DeskJet 1050 - J410a: HP Deskjet 1050 does not print after upgrade of Windows 10

Dear forum,

I recently upgraded my HP Windows OS 8.1 for Windows 10 desktop computer. My deskjet 1050 printer, which worked fine before the upgrade, does not properly more print after the upgrade.

I used HP Print and Scan Doctor several times, indicating no any problems. I am able to scan documents, the question is limited to printing. I also deleted and reinstalled the drivers at least 2 times (and restarted all systems on a regular basis).

  • A "test print" works very well.
  • When I print a PDF from the edge, the printer creates output but not good quality.
  • When I print an office word document, pages came out empty.

3 cases have a common behavior, whenever I get an error message. "Morning maken puts printer niet mogelijk. Duch is for "cannot connect to the printer.".

Do you have any tips for me?

Welcome to the HP Forums, I'd love to help you with printing problems you encounter. Although I am not sure what is cause of the error of communication, or of poor quality, I suspect it has something to with the pilot and the recent upgrade. I suggest to uninstall the software, remove the Chuck from the properties of the server, and then put it back using the printer Installation Wizard. I will list the links and instructions below to help you in each of these steps.

HP printers - uninstalling the software of the printer (Windows)

Remove the driver from the print server properties:

1. in the folder "devices and printers".

2. choose "print server properties.

  • Win XP - with no printer selected, click 'File' then 'server properties '.
  • Windows Vista - with no printer selected, press 'Alt' and then click 'file' then 'server properties '.
  • Windows 7/8, 8.1 and 10 -select any printer in the "Devices and printers" folder and click on "Print server properties" above.

3. click on the "Drivers" tab at the top of the window "properties of the print server.

4. choose the printer that you want to uninstall, and then click 'remove '.

5. choose "Remove driver only.

6. the next screen will give a warning, letting you know that the removal of the driver package will remove it from the system. Click 'Yes' to say are you sure you want to do.

If documents are stuck in the spooler to print, you see an error, cancel all documents waiting in the print queue or try restart the spooler to print, and then try to delete the driver from 'Print server properties' again. If she will not always remove the sachet, restart the computer and the printer should correct this error "in use" and allow the driver to be removed.

    The FN keys are controlled by value added and Flash Cards Support utility package. I think you forgot to install these tools

    You should recheck the Toshiba page and download these two tools. Start with the installation of the package of added value, and then restart your laptop. After this utility installation of Support Flash Cards. Reboot once again and all the FN buttons should now work correctly.

    My card reader SD HP Pavilion dv6 does not work after windows 8 upgrade (6 months ago). Previously, it was working fine when I was with Win 7 (which is the default OS with this laptop).  I don't find the device in Device Manager (under the peripheral system or hard drives).     Good, Startin ' Slam beers now... Updated my Mac to leopard (10.5.8) desktop computer and my Photosmart C5550 does not print. I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer software and everything seems normal until I got to "print" a document. It seems to send the info to the printer, but nothing happens. When I look at "Series of HP Photosmart C5500" in the doc it activates and when I select the icon in the doc it says under "printing" status and above her beside the printer image says "connection inactive. This printer is connected to my Mac via USB and it will not print a test page when envoys of the computer, but it will print a test page for its own controls. I thought that this printer is compatible with 10.5... Am I wrong? In addition, my desktop widget recognizes the printer and even says the ink levels. Any suggestions?

Called HP & said it was Microsofts problem. told by Microsoft of $ 80 or reinstall my computer back to the factory default settings. Not knowing much about computers I'm not want to do. The computer tells me the spool of printer off & to start but when I open the printer spool is on. I hope you understand that this is my 1st post.

    Good so I have this laptop Dell XPS L502X that I bought in 2012. The laptop provided with Microsoft Windows 7 Home Edition.

    I am happy to update this thread, the problem of my laptop screen is displayed using HDMI on my Sony TV, solved on its own with the last update for Windows 10 which includes the OS 1607 version build: 14393.187

  • DeskJet 5550 does not print after I installed new black ink cartridge.

    I recently got a new Dell with Windows Vista 64 - bit OS.  Printer was working fine until I replaced the black ink cartridge.  Print the control page as usual after you install the cartridge, it will not print anything else now.  Not even a test page.  I tried taking the cartridge out and put it back in.  Tried to pull the plug on the back of the printer and plug it back.  Tried turning the printer off and on again.  Also tried to restart the computer.  I downloaded the HP Print Diagnostic report and could not find any problems.  Could there be a problem with the ink cartridge itself?

    Well first of all, I went and bought a different black ink cartridge to remove the cartridge in the problem.  This was not it.  Then I unplugged the printer and cleaned thoroughly and connected plug.  Still did not work.  Then I went into the properties on my printer and started to play with the settings.  FINALLY I FIXED IT!  I clicked on the tab advanced and then click Print Processor.  I then changed to WinPrint and retried the Test Page printing under the general tab and it worked!  Woo Hoo!

    In most cases, BT does not work due to lack of BT software.
    I guess you will need to install the filter for the BT driver package.

    In most cases the 8 Win / filter package 8.1 Bluetooth driver should work under Win 10... Then try to install the Atheros Bluetooth driver filter package and check to see if you will be able to activate BT

  • The BIOS clock does not work after upgrade to Windows 7

    XW4300 workstation has been recently updated to Windows 7 from XP pro.  After the update, the system clock did not keep accurate time, then I entered the BIOS Setup and set the time here.  After several hours, I rebooted, entered the BIOS configuration and noticed clock BIOS had not changed.  I replaced the CMOS (CR2032) battery with three different batteries and BIOS clock does not always change.

    Occasionally, Windows 7 system clock will synchronize to the BIOS clock, which creates the incorrect time in Windows. I can see these events in the system event log.

    Is it possible that this problem is related to the Win 7 upgrade, or is it a problem without a report?  Suggestions to control or fix the BIOS clock beyond what has been done so far?  If I can't fix the BIOS clock, is it possible to prevent the synchronization of the clock in the BIOS Win 7?

    I have not found a CLRRTC jumper on the 4300.  Is there a jumper to reset the password (E49), and a CMOS reset button.

    However, I tried to reinstall the battery with power supply cable disconnected, and it reset the CMOS all anyway.  Reset the CMOS seems to have solved the problem.  BIOS clock has now begun to follow the exact time again.  I rebooted several times now, and the time is now correctly.
