  I work for a small engineering firm. We have owned a large scale printer Postscript HP Designjet T2300 plotter for about five years. We rarely have problems with it, but a few days ago, we started to have problems with the service stations of the tracer. Whenever we turn the plotter hear us a loud clicking noise coming from the area of the station.

  We initially received error code 21.2:13. I contacted HP support and they had me run diagnostics on the service station. They returned with the error code of 21:13. I was told that I needed to replace the service station.

  I disassembled the side cover right to access the service station. When you turn on the plotter, as it has gas carrier station inializes goes ahead all the way and continues to click. I got out the service station Assembly and disassemble to see if I could fix it. Badly cleaned ink necessary spittoon & one of the metal clips used to stop the carrier to move too far to the front had popped out.

  I've cleaned all the ink level and I replaced the clip. I reassembled the Assembly and reinstalled in the plotter. After the reboot, I can still hear the rattling noise. The motor that moves the carriage of station service before doesn't seem to work properly. It does not stop when it reached the front of the gas station. She continues to advance the carrier and click on gears.

  Is there a sensor or something built that is supposed to stop the carrier to service station when it is moved to the front as it has supposed to go? Is my only option to replace the entire service station?

  Toshiba Service Station to download and install updates automatically. Normally you n t need this but if it s not working do not try reinstalling applications. You can find it on the Toshiba page too :)

  09 errors are related to the eio devices.  First thing you want to do is to turn the power off and then remove all eio devices you have.  They will be either a hard drive or a network card.  Now put the plotter and see if it comes to loans without the error.  If only they we features eio is bad.  Most of the time, it's the network card.  According to the model of the network adapter, you can sometimes repair with bicarbonate.  If the card is a look 610n or 615n for cooking instruction on this forum.  If the error is still there without network cards installed, then the main Board must be replaced.

  Click the Start button and type folder in the search bar, then open the Temp folder indicated.

  Open the last HP installation folder that begins with 7z (e.g. 7zs1234)
  Open the installation folder.
  Find the file usbready.exe and rename it to usbready.old.exe
  Navigate to the main extraction folder (folders that begins with 7z) and run the Setup.exe file.

  Now follow the installation and check for the difference.

  I'm in France.
  I just received my new AT200. My first idea is to 3.2.1 update android Android 4.0.4.
  So I launched the service station, and unfortunately, this software is unable to find an update for my AT200.

  I called Technical Support French Toshiba, and the guy said that the ICS for to 200 in France is still not available. But many french people have ICS download from the Service station!

  So why I can't update my new AT200 with ICS?

  I followed the procedure available on toshiba's French web site, but whitout success...

  Any ideas are welcome.

  I'm from the Germany, but I think that I've already read messages from people of france claiming the 4.0 update is available. (Canada was the first, but (most of?)) The Europe that the France followed about a month later, so you shouldn't need to learn of Quebecers).

  Just a few basic questions:

  Are you sure that your wireless internet works without problems and the firewall or even the provider is not a problem?

  You could try another router (friend, family, @work (if allowed)) in order to ensure.

  No there are no updates available? For my AT200, there was first an updated intermediate 3-setting (think it was 3.2.1).) But it may have been already included on your most recent at200.

• Gas station - no option PC Info-Santé?

  I downloaded the last Service Station. Sometimes, when I click on the button "Check for Updates" get "an error has occurred. The server could not be contacted", but most of the time I get the blue spindle for a second and then nothing happens.

  While researching the problem, I saw a screenshot and was surprised to discover that the version that I downloaded doesn't have the "PC Health Info Connection" option on the left side. Who was removed in the latest version?

  I guess that is the problem, but after reinstalling and still get no menu option, I'm puzzled as to what to do now. I also feel that the program is not completely uninstall it but I'm not sure what to do to this topic or the other.

  By the way: are you satisfied with your machine in general? As I see you want to check the updates. Is there a problem with the functionality of hardware or software pre-installed?

• DesignJet 5000 'CHANGE printhead 2516' customer error said

  On a DJ, customer 5000 (sold the plotter to him a week ago) has used a printhead light cyan #83 for a week. Now says he gets 'CHANGE printheads 2516' error (it may indicate more precisely "replace 2516", but not sure "). Before use, the print head has been sitting 2 years however not sealed with masking tape on the nozzles and only had 17 ml shot from there. I installed and was surprised to see that it seemed to work very well and has about 1 1/2 weeks. I noticed that it weighed about 2-3 grams less than the other print heads (about 35.2 gm while others weigh about 37, 5-38 + gm or two, but it seemed to work fine.) I have purged the tubes until I installed print heads. All others are new.

  I am aware that the relocation and cleanup can possibly contact may be in order, but wonder if I am missing other opportunities that may be obvious to others.

  If you clean the print head and still does not ink, you may have to replace it.

  Other cases, I have seen defective cartridges or tubes providing no ink in the print head causes this problem. I hope this isn't the case.

  problem solved: how I did it.
  
  #1 press power + cancel + up together & switch on the back
  (I put the power cord on a switch & put it on the top of the page printer od for easy access)

  #2 in menu diagnosis & get down to 10 option, enter

  #3 #10 menu option, press key 4 times to roll the configuration...

  (my 2nd roll already disabled automatically & I press ENTER to exit)

  everything went well & now I'm about ready to load paper.

  Hi I have a clients designjet 800 here which shows the recommended maintenance message!  plotter has the latest firmware and Ive wiped the ony counters, gas station counter refuses to delete, that gas station was installed a year ago and white shock cushion it still shows some white so its no where close to being at the end of his statement.  Ive reset the counters and leaves the plotter unplugged for a few minutes and still get the same results!   anyone concerned with that and know how to really erase this message?

  OK understood this point I tried to swap at the gas station and he lets me 0 it out but after powercycling the plotter, the maintenance message was always there.  I had to actually use the reset default option in the menu of the eeprom utilities served was the only thing that has erased the msg!

• Loading journal error Designjet 800

  My machine suddenly decided that get leaves to align with the 'blue line' is no longer possible.  Attempts without end, accepted the printer for error margin, are no longer there.

  It certainly is the sensor that designate you under the wagon.  Just to let you know, you talk in the service station of the wheel has a cleaner/scraper rolling on it.  The dried ink accumulates under this scraper and unless it is cleaned off the coast it can bind against the steering wheel.  The gas station is fairly easy to remove and you can remove the 3 screws on top, fold a rear tab and top it won't come off and you can access this scraper.  I would also clean the plugs of 4 rubber than the press against the print heads when they are in original position.

  I saw that the sensor is dirty, but never totally covered to where you could see no light coming out of it.  Also, be sure to use only water to clean whatever it is inside the printer.  Water break down the ink very well.
