• Windows xp mode display problem

  When I play the game Age of Empires I in windows xp mode, I see "could not initialize graphics system. Make sure that your video card and driver are compatible with DirectDraw. I know that Windows XP Mode is a virtual operating system on Windows 7. How to solve this problem?

  XP mode has no graphics acceleration and is not a solution to the game. The game will most likely never run in XP Mode.

  Other solutions for virtualization, like VMware or VirtualBox, have 3d acceleration for playing games, so you can try it.

• Fonts Web shows is not in design mode.

  Hi all.

  All of a sudden I have problems with my times don't not showing / preveiwing in design mode.

  for example. the menu currently looks like this (design mode):

  The font I'm using is Babas Neue. It shows perfectly mode down and when exported, but in the design mode displays incorrectly. We're not even the sample in unrolling of fonts.

  Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? I tried to re - install Muse without result.

• Problem with display in the design mode User Interface

  Hello! I use the model #2 from the Adobe Developer Connection found here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/dreamweaver_custom_templates.html

  When I add more than 10 navigation buttons they begin to appear to the right of the first 10 in design mode.

  Text dims to the overview is because you called a: hover, but not li: hover.

  Instead of

  .leftnavigation a: visited {
  color: # 66;
  }
  .leftnavigation a: hover {
  color: #ffffff;
  background-image: url(images/nav_down.jpg);
  }

  follow these steps:

  . LeftNavigation li: visited {info style here}

  and

  . LeftNavigation Li: hover {info style here}

  Make sure that keep them in that order! You want your Pseudo-classes to come in this order:

  Li: link link

  Visited li: visited

  Hover li: hover

  Active li: active

  Again, it won't be your entire list change (menu point) color, so you could also add funds... at the present time, you apply a style text only (text styles of color; background-color styles menu item)

• Display problem of designs adapted in older versions of Dreamweaver?

  I built a sensitive site for a client that manages their own updates with a version of Dreamweaver CS4 Mac.   I'm on the latest version and everything looks great in design mode (the site seems as it displays on the web) but when he conceives in CS4 it appears stacked, so of as you would expect a site would display if you didn't have the stylesheet correctly fixed.

  I checked the style sheet is there and linked properly but also through parameters disply with him.  So I'm just curious to know if anyone knows if this is just a problem with the old version of Dreamweaver - they still have the ability to view correctly the questions from the media in the CSS?  Hoping someone can shed some light on this for me.   Thank you!

  You're out of luck if your customer is using something as obsolete as CS4.

  I always use CS4 but l am a coder and work in code view. I don't remember not last time design view showed me something other than a mangled mess.

  Things move quickly in web development and design view is something that has never been 100% reliable.

• My page display mode live view, but not in design mode.

  In DW CC 2014 and 2015 CC DW, my page display mode live view, but not in design mode. When I switch to Design view, I see only the grid and nothing else. ????

  DW, especially the latest version, requires a clean code and valid for many functions to work correctly. Chances are, there are a few code errors in your HTML view Design of the data warehouse can not handle, but browsers and the Live View can.

  Run the validator at http://validator.w3.org/nu for a list of errors and correct all found your page.

  If you have a clean and valid code, but the problem persists, post a link to your current page, or all of the code and css here in the forum (don't use e-mail, it will not come through) so we can take a look at what's going on.

• Dreamweaver problem: cannot go back into Design mode

  Dreamweaver cannot go back in Design mode.

  Condition... Type or paste a line of text. Then press SHIFT + ENTER. If you are in split view, you can see that Dreamweaver has inserted the Unix < br > Break. Then type or paste a character or a word in Design mode and enter a space. Now, try to go back and delete the character that you have just typed or pasted. You cannot delete the last character of the last word after the break, or uniqueness, which was followed by a space. This condition exists in Dreamweaver CC since the launch of Dreamweaver CM³, about a year ago.

  Comments... If you are in split mode, or if you change the Code view, you can see that last space has been removed, and curiously, the cursor is located left of the < br > Break. On the right side of the break, is the content of the text that you want to revert back to remove. However, in design mode, the cursor is to the right of the text to be deleted! Press the BACKSPACE in design mode and the cursor does not move in Code view. View code change and you have to manually move the cursor to the right of the text to remove, and then press BACKSPACE twice: first press empty due to lack of buffer that blocked the action correct backspace (I think, but ideas here so please share with Jack in charge); second button to start the delete text action.

• Background problem white widget, customized in design mode

  Hello

  I have problem with white background that appears only in design mode (it works fine in preview).

  If I resize widget on the smaller size is so minimum width, I had white background on the right or for example if I add margin, I got white on the top of the page, as on the screenshot.

