  If the sine wave is of significantly higher frequency than the primary control loop can run... The best way to do it would be to put the DAQ hardware in waveform input mode and use a custom device to read the waveform and perform analyses.

  I have a simple script question DIAdem.  I have a dataset using two channels: 1) and 2) Switch_1.  'Switch_1' has Boolean values (0 or 1... or turn off).  In the file, the "Switch_1" varies from 0 to 1 several times.  I want to wrtie a script to determine the period of time which 'Switch_1' is equal to 1.  Can someone help me to do this?

  Sorry for the delay.  Put the two enclosed scripts in the same folder somewhere, and then run the 'County State Duration.VBS' in the Panel SCRIPT DIAdem.  It will pop up a dialog file - select the DDHN file that you sent me.  It loads the file, calculates the delta time, divides the values of the State of the switch in a group '0' and '1', then calculates the sum of all time to delta for each group.  You can find the result in the "Description" of each group and property 'Description' of each channel "time".

• Subtraction and the determination of the base

  Hi everyone - I need help to determine how best to make a determination of the base then subtract leaving just the tops.  My data are profilometry measurements on a substrate surface.  As you can see in the table below the substrate surface is pretty simple but not lying flat on the scanner table.  I'm looking for a simple method identify the linear base line, then he subtract from the raw data, leaving the four peaks with essentially a zero/horizontal) basis.  Then I can use the Ridge detector to identify the peaks and their locations so that I can make additional calculations (especially area of the PEAK and average maximum height).

  Any suggestions on the best way to go about this?

  An polynomial fit using the "less absolute residual" is relatively sensitive to outliers and seems to work quite well in this particular case.

  If you have the license of AWR, you can consult the AWR reports to see when your database is no longer idle. In the 10 chronological model g, the most significant aspect is the DB time has passed, so the period where the DB time is less could be a good candidate.

  You can also check the number of logical/physical i/o performed every second, the number of sessions and other ratios that appear in the upper part of the AWR (for example the "Load Profile" section) report.

  Your post indicates you are using a Mac Pro, which is a desktop computer and with the help of El Capitan who is 10.11.2 not 10.10.3 which is Yosemite - 'my computer operating system Mac Pro OS X EL Capitan 10.10.3.

  I recommend using compatible diskettes... I use TDK and DVD r CD and they are really cool

• Why does the period display NaN? What does it mean "NaN"?

  I have a vi that is supposed to measure values of period 3 and 2 tension using DAQmx.  The vi is attached.

  When I run the vi, I get no error, but one of the counters display NaN instead of a period (in seconds) value.  Why would this counter not appearing?  See the .jpg image of the screenshot, which shows the lights on the front panel, after execution and stop the vi.  Note that the period 2 shows "NaN" but, period 1 and 3 show a real value.  "NaN" only displays in "period 2" executing too. ' " "Period 2" never displays a numeric value.  Moreover, as "NaN" actually mean?

  NaN means not 'a number '.

  In your code, Mean.vi will return NaN (with the error-20003) if the input array is empty.

  What happens if you connect the signal of the 1 meter or 3 to counter 2? If NaN disappears, then there is a problem with the signal currently connected to the meter 2.

  1. Your current code, using usrs to (unitialized shift registers), will produce NaN when running for the first time.
  
  
  2. The size of the usrs to will increment at each iteration.
  
  
  3. If your VI is used as a Subvi, the means will be bad for the first 15 iterations since they will be calculated with the values of the usrs to--> previous lengths.

  You must use PtByPt.vi means that will calculate the average of the X last values without above mentioned problems.

  I am writing a program that analyzes the data of a large cluster of entry so it can be written in a format that is more well known to read later. I am trying to find a way to determine if a variant is an array of 1 d or 2D array.

  I wrote a routine that will determine if the variant is an array, and the type of table (dbl, i32, etc.), but I don't know how I can tell if the table is 1 d or 2D so I know what I should wire upward on terminal 'type' of the block "Variant to the data.

  When I look at the variant as an indicator, if it's a 2D painting is something like [33 x 236], see if the table is a table 1 d I see something like [256], but is it possible to tell by program if I'm dealing with a table 1 d or 2D array? Sorry if I'm missing something obvious.

  If you have a tab control that has 3 legs for example, I wonder how do you determine if the 3rd tab is selected?  For example, I would use that a True/False Boolean output according to the 3rd tab is selected... If the tab is selected, the Boolean value is true, otherwise false then.  I guess it has to do with the creation of a property of the tab control node, but I'm not sure that would apply to this situation.  Any help would be appreciated.

  A tab page has a terminal on the block diagram which can be read and checked to see if a specific tab is selected. See the code below. It is the best way to do what you want to do.
