• Develop module is slow and graphically glitchy

  I just installed Lightroom 6.1.1 (I'm very used to Lightroom 3) and I see some bad behavior from the develop module. Here is a short series of steps that summarizes my experience:

  1. Open a photo in the develop module.
  2. Press the right arrow key to go to the next photo, which takes more time at the point 6.1.1 as 3.
  3. Press 'R' to open the superimposition of cultures. It takes up to a second to load, as opposed to loading instantly in version 3. While it is loading, the * previously posted picture * appears on the screen and then disappears when the overlay is ready. It is clearly a bug.
  4. Press 'R' to close the overlay. Yet once again, the wrong photo appears temporarily as the overlay is closed.
  5. Press the right arrow once again, return to step 2.

  The slow, which I can cope, but not the glitches. I have a Lenovo X 1 carbon with all latest updates of Windows (from Microsoft) and the updated driver (from Lenovo) installed. Any ideas?

  Found the problem: the GPU acceleration is *. Once I turned it off, everything returned to normal.

  Ive had this machine for almost 3 years, it was fine for the first two, but now that it does become a chore.
  I only really ever use it to surf the internet and upload pictures and its main problem is the use of the internet.
  Images and web pages are extremely slow to load even on a good fast wired connection. Ive had the computer restored by a local store who claimed they reset the map graphic, but in reality they probably just restored to the factory under the toshiba bloatware.
  It worked fine for 2 days, then became slow again, im glad this is not a virus or malware related problem.
  Just wondering realistic if we can do something with it, or is it better to forget everything and move on to something new.
  Its been updated level to windows 10, but the problem existed on 8 too.

  Try an update of Windows to reinstall Windows.
  Pilots precedents or browser plugins can be the cause of the problem

• Exceptional slow to load images in LR cc last on imac

  Hi everyone knows about this problem?  HELPPPPPPPPPPPP @!

  I recently joined the photographer cc Adobe package and downloaded the latest versions of these two CC PS & LR CC. PS is fine but LR is now virtually unusable when you try to download from my CF card, which has never been a problem with LR5

  It now takes an age to download too.

  I tried several different CF cards all with the same questions.

  I swore to the MAC that has not solved the problem either

  I checked the box that allows the graphics card to use in a way I don't understand caused problems, no difference.

  I increased the memory still the same 15 MB cache.

  My system is an Imac running maximum of 16 RAM. All other programs etc on it will work perfectly without any problems. I have download more than 1000 images on a marriage and cannot afford this kind of error, its all simply not acceptable in the edition of these amounts on a regular basis.

  Please, please can someone offer me a robust resolution.

  Could you please check and make sure you have the latest version of Lightroom installed on your computer, 2015.6.

  Also are you face only when importing from CF card, have you try to copy the map images in a folder, and then import the file?

• While in the develop Module, when I type 'g' I get sent to the library Module every time.

  The foregoing makes simultaneous editing of developing impossible.

  I can't synchronize changes in images or any other big changes.  My operating system, Windows 7, is up to date.  This function of the grid used to work properly.  Thank you!

  Perhaps I was misled on having been able to see the display of the grid in the develop Module?  Maybe I was just doing my simultaneous changes of several images (while in the develop Module) using just the film inside of Lightroom?

• Cannot access the Lightroom Develop module more

  My copy of long-standing, personal to Lightroom, I cannot use the Module to develop more.  Now, I get the message: "develop module is disabled.  If please restart Lightroom and connect to the creative cloud. ' Why?  I do not know.  I've never subscribed to the creative cloud.

  The biggest problem is that there is no way to access the creative cloud even if I restart Lightroom.  No CC box does rise.

  I just want to be able to reuse my Lightroom program.

• Base Panel disappeared from the develop module.  5.7 Mac OS 10.10.1 LR control I tried clicking on the headers of panels that is always there.  Don't get a pop up list.  Can not find the way to restore.  What should I do?

  Base in the development model Panel no longer appears.  Began this afternoon.  Use LR 5 since its release.  No problem before today.  Searched the forums and has not developed the control, click module headers.  List of control does not appear.  What should I do next?  I did a restore of Time machine, but nothing has changed.

  In the develop Module, go to the window menu in Lightroom (it's between the view and the aid), select panels, select Basic.

