  'Alum' badges refer to the word of the ancients (as far as I know) and have been allocated specifically to people who have reached certain levels in the old scoring system.  These aren't the badges you can win in the new system of gamification, they just received in the framework of recognition of what level people reached in the old system. for example, I have a badge 'Guru Alum' because I was a 'Guru' status under the old system.  If I had not reached this level before the changes then I would never be able to get this badge now.

A few months back, I had a hard drive crash. I had to wipe the hard drive and reinstall Vista then install Windows 7. Once more, everything works great. Key agreed without any problem. Then about a week and a half, I did an upgrade to my computer. New motherboard, CPU and power supply. I installed Vista on another hard disk, loaded the drivers of the new motherboard and CPU, then installed Windows 7. The activation key has been accepted (the same I use all along) and had no problems until tonight. I'm going to be out of town for the weekend, start and I get a window saying that my version of Windows is not registered and enter the activation key. This time IT would BE NPOT ACCEPT THE KEY what is CAME WITH MY INSTALLER DISK. 3 TIMES. What gives? # ! ? The dey was good a week ago and now it isn't? What has changed while I was out of town and my computer was closed. This looks like a problem with Microsovt and Windows 7. How to get Windows 7 activated as if it was 4 days ago?

  As far as I know it of not possible to disable the keyboard. With the FN + F9 key combination, you can disable only features of Notepad, but not the keyboard. You can try to connect the external keyboard. If the same problem still images, then you should get you BONES with the recovery CD.

  You should not be asked for a product key because you used the factory reset to reinstall Windows 8.

  1. press the Windows key + X , and then clickrun, and then type: slui.exe 4

  
  

  2. then press the ENTER"" key.

  3. Select your "country" in the list.

  4. choose the option "activate phone".

  5. stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

  6. explain your problem clearly to the support person.

  A little update just for your information. 2 days and 5 calls later (I needed to technical management, through the population of Activation - no direct number so sometimes the transferred call didn't work!) I now have a version of Windows active :) work

  However the question turns out to be that my legitimate version (package and all disks of good mine) and it's legitimate keys used did not match exactly.

  The unused key was for a version of Windows 7 Edition product update Home Premium to Windows 7 Pro, so that's why it did not work on the new facility I was trying.

  I contacted the seller amazon to let them know about this problem as it is possible that there is a lot that is perhaps not entirely legitimate.

  Once again thanks to the MVP here and people I talked on the phone before this is resolved, I suspect that this could become a problem growing with Windows 7, as people are not super keen on 8 and 7 is a solid BONE with a little support left? So even if you pay a rate of 'good' for your Windows 7 disks, be aware that you can not get exactly what you expected, and maybe it would be nice if MS has always sold direct to counter this kind of question?
