Hello

I am trying to activate the interactive report Details and gave the code below.

In front of the lines:

< TABLE >

< Caption > This is test < / legend >

Under for each line:

< b >

< td > #PROJ_NAME_LABEL # < table >

< td > #OWNER_LABEL # < table >

< td > #DATE__LABEL # < table >

< td > #DATE__LABEL # < table >

< /tr >

Under after the rank:

< /table >

When I click Details nothing doesn't appear on the page.

I don't know where I am doing wrong, sorry if this is a stupid question but I am new on this

Thank you

Is it possible to do so. I tried to do what I asked in post - added information the head and foot for the interactive report

No, the detail view is not included in the IR PDF/Excel download. Any print server you are using, download of base is based on attributes of the print report.

Please do not question open for each feature or report of the IR. (detail view of know and now you open for graphic/pivot).

To summarize some report layout you want, you can design in rich TEXT/XSL-FO based on models and you can associate with your IR report. So that when you download the IR in PDF/Excel you will get the required i.e. details display page/detail header/footer.

Create a branch and redirect to the same page

Branch point: on Submit (after Computation, valdation and processing)

  • What is the best way to view an interactive report with 20 columns

    Hello

I have an interactive report, given the number of columns (about 20).
What is the best way to view this report... by default to scroll horizontally to see all the columns.
I want to avoid horizontal scrolling.

    Thank you

    Hello Deepak,

You mean apart using a smaller font size or a larger screen?
You can think to combine / wrapping columns (so more data in a column).
Or hide some less important data and show only on request.

  • How to enable detailed interactive report view by default for the user public?

    Hi all

I'm developing a page of search results.

I'm doing a view instead of a default table view of interactive reports. So in this case I activated the details view so that I could make the fancy designs.

everything worked well and looked clean but however when I pass the value of my search using IR_ROWFILTER page and clear the results page using page_noIRB, it brings me to the result page of interactive reports with the default table as point of view.

I have to press the detailed view to get. I tried to save it as a default value, but it won't work. This question is for user public.

If I do the page requires authentication, and record the detail by default view, I wouldn't have any problem. I could search and it will bring directly in to the detail view of the search page.

of course, the other reason that I found is because im using the IR_ROWFILTER and by disabling the page using page_noIRB... without it, it works well, but I need it coz im making a a search result. I need to send the text to search for another page and put it in the filter to the search page. I would need to use the IRB to search again.

is this a limitation to the user public? It happened for the authenticated user but...

How can I make the default view for the user public?

Reverse the report for details on the loading of the page using a dynamic action of loading the Page with the following Execute the JavaScript Code real action:

    gReport.data.view('DETAIL');

I'm doing a view instead of a default table view of interactive reports. So in this case I activated the details view so that I could make the fancy designs.

Do you really need is an IR? Other that the layout of detail, do you need any of the interactive features? If not, try to use a standard report with a a report model custom.

I tried your proposal, but it has no effect. The cells in the report show all their content using as many lines as you need for this.

This is the default behavior for the HTML table data (tables and cells grow to fit their content).

So I have always with lots of lines, lines and lines with only a few mixed lines in my IR dependant on the contents of the cell. Because some lines almost filling the whole screen, it is difficult to get an overview with regard to adjacent lines.
I use the Application Express 4.1.1.00.23. with the theme 21. Scarlet and Firefox 17.0.1.

In fact, I'm working on my first APEX Solution for use in my business and demanding customers a solution for this topic. So I'm very keen to find a solution.
I am very looking forward to your reply.

I have been involved in similar questions in the past. My first reaction is simple: these data must be included in the report? The offending column can be removed from the primary report? They will always be visible in the display of the row and the detail view when it exists.

The second option is to create a detailed view of the report with a structure that is better suited to the data concerned and make it the default view. (For an example, see the treatment of the PRODUCT_DESCRIPTION column in the detail view of the report in the sample database Application: click the show details on the product page.)

The third possibility is some sort of customization of the presentation of the data. It will be using a combination of HTML/CSS/dynamic of the Actions/Plug-ins/JavaScript that you may not be familiar with: do you have any experience of these? To go this route, you must describe in detail how you want to present data, or what behavior is required when the data is too long and share a sample of the report on the apex.oracle.com we can work with.

  • Add radio button to each row of an interactive report: possible or not?

First of all, let me explain what is the point of this application.
I do an application that allows you to select an item in a drop-down selection list. This list is a list of food categories. Suppose the user selects "Fruit."
Then the page refreshes and shows an interactive report with a list of foods which belongs to the category of fruit.

This is where I want to change things:
I want the user to be able to view the interactive report, but in this interactive report, I would like to add a button for each row.
Then, when a certain type of food is selected (say "Strawberry") via the radio button, a text field should appear under the interactive report. In this textfield, the user can then add the weight of the food, and then it will calculate how many carbs in strawberries there.

All that I really want to know is:*.
How can I add an option button to each row of the interactive report, and how to bind this option button to the value of that particular line? *

    Additional information:
The "P17_FOOD_CATEGORY" element contains the following LOV:
Select FOODCATEGORYNAME as display_value, FOODCATEGORYID as return_value
    of FOODCATEGORY
    order by 1

The 'Food' region contains the following source:
    Select a.FOODID, B.SID, b.FOODCATEGORYNAME, c.STANDARDAMOUNT, c.NAME unit
food an inner join FOODCATEGORY b
    On a.FOODCATEGORYID = b.FOODCATEGORYID join FOODUNIT c
    On a.FOODID = c.FOODID
    where a.FOODCATEGORYID =: P17_SET_CATEGORY

PLEASE, I BEG YOU! Even if you don't know an answer, or if you are unsure of your answer, publish! Same suggestions will be welcome! I really need all the help I could get, even if it's not much.

