Device ZEN CREATIVE MP3 PLAYER
I lost the installation of the MICRO DRIVER to download to my MP3 player - I had trouble to download and deleted the program ZEN Creative and reloaded the instruction of basic part of reloading programs installation disc, but it says education Micro Driver has NOT been installed I'm going along in circles can anyone tell please how to get just the driver's instructions. First of all, thanks a lot for taking the time to help me.
After having tried everything you have suggested and have no chance and then by searching the Microsoft sites, Dell and SanDisk, I finally found a very simple solution that worked.
Thought I would pass it for any future reference.
The SanDisk site said to try this:

I have not hooked to my mp3 player up to my netbook in age, but today I wanted to manage my songs I did. Media Player recognized my camera (Sansa c240), but it that there are no files on my device. It scared me because I had listened to just the day before and there was a lot of files on it! I checked the drive itself and the files were all still there. Media Player told to sync files on the device, so I did and it successfully on the device. However, even though the songs were synchronized with the device, Media Player still insists that there is no top file! I checked the player and 3 files synchronize had were there. Help!

I don't know if the problem is with the device or Media Player, but every time I try to sync music from my library on my camera it comes up with the message; "It is not possible to get the certificate to the device. Contact the device manufacturer for a firmware update or other measures to address this problem." I contacted the manufacturer of the device, but they couldn't help. HI, I have a Creative Zen MP3 player. I installed the program from the cd, and also on the creative site. But I get "PSG could start" and my laptop cannot identify my drive. The drive works fine in another laptop with windows 7 in there.

MP3 player and KB 928439 fails to install - error code 80070005

I recently had a problem with Vista Home Premium SP2 suddenly refuse to recognize my Creative Zen MP3 player even if the player is recharged when the unit is installed.
When I plug the Zen to a USB port it says "install the driver software for device" informed me then that "Device driver software has not been installed successfully - MTP device. This is regardless of whether I'm using a USB hub or a USB motherboard.
In Device Manager under portable devices is an MTP device with a yellow exclamation point and tells me "this device cannot start (code 10)". I offer myself to check the solutions with Microsoft. This produces nothing - a result, nor anything else besides!
The research of this forum and the net I found and tried a number of soilutions, but nothing helped. However, there is one thing that I did not try to Fixit. However, this requires Windows PowerShell and when I try to install this it requires KB 928439 and this patch do constantly moved with the error code 80070005.
Any suggestions to solve the problem of origin with the MP3 player or the installation of Windows PowerShell would be greatly appreciated.

What cell phone do you have?
The mic jack records the audio signal. But I guess you want to use the mic line-in socket. Right?
Usually, you need to set the default device in the recording tab.
In Control Panel-> sound-> recording tab.If you don't see me not all other devices but only mic jack then you must right-click and should allow the options; Show hidden devices and show disabled devices.
Maybe then, you can enable line.Otherwise, this option is not available and is not possible