• Lightroom CC slow to preload images in develop module

  I know that with the version the most recent 2015.6, Adobe has included the preload next previous 2 2 pictures and I think to get the fastest photos in the develop module.

  I must say that I have noticed the change immediately. I also noticed that on my old computer it would be after about 25 images. I would then have to restart LR and he would be back for fast loading of the next image. Recently, I've built a brand new computer with a fast SSD super m2 drive for starting and one for my LR catalog and files.

  GTX 1080 graphic card. Super fast system. Yet once the pre-load works very well but this time for about 50 images before it would go back up to the 2-3 seconds, switch between the photos. Fresh bunch of LR would be an almost instant switch of images.

  This seems to be an obvious bug as it appears just that LR is not clear the memory cache for the images and make more.

  Everyone I have a problem or find a way to make the quick pre-loading of images last for the entire session?

  It is of course not necessarily a hardware thing as my current system is quite sharp.

  If I am alone then I suppose to submit that a bug report will do much good.

• Lightroom CC freezes on loading the second image in the develop module

  I use Lightroom CC on Windows 10 (recently updated to Win7). When I start LR, I can only load an image in the develop module. When the attempt to load the second image, LR is just froze. I left on for an hour now.

  Here are the steps I've taken so far:

  • Restarted LR.
  • Restarted Windows
  • Uninstalled and reinstalled LR.
  • Run LR as administrator.

  None of these steps has made a difference.

  Manually disable the graphics processor in Lr

  1. Go to C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Preferences\Lightroom 6/CC Preferences.agprefs (Appdata is hidden folder)
  2. Right-click on the Preferences.agprefs from Lightroom 6 > open with Notepad
  3. Change the following line: useAutoBahn = true to the useAutoBahn next = false
  4. Save and close the file Lightroom 6 Preferences.agprefs
  5. Restart Lightroom CC/6.

• Move image image in the develop module slowed down considerably in the last version of LR

  I am a user of long date LR and use a fast PC Win10 (32 GB DDR4 RAM, SSD, GT 740 video discs, CPU i7 etc.) and the last LR update (or is this the one just before it) has radically changed the speed I can go from one image to the image in the develop module.

  I read about a memory leak problem but with 32 GB DDR4 memory 2133 speed I never noticed the RAM usage (perhaps 25%?) so I don't think that is the question.  Something has changed in LR and Adobe to remedy.  The downturn is really affecting my work and I make my living in this way! Adobe, please help us!

  Try to uncheck the option preferences > performance > CPU graph use.

• Lightroom Develop module turns dark, grey and non-exposed images

  Why when Lightroom loads images (to develop the module), all images in the grey and dark towers (the preview looks perfect - planned exhibition and full color). All settings are set to 0, no automatic agreement or presets are applied.

  Also, when I take pictures (Nikon D4), they looks good on the screen of my back and I'd guess D4 knows how to calculate exposure. But in Lightroom, they all come out at least 1 full stop not exposed, so after exposure setting, I had unnecessary noise grain (and work).

  I even tried to download Nikon View NX (software for Nikon transfers) initially thought, because I was hoping that after importing the files to Lightrooms I will also get color camera settings (such as landscape, Portrait, Vivid, etc.).

  What could something couse him like that?

  P.S. It's screanshoot - Lightroom loads/process images that they all be so dark as the selected image. All the neighbors sunflowers are the same, and they was that I expected to be... Previously, they turn dark...

When I'm in the 'development' module, I get random stains of color in my images. This only occurs in the develop module and no where else. It also does not reach any other software or area on my pc. I also changed the cable and the same triesd another monitor. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you.

  Are patches of red and blue color?

  If so, you probably have warnings of cutting of light/shadow enabled. Press J to hide them.

  You can also activate their power by clicking on the arrows up left and right of the histogram.

  Salient facts cut medium red, medium blue clipped shadows.

  I use Lightroom CC 6.1 on a laptop. Some time ago, Lightroom startet showing the main image to develop module in a way that only appear in color, almost like a type of the histogram display.   Also try:

  • Go to Lightroom > Preferences.
  • Also please go to preferences > Performance tab and uncheck the box "use graphics processor.
  • Restart Lightroom and see if it works.

• Can't see the image develop Module

  I import my pictures and when I go to develop the module, the picture looks washed out, it, faded and nonexistent. I have rebooted, cleared temp and still have the same result. This only happens in the develop module. All other modules show image correctly.
