Deskjet 5030 wifi configuration

Dear congratulations

Thanks a lot for the answer so quickly.

Just to check my understanding:

Not having is not a connection between computers (I want to say file exchange or to see the other) I will be able to print from each computer and only the first when I made the game will have the drivers.   All computers must have the HP software.  Only the first will actually connect the printer to the network.  After that all computers will be able to see the printer already on the network, and after you have installed the HP software, printing and scan.

Should I keep?  Yes.

I read in the manual that I have to choose between the cable USB or WiFi connection. Can I use the two together? Don't forget that the office doesn't have a WiFi card and must be connected by USB cable (printer is close it). Because this limitation, I can't, for while. Leave it in any other place in my house.   Yes, you can use the two together, but the desktop computer that does not have the WiFi card will also be able to connect to the printer on the network, so no need to use USB!

On the other hand and read your email several times, I can also deduct that once the printer is installed any of the computer will handle it because the router will be in charge of this operation.   Yes, it's true.

Is there a specific set upward in the router? Security is WPA2-PSK it should work.  You may need to go back to WPA or if there's a WPA/WPA2 combo that will work.

Could you please clarify these points?

Thank you very much

  • Problems with DeskJet 460 (WiFi) and Windows 7 (x 64)

I was able to configure my DeskJet 460 with my laptop running Windows 7 64 bit, but I encountered some problems:

Of course, there is no Windows 7 HP Toolbox, so I went in the printer properties in hopes of using the printer services tab to align the print heads after installing new cartridges, but while the printer services tab is there, there is no button or anything at all.  So, how to align the print heads?

The other issue has to do with the evolution of my printer WiFi card so that I can put its IP address manually.  Usually, I could do that through box HP Toolbox, but since my upgrade to Vista x 64, this isn't an option.  Is there another way to get around this?  I don't know, but I recall being able to use my browser and simply type the IP address of the printer as I can with my C7180 but it did not work, even if the Wireless Setup page gave me the IP address.

I did a test print to a Microsoft Word 2007 document and then perfectly printed text, the URL listed in the document did not print.  For comparison, I printed the same document using the C7180, and there is no problem.

And finally, the center of HP solutions don't list not the DeskJet 460, only the C7180; is there a reason for this?

    Any help/comments are appreciated!

I can answer one of your questions - why Solution Center does not DeskJet460?

Because this DeskJet does not complete solution support, the 'hooks' solution for the 460 Center are not created.  HP develops special software for each printer have the Solution Center feature.

  • WiFi configuration after initial installation

The first time I put my master's degree in my Mac, it set up everything, including the Wifi.

With download problems from my workout data to the Web site, I decided to reset my master's degree to factory default.

Now, I want to setup the Wifi, I go through all possible documents and manuals how to do this, but I am able to do it again.

Where and how can I configure my Wifi again?

    Thank you.

When you connect the usb cable and its synchronization finished, you should have a toolbar on the upper left side. Click devices and scroll down to wifi syncing, I think that's what his name. That should do it. It will be useful.

Problem solved! Thank you very much!

I tried to delete the printer with the USB unplugged. When I went to add a printer, there is none listed and no place to go. I plugged the USB back in and it read it immediately. However, no still no joy Wireless Setup.

In applications, I was go to the hp and selection of the device Utilities folder. This time instead I selected the hp utility and got another screen. Down under settings of the printer, there was a marked wireless configuration icon. When I chose it, the process is different from the previous, but it worked.

I tried to go back and duplicate this process, but the printer settings section has more wireless configuration icon. I guess that's because I am now connected. In any case, thank you for taking the time to help me solve this problem!

    Thank you very much.

    Hey,.

I understand the frustration, but I wanted to at least specify on the issue.  I have the 3510 e - all - in - one where I find myself and this model is currently connected to a WPA2 (AES) connection type.  The 3510 and 3520 have the same network with the same capabilities of networking card.

