DeskJet 3050 a: Cloud said e-mail address incorrect printer

I have a 3050 has connected to my main desktop via the printer cable, it is ALSO hooked up to my router, so we can print wireless with our notebook computers. Our old laptops were WIndows 7.  I just bought 2 new Chromebooks for Christmas.

When I try to save my 3050 a Cloud, it tells me the email eprint is incorrect.

Should I get my main desktop of Windows 7 printer cable and make it completely wireless, ePrint?

Hello

It is more likely the cause, you will need to first installation web services in order to use Google Cloyd Print and associate your printer with the cloud.

Google Chromebook allow printing using Google Cloud Print, so that you need to save your printer with HP ePrint service and then connect them to the Google service.

Follow these steps to configure the service:

  1. Click on the ePrint button and select delete Web Services. If all confirmationn had to confirm it.
  2. For the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Spain or France follow these steps to re-enable web services and save your printer from the HP site connected:
    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02728147
For ANY country OTHER than the United States, UK, Germany, Spain or France follow these steps instead:
    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02728147
  3. You will receive with the ability to customize the address of your printer on the HP ePrint Center or HP sites connected.
  4. Finally, visit this link and addociate address with Google Cloud Print printer for your Google account:

Please let me know if you're having trouble.

Where can I find the e-mail address for my HP Officejet Pro 8500 A909a series so I can use my new HP app on my ipad to my ipad on my printer printing?

    Tina

The printer Officejet 8500 A909 series does not work with ePrint. You can use the House ePrint and Biz app for Android and Semien devices or application ePrint for iOS devices. However, you cannot use ePrint itself. Sorry for the confusion. Here are links to the ePrint and FAQ Mobile applications compatibility list. Hope that helps.

  • HP Deskjet 3050 a-J611a - laptop wireless - wired desktop can print from it?

I just bought the HP Deskjet 3050 a-J611a and installed wireless on my laptop. (the printer is in another room) We also have a desktop computer (my daughter her room) which is connected to the internet with a cable. I was wondering if it would be possible to also print from the desktop without having to use a USB Wifi key wireless or something. (the modem is right next to the computer if preferred we'd leave it plugged)  Maybe there is a way to print using the modem connection? Thanks in advance

    Hi Michelle150573,

You can share the printer from the laptop, but the most reliable way to install it on the desktop would infest a USB wireless adapter and then install it wireless to his computer. Wireless USB adapters run from $ 10 to $ 30 on newegg.com

    Hello

  • Multiple E-mail addresses for printing configurations

    Hello

I wanted to install a second e-mail address to allow printing b & w such as color printing. Is it possible to get a second for a second configuration?

example: I want to be able to print color or b/w via ePrint. Therefore, a flush draw, I send the mail to [email protected] and for printing black and white, I use the [email protected] address.

Such a thing is possible? Or: Is there a way to affect the configuration of remote printing?

    With greetings

    Hello

Sorry, it's not, you can not use printer even twice. You can change his e-mail address, but can not do as a second printer.

  • E-mail address incorrect when configuring Windows 8 profile

    Hello there-

I went wrong my e-mail when setting up of widows 8 for the first time on a new laptop. How can I change the already entered email address so that the system can validate by sending me an email & finish setting up my account?
I did the online check-in with the correct address. I have however to get an error message from the center of the Action on the taskbar asing me to complete the registration...
Grateful for some advice on this.
    Thank you & best regards
    Nick T

    Hi Nick,

Thank you for choosing Windows 8 and for giving us the opportunity to help you.

You mentioned that you have already entered the online registration email right and complete address. In this case, I suggest you to pass your Microsoft account for the Local account and then switch back to the Microsoft account to see if you get the same error. See the following steps to do the same thing:

    (a) press the Windows key + C, select change PC settings
    (b) click users in the left panel
    (c) click the switch of Local account under the account of the user option and follow the instructions
    (d) restart the computer and follow the same steps to return to the Microsoft account.

I hope this helps. If the issue is not resolved, please get back to us and we would be happy to help you.

Hello Moor_lady, if you are using Windows 7, you can try to reset your printer wireless.

Go to control panel of configuration, devices, and printer and in the menu bar above, select Add a printer in the lower option, select Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer.

There should be another window that shows all available printers to be added. See if your wireless network printer can be found. If so, select this option and continue the process.

  • DeskJet 3050 all-in-One J610A series will not print an alignment page

I have owned this printer for a year and a half and have had little problems with it. When I inserted a new ink cartridge, it wouldn't print an alignment page. The display shows "load plain white paper on tray and press OK", I did. When I pressed OK, it says "printing" but made no sounds and nothing print. I tried the reset of the printer, the printer and the print spooler reset, cleaning, but nothing works. I can print other documents, but he always wonder to print a page of alignment first of all, that it refuses to print. I am at one loss for what else to do. Help?

My first thought would be to do a firmware update, but there is not an update for this printer.  It is not really a power problem since you are able to print any other documents.

You could try a reset by unplugging the power cord directly from the back of the printer when the printer is always on, and then disconnect the other end of the power cord.  Wait a minute and plug the power cord directly into a wall socket (not a surge protector or battery backup) and then again in the printer.

If there is no change, you might take a look at the following links and if you see a step not taken, that give a try.

I have a HP Deskjet 3050 J610a printer that is listed as being capable on the list of HP AirPrint compatible printers and ePrint.

When printing the configuration pages any printer ID or e-mail address is printed. As active poster on the section of Microsoft Web services.

    Hi all

The matrix management model has been updated! DJ 3050 has been replaced by the 3050 a DJ, plus additional models were added.

One more thing... If you have the mobile device (iOS, Android, Symbian) and a DJ 3050, you have a printing solution. You can install the free application of HP ePrint home & Biz. This app will allow you to print to ~ 200 models of different HP printers, including the legacy networking and HP printers compatible ePrint.

  • How can I configure a Deskjet 3050 a/J611 to my Chromebox?

    HP Deskjet 3050 J611 a.

-Installation of the printer, and once, he printed the alignment page.

-Went through the menu of the printer, but it has no option to print the "Backgrounder". All I could get it to print is the configuration sheet, who has no listed email.

-Went to set up the printer in the Google Chrome browser settings, but just me links to HP site.

-No instructions on how to use this printer with a Chromebox/Chromebook in the manual. HP offers Linux drivers, but never on their drives, but the Chromebox not the CD, of course. And wow, is that printing is really small for my eyes to 50 years.

-Says it is connected wireless and printing confirms that, even if I also have the USB cable connected to the Chromebox.

-Google offers no support, just pushes me on the HP site, who asked me to connect using my "new email eprint.

What do I do? Thank you!

The problem is that this printer is set up via the USB port, or something called automatic wireless. The autowireless configuration requires a windows or mac computer to connect.

The alternative is the WPS configuration method, if your router supports you in the menu on the printer wireless, there should be a WPS option, and then when you have pressed OK than thr push button on the router. This allows to bind together the two devices, and the printer will have a full connection.

There is another alternative, but it can be hit or miss.

In the menu of the printer wireless, it takes an option to restore the default settings, select it.

Soon in your chromebox if you look at available networks, you should see a network for your printer, probably scored something like HP-printing-3050, connect to that.

In your web browsers address bar type in 192.168.223.1 - it should load a Web page for the printer.

Here you should be abl to go to the top network, then wireless on the left, there should be a wireless Assistant to put your network name and password.

After that, you should be able to get information page for web services, and then use google cloud print to print from the chrome box.