  • Parameter selection of interactive report list

I have an optional parameter select list on my page of interactive reports for users to filter. When the user opens the page I want to all the output of show, but if they type something into the selection list I want to use this filter in my query and re-display the page. I created a selection list with submit ("P237_STUDENT_LIST") and by default the value of 'NONE '. I created a list of values and in clauses 'NONE' so it still shows upwards in the list.

I put this in my report query:

    and (: P237_STUDENT_LIST = 'NONE' or)
    EXISTS (select ")

I seem to have a problem with the session state from the element. When the page appears first, the session state for P237_STUDENT_LIST is empty and shows nothing. When I make a choice in the selection list, session state is ok, but if I go back to 'NONE', it is not reset it. I'm missing something or that the wrong way?

    Bob,

The ApEx team believes people can do what you do and do an easier way. Put your selection list to select a standard. Then enter the details of the interactive report and scroll to advanced attributes > items to submit Page. Enter the name of the element there.

  • How to add the link change in the detail view of the interactive report?

    Hello

    I use APEX 5.0 on 11g XE.

I have an interactive report displaying multiple records with a column of link which is one of to an edition for the registration page. All the standard stuff 'wizard generated. I have also created a layout of the detail view. It all works very well.

However. I want IR to show detail discovers all the time and hide all Toolbar IR. How can I show the link change in the detail for each record view?

Y at - it an easy way to do this by adding a column reference (something like: #LINKCOLUMN #?) or do I need to create it manually with an < a href... > tag. I guess that this method would require me to generate a checksum with apex_util.prepare_url?

    Nick

    Nick4 wrote:

Good point. I agree, however, I want to keep it as an interactive report that I must keep my options open as showing the data... every customer is different, I can change my mind.

Other options are available for this. Compilation options to be exact... create IR and parts of standard report and determine who gets deployed by setting the build on the export options.

I was hoping there was an easy way to display the IR link column in the detail view, but looks like I need to create one manually in the HTML "for each line" in the detail view section.

It works, but no checksum complains...

    EDIT

So have added as a column in the query:

    APEX_UTIL. URL PREPARE_URL('f?p=&APP_ID.:14:&session.::no::P14_CONTACT_ID:#CONTACT_ID#:', NULL, 'SESSION')

    and this for the HTML:

But the URL is always wrong... #CONTACT_ID # always ends after the checksum...?

You are mixing HTML/model and SQL syntax. #CONTACT_ID # does not substitute for CONTACT_ID value in the query. The column value should be included in the URL before calculating the checksum:

    ...
    apex_util.prepare_url('f?p=' || :app_id || ':14:' || :app_session || '::NO::P14_CONTACT_ID:' || contact_id, NULL, 'SESSION') url
    ...

Note that substitution integrated always strings need to be referenced as bind variables in SQL to avoid unnecessary analysis.

  • Interactive reports: how to change the display mode (details, group by, chart, pivot) programmatically?

    Hi guys,.

is it possible to control the display mode of the interactive reports, i.e. display icon, list, view detail, group by, chart, pivot?

    Produkte.png

As I understand the current setting is stored as a preference of the user for each user... and again when his connection. A settings of the rules them all (all the stored report parameters).

The display mode switchable using a javascript, the api package apex_ir or via a link?

    Thank you

    Hi Dietmar,

It is not a supported way to change the display interactive report mode.  With the device connected by Anthony internally, we will consider adding this because part of apex_ir or a link to the future.

  • Interactive reports on views with outer joins.

We tried to create an interactive report on a view with an outer join. It generated an error indicating that there is not a single column to identify the row. What APEX rule uses to identify the column that should be identify the line? Select statement should the correct column in the table that provides the extra lines to be one that is identified in the view?

This is your link to the unique view of the record.

Delete the link; make your view preserved key (so you can use rowid) or identify a column to uniquely identify these lines for Apex.

This is done in the link column settings in the report attributes.

  • IMAGE Blob of a view in an interactive report.

From a view, I create an interactive report. Two tables of interest are the view:

Customers (ID, name, Logo, Mimetype, Filename, Last_Update_Date)
    Projects (ID, title, CustomerID)

    View combines the two in
QryProjectDashboard (ID, Title, CustomerID, CustomerLogo, LogoMimetype, LogoFilename, LogoLastUpdateDate)

I hope that the joints and such are obvious.

In preparing the report, I add all the columns above the view. In the settings field customer Logo, I tried to put in place the mask Format download BLOB that requires:

    1. the format of the mask = Download
    2 blob Table = QryProjectDashboard
    3 column = CustomerLogo Bob
    4 primary Key CustomerID = 1
    5 Col MimeType = LogoMimeyype
    6 Col Filename = LogoFilename
    7. last Udate pass BLOB = LogoLastUpdateDate
    8. content-disposition = Inline
9 Download Link Text = DOWNLOAD

BTW, I use all caps in the views and input fields, and double checked all the spelling.

By clicking on apply in the format mask window is ok, but when I click on apply in the column definition window, he complains of 'QryProjectDashboard' does not exist. So, it doesn't seem to like the view.

So the problem by using a view? How to wire to the top of the Blob object if the report is based on a view? All foreign keys are set up, and there is no private known issues.

    Hello

I have not tested with view.
But as workaround, if you just write even select in region report that you have in mind. Then use actual table to the BLOB format mask.