  • DeskJet 3520: Wifi password

I am trying to find my password for the wifi on my Deskjet 3520 printer.  I felt for a while and could not find records for the machine.  Is it possible to set up a new password if you do not have one, or is there a place on the printer I can find the wifi password?

The WiFi password is your network SSID password that is located in your router. You alone have the power to access your own router and check the wireless tab to see your password SSID the printer needs.

    Hello

The printer can be connected to a network.

You can connect the printer using WPS, if your router supports this feature,

Otherwise, you can connect the printer via the HP software in temporary connecting the printer to your computer with a USB port.

Run the installation of the software, you will receive with the option to Recofigure the wireless connection.

When prompted, plug the USB key and follow the on-screen instructions.

  • Deskjet 3520 wireless configuration

I have a new Deskjet 3520 all in one and I'm trying to get the ity configuration. I have the Mavericks 10.9.2. I downloaded the software and drivers on the HP site. I installed the software successfully and the HP utility has started, but it's stuck on the first step in trying to find the printer. It has been tried for almost an hour.

Instructions on the HP site say to use "Auto Connect Wireless HP", but this isn't an option.

Can I configure the device manually? The printer itself doesn't have an IP address, and the wireless light flashes. This configuration does not work why?

Instructions on the HP site for my printer and operating system did not work, so I had to connect via USB to set up wireless printing. Who succeeded. So for someone else with this configuration, trying to follow the instructions from HP I suggest just connect via USB temporarily.

  • WIFI configuration does not

    Hello

I signed by 30 May of course and just received my kit of courses and decided to go through the installation instructions.

I'm not able to get the wifi dongle works as described in the instructions.  My configur├⌐e file looks like this, in accordance with the instructions:

    Auto lo

    iface lo inet loopback

    iface eth0 inet dhcp

    #allow - hotplug wlan0

    #iface wlan0 inet manual

    #wpa - roam /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf

    iface default inet dhcp

    Auto wlan0

    iface wlan0 inet static

    address 192.168.1.11

    netmask 255.255.255.0

    Gateway 192.168.1.1

    WPA-ssid '< % my ssid % > '.

    WPA - psk '< % my password of the network % >'

I browsed the forums here and found a lot of people had problems at the beginning.  I tried a bunch of suggestions and none seem not to work.  When I plug the cable USB - TTY and try to restart the networking, I usually see something like this:

Running of /etc/init.d/networking restart is not recommended because it can not re - activate certain interfaces... (warning).

Reconfiguration of network interfaces... wpa_supplicant: / sbin/wpa_supplicant daemon could not start

Run-parts: /etc/network/if-pre-up.d/wpasupplicant came out with the return code 1

Can not find the device "wlan0".

    Impossible to raise wlan0.

    fact.

Any suggestions for what I can be doing wrong or what I can try?  I have a WPA2 network and am broadcasting my SSID.

    Thank you!

  • Wifi configuration with Airport Extreme (A1143), iMac (El Capitan) running. Need of a direction.

I recently moved to a City University and living in a housing facility run by the University. It's got broadband by Comcast for free with the room. I plugged all the necessary equipment (modem and cable) to the iMac and the internet works well for a week now.

Now I want Wifi for the apartment. I decided to dust off my old 1st or 2nd Gen extreme base station Airport. I read that it can still work with El Capitan, so I went and tried to install it. First of all, I updated the firmware and connected the appropriate cables. Everything seemed to go in the direction of the work, but I hit a bump on the road. Wifi works for the iMac. I unplugged the ethernet cable and it's receiving internet, but I tried to get my iPad Wifi and smart phone and it doesn't seem to work. I used the good passwords etc. Nothing.

I found it odd that I get Wifi to my iMac, although the Airport Extreme light is orange. Normally, it should be green. Of course, I don't use this thing in forever and actually don't think it would work, but so far the iMac becomes Wifi, but aren't the other devices and auburn is turned on. So here's a screenshot of what I see in the Airport utility.