  

  This may relate the transition from spacing/State of the content of the widget, please try to publish the site as a place to test on BC and then provide the link to the site.

• DW CS5 - police displayed in the mode display/Live Design is spec'd like us. The police when Live View is turned off is radically different. Why?

  Subject line says it all. In nine pages, the police specify us for the page appears correctly, regardless of whether the Live View is active or inactive. But we have an existing site, where this is not the case - the fonts non - Live View is very different from what we spec'd (and what we see) when Live View is on... Someone you will suggest where to look for a cure? Maybe a problem of .css file? Thank you. -Jim

  Non-Live View = design mode or in preview in browsers.

  Use Firefox or Chrome to listen to samples.  Right click > inspect element to see what CSS styles are to make your text.

• CS4 Design mode is displayed

  I am unable to get the working Design view unless I Live View open in which case my box of properties is unavailalbe.  I had 'hidden excess' in my CSS but I deleted it, closed Dreamweaver and it still does not work.  When I right click and go to the item display, full and Hidden are grey.  Reset is available which does nothing.

  You have some invalid format comment on the page that could be the cause of display problems for your type 'title Starts Here"of comments.  The comment tag is .  I think that these additional hyphens '-' likely to be causing a problem with the display of design and confusing Dreamweaver.  In addition, in your foot, you have opened 2

  Tags, but only a closing

  tag.  That needs to be fixed as well.  It seems that around the part of the address is missing, copyright law seems fine.

  Finally, you have some CSS errors in this document, but who should not cause the problem you describe although they might cause browser problems that you can look in.

• PHP icon displays only not in design mode

  I just ordered Studio 8 and currently working on the demo version of Dreamweaver 8. I had been using FrontPage for many years and I finally reached its limits. Start from scratch and one of my old FrontPage web pages do not import not, I create new pages. I'm coding in PHP and noticed this cool php icon that shows in my opinion design hence is all my php code. This FrontPage could ever do. I have a table which made several calls "include". I am able to add 2 lines of code that generates two php icons in my mode of creation. When I try to add a 3rd line of php code, it deletes all the icons of nice php in design mode. For the rest of the document, if I add more code, then the icons will not appear. PHP is in code view, but shows Design view is no longer the icon of php. Anyone have any ideas on how to make them appear permanently? This is one of the many features of Dreamweaver that pushed me to buy it.

  The option of not checked worked. As soon as I turned off the "display content includes" all my php icons appeared in my mode of creation. Thanks for all your help.

  Yes - it was the box I did reference.
  If this does not help then it might be a problem with your installation of JDeveloper.
  Try to close JDeveloper, delete the system directory (should be like: C:\Documents and Settings\yourUser\Application Data\JDeveloper\system11.1.1.3.37.56.60)
  and restarting.

• problem with the playback of the record to Captivate (sensitive design mode) 8 screen

  I use 8 Captivate sensitive design.  I did some screen recordings (in demonstration, training and assessment methods) and that whenever there is a short video clip (for example by dragging a bar window or a cursor on the screen), it plays fine in design mode, but then when I publish the entire project for the preview, the clips are suppressed.  It seems that these clips are integrated into my slides Fund and are in SWF format.

  I wonder if they do not play properly is because I publish to HTML5.  If so, how can I convert these small clips SWF to something else?  And if not, what else could be wrong?

  My solution is to replace these slides FMR (having a camera on the film) which sometimes cause issues when publishing to HTML5, cpvc slides, if I can't avoid them. Very often, you can avoid dragging the mouse: example is to click on the scroll somewhere bar instead of drag in the scroll bar, to use the hotkeys etc. When you can't escape a "video shift' stop recording, use the big slides, video demonstration or Insertion button, slide CPVC and you will get video demo mode, where you can record video (its editor-in-Chief is much more powerful than the limited functionality of FMR-edition). When you are finished with the cpvc-slide, you can continue capturing software with slides, software simulation (he is lacking in the Insert menu for some unknown reason). It's more work, I know, but will play in HTML5 (these slides are converted to MP4), its quality is much better than FMR and you have video editor if necessary.

• Preview mode displays a different page than the design mode

  When I edit my page in design mode in Muse CC, the page is 700px about to long. When I saw this page within the Muse, he adds about 300px to the bottom of the page.   Sound as if you want to disable "sticky footer" in the page properties dialog box. This setting makes the page at least as large as the browser window.

  Ive been developing a website for my business and for the last week I worked on the site by using the extensions .php for understands that and whatnot and he was fine, I worked in design mode and code switching back, but strangely, view over the weekend something magical must have happened, because Dreamweaver 8 no longer allows me to view. PHP files in design mode. I can change the .html extensions but its very annoying having to do whenever I want to change something.
