-

  You don't need to add anything to the toolbar as it exists already. Make sure your program window is wide enough to see the tools. You have the Pan tool and the text tool on the toolbar of controls on the Page, shown here as a floating toolbar.

  

  You must move your cursor to the bottom of the document window in order to see the controls on the Page if they are floating. If you prefer, you can anchor the with the toolbars at the top of the page by clicking on the icon to the right indicating the arrow upward. The two icons on the left are the ones you describe, I believe.

  I cleared the cache of police, I have re-installed the whole program and I checked the other apps for similar problems, there are none. Not really sure where to go from here.

  As a work around, I am able to scroll through the list and make your choice with the keys on my keyboard. Not really ideal if!

  No, if it works in another account we need not the test Mode without failure.

  Make sure InDesign is closed, then:

  See replace your preferences for the paths to the TWO hidden folders where the prefs are located and rename or delete them in the original user account. A copy of these two entire folders, not only the content from the account that works and stick to the appropriate locations in the account which is not.

• Change selected text in the TextInput, TextArea controls color

  I can't find a way to change the color of the selected text in the TextInput or TextArea controls from the default black.

  Could someone point me in the right direction on how to do this in AS3.

  I thought it would be a style or a property, but in this case I must be missing it.

• With 10 FF, when you access fields: no cursor doesn't appear, cannot select text, no visual indication that you have access to a field.

  When you click in a field to enter text (as in this text box), no visual indicator appears (for example, a cursor blinking) to let you know that you have access to the field. In addition, when you select the text in the field, there is no indicator that you have selected text (do not be highlighted). The only way to know is to start typing or trying to cut text or paste text. It is not at all intuitive.

  You encounter this bug that will be fixed in Firefox 10.0.1, eventually published later this week.

• Problem with the text in the div tag

  Hey there,

  the question that I have is that every time that I add text to a div tag and press 'enter' to start on another paragraph, the text on the first paragraph right guard moved down to about a paragraph. It happens in Dreamweaver and the browser when available is presented as a preview. I have included a few pictures below, please advise.

  Paragraphs, titles etc. have legacy browser style rules.

  We can remove the style by adding rules to the top of the stylesheet

  Even better is to include a CSS reset set of rules such as found here http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/css/reset/

  By the way, please note that the use of identifiers will limit your fun by using style rules. You should not use ID unless needing a single login. In your case, I would use a class.

  Heights of adjustment are also going to strangle the natural flow of your document, especially if you intend to start on the drawings of fluid

  (1) never trust design mode - only view that counts is rendered in a web browser.

  (2) padding using CSS, margins and the row height to control spacing. Use not (nonbreaking space) or
  General formatting tags!

  (3) Dreamweaver is not a word processor. It is futile to try to use it as such.

  (4) give up the idea that you can control all aspects of the presentation of your document. You can not. Users viewing your page will use different settings, have different fonts and do different things beyond what you expect always. So instead of "force" users to view the document the way that you think it should be considered, use the flexibility of HTML documents to allow the user to view your content in a way that suits them best.

  As always, to learn the language (HTML and CSS) to get the best results on the environment (web pages). I hope this helps.

• Cannot select items on the page except on the specific layer

  I'm having a very strange problem in Fireworks CS5. I can't select something on my page unless I go and find the appropriate layer and select this layer. Then only, the elements of this layer will be available for selection.

  I looked through the preferences and there is no option for this market. It's terribly disturbing to my workflow. Anyone has this problem or knows how I can fix this problem?

  Looks like a case of simple Edit Mode.

  In the layers panel, on the far right, click the icon in the properties panel. In the list of context properties of Panel make sure you that single layer editing is switched off.

  In Pages impossible to select text, so I can't copy. I tried to select text using a different text editor and it worked very well, but not in Pages more.

  Pages version 5.6.2 and MacOs 10.11.5 on an iMac since early 2009.

  You use Firefox for a particular reason in Windows XP compatibility mode?

  Make sure that you are not Firefox running in compatibility mode.
  You can open the properties of the desktop Firefox shortcut via the context menu and check under the tab "compatibility".
  Make sure that all items are disabled in the tab "Compatibility" in the Properties window.

  The drop down menu no longer appears visible text of the bookmark or visit history. Display the favicons and field background changes color on mouse / sensitive and blind clik (based on the favicon) will launch the site.

  Could be a setting somewhere jumped the track and set the display of text on background of the field.

  This problem may be caused by an extension (Delicious) that is not working properly.

• M402n: Print no text, only the graphics

  I just installed the M402n and it will only print graphics on a page (in my case, the lines in a tax form).  There is no text printed once so ever.

  This is a network printer.

  Please help, I am ready to send this thing back!

  How do I do this, download a PCL5 driver?  Or is it that easy?  And when I mean graphic, it downloads the lines on the tax forms, no text, just the lines.
