  What is "Adobe XI" - Reader or Acrobat?

• Links in Word documents does not

  Hi - I use HTML HR, version 8.  I have a topic that uses a Word existing as a content document.  The Word document contains links to other documents. When I have the link to the Word document in HR, the links in the Word document do not work.  When I consult the heading in the generated output (MS HTML Help), there are icons where other documents are placed (these icons indicate the type of document - another Word document, an Excel doc and other).  However, when I click on the icons, no action occurs.

  When I open the Word using Word document, icons appear in Word.  When I click the icon of the other document opens.  In my opinion, that these documents were inserted as objects.

  Is there a way to get these links to function?

  When I create the topic in HR, I use 'create the copy and link '.

  Any help would be appreciated!

  I don't think that this is possible because the link function is not designed to automatically link to other documents just because the first document has links.

  Not sure if it would work if you have linked the two, even if you have kept their relationship of relative path.

• Text tearing does not correctly after the system update. Any ideas?

  For the last two days the text on my PC (Windows Vista) has not been made properly. The problem seems to apply in all programs, including IE, Chrome and Word. The text is not unreadable, it seems just to have the missing pieces of some characters. Some policies are pretty clear, others (such as courier) are very bad. The problem seemed to start after an update of the system. Unfortunately, the system restore never worked on my computer, so this isn't an option. Any ideas on how to solve this problem would be welcome.

• I use a SanDisk Cruzer with U3 Launchpad. I had to stay with Firefox v3.6.26 because no more recent data does not have the U3 Launchpad working. Any suggestions?

  OS Win7. I used this USB key for some time as a secure method to contain passwords that I use often. When I have been updated for Firefox v3 - regardless of the version which was at the time - a v4 the U3 Launchpad failed. I tried all autour work, I could find on the Internet. Nothing has been successful. I know that this software is no longer supported. If it is supported should set if it works. I think it is an unacceptable excuse. I support is no longer my daughter, but it still works. She is a much more complicated machine than a PC and a piece of software.

  Sorry, U3 versions of Firefox were not made by Mozilla. This version is a modified version of Firefox made by a 3rd party and this 3rd party is responsible for its "support. I've never used and cannot help you with it.

After having a problem with my HP printer, I contacted HP and was instructed on how to remove and uninstall the printer from my computer. After that I followed this process my computer has never been the same. For example, all of the icons in the start menu had little pictures of records instead of the icon associated with the program. Anyway, after a lot of problems, I decided that I should restore my computer to factory settings using the CD of the operating system supplied with my computer and the instruction booklet on how to do it. Now, the computer cannot connect to wireless internet. I have wireless so I can not on the internet. I get the error "this computer has no network cnfigured and installed wireless card." When before I restored it the computer with the CD of operaiting, there was no problem of wireless connection. Help, please.

  The system detects the card wireless at all?

  Hold down the Windows key and press 'R' at the same time. Type "devmgmt.msc" (without the quotes). Check if you can at least see the wireless network card.

  Or key Windows press "R", type "ncpa.cpl" (without the quotes) and see if you can see it there.

  You can also try to go to the Dell website and lifting your system via the number of Service Tag (XXXXXXX) found either on the roof of your system, or by the series at the rear or bottom tag. Here you can try to download the drivers for WLAN card and install from there.

  Just wondering if his work even at this point.
