  We have an airport extreme connected generation via Ethernet to a switch that provides network access to our entire House (about 10-15 connections) via wifi access points all Ethernet hard wired (linksys + apple) and a direct wire to a PC. Airport extreme is the dhcp and is connected to a gpon fiber using PPPoE.

  You describe a known problem with Back to My Mac which first appeared around July 13.   A 'solution' refers to those who have set up their base stations for Back to My Mac. If you did, how to follow recommended action is temporarily remove or disable this option, as follows:

  • Run the AirPort Utility.
  • Select the base and then station, select change.