Can anyone help or point me to the right direction? Also it has to do with the campus of the internet, I'm getting?

The attached picture shows it's getting to the internet via wifi (not plugged into the modem) but he doesn't seem to get wifi on my other devices in the apartment. The Airport base station we connected directly to the Modem. I also followed the steps of my iMac had originally planned to make it work and it did, but only for the iMac. I expect the unit to green thereafter but he did not. What gives?

The A1143 was introduced in January 2007 and arrested in March 2009, so the model you have is at least 7 years and older, and as much as 9 + depending on when the product has been implemented.

The average lifetime of a router designed for home use is about 5 years, so we're not sure how much time and effort you want to invest in AirPort Extreme you have there.

Frankly, it is remarkable that the product works for the iMac, because status messages indicate that you have an Internet connection.  We cannot explain this one.

We also don't know if amber on the most convenient airport is flashing, or remains Orange fixed. Can clarify you on this, please?

If you want to try to start over again and set up the AirPort Extreme, the first bit of information that we need is the number of brand and model of your modem.  We don't need a serial number, only the manufacturer name and number for the modem to the model.

We will try to help, but who can give no assurance that we will be able to get things working for you.

  • Help with the best Wifi configuration

I'm moving into a new home that is total 3 floors (basement 1, 2 above). I currently use an airport extreme.  I don't think just the Airport extreme will be enough for the new House.  What material you think I should add to create a strong wifi network in the new House?

    Thank you!

At a minimum, assuming you want a decent quality signal on each floor, you'll need a total of at least 3 airports... one location per floor... or... If you do not need a cover for the entire floor, so that the airport would be located in the heart of the area on each floor where you plan to use wireless.

Ideally, you will use the same AirPort Extreme devices on each floor.

For the best performance by far, plan to connect all airports together using a wired Ethernet cable connection. For example, if the airport on the first floor will be your "primary" router, then airports in the basement and upstairs both would connect back to the airport of first floor using Ethernet cables.

  • Satellite Pro 4600 and WiFi configuration problem

Got a Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600, under WXP SP3. It s a P3 900 mhz with 256 RAM and it s a great laptop, but peut t seem to understand the Wi - Fi.
It captures my router ok sky open a Wi - Fi connection, but it s the config, when I put the WEP key it says it is not compatible with WEP, WPA only s.

I put the ssid for the router ok but it won t accept the key/passphrase in there it says s not long enough.
Could someone point me in the direction of a guide of idiots for this configuration?
Wi - Fi is built-in and it s a Toshiba mini PCI
    Thank you

    Hello

    For me the case sounds very clear;
You can't put the encryption key just because the WEP key is not compatible / supported.

I think you should use encryption that is supported by both parties; router and wireless network card

    Good bye

  • G16 wifi configuration

I just the G16 and have trouble to know the indications in the manual for implementing in place of the wifi. Better step by step directions?

    Hi L8keCanon!

    Thanks for posting.

I did my best to simplify the steps for you.  To make the connection, proceed as follows:

    1. Make sure that you have installed the CameraWindow app on your iPad.  It is available for download from the App Store.
    2. Press the PLAY button, and then press the WI-FI button next to the MENU button to open the Wi - Fi menu.
    3. Choose connect to a smartphone.  I know that you connect to a Tablet, but it's essentially the same.
    4. Select [Add]. An SSID for the camera now appears on the screen.  Please take note of it.
    5. On your iPad, open the WiFi screen.  There should be a network listed with a SSID matches that of the camera.  Connect you to it.
    6. Start CameraWindow on your iPad.  You must register a nickname for your iPad.  When you do, your device must detect the iPad and the login screen will be displayed on the camera.
    7. Choose connect to the iPad.
    8. Adjust the privacy setting by choosing [Yes] to allow the images on the camera to be read on your iPad.

You can now use your iPad to receive pictures sent from the camera images or locate on the camera.

If it is a time sensitive matter, additional support options are available to contact us.
