  • What is the difference between the two forums?

Hi, I am a newbie to the forum and I was wondering what is the difference between the "Razr of Motorola Droid community" and the "community Motorla Razr" I see the links to the right side of the forum support page owners?

This means that any time you see "Droid" is on the Verizon network in the United States. The software on the Droid Razr is different from what is on the Motorola Razr, so it has a different community so that it can be better supported. I hope this helps.

  • The difference between the "All Content" and "Discussion" tabs on the new forum?

    Hello

Anyone know the difference between "All Content" and "Discussion" tabs on the new forum?  They seem to be the same.  I'm confused.

    Petey

    Petey,

If I was part of the beta update of the forum, there were certain that we could not effectively test more aspects (such as the ' Like'), that some liked it but others did not. This kind of thing happens.

In addition, now that we have the full version, and all servers are synchronized, there are probably things that beta testers not to experience. We all will learn in the process too. Also remember, much of the new forum software has been provided by Jive, and although many of us have commented (advantages and disadvantages), only a lot could be addressed. He was not quite want to do a beta on the Adobe software, like there was a full and distinct layer between the two.

So far, what I see seems close to what we have seen a few weeks (months?) ago. Now, I need to really put the real software to the test, to see what has changed from then on, until now.

    Good luck

  • Differences between Vista and Windows XP BIOS on Satellite A200 - 13 M

    Hello!

I'm new to the forum, so I apologize if already, this question has been asked.
I have a Satellite A200 - 13 M (PSAE6) with windows xp. As my computer crash, I send in the recovery and I pick it up today. I've noticed that people who fix my computer Flash the bios with the 1.70v bios for Vista...

I would like to know if they are the differences between a bios for vista and one for xp?
As I have Xp installed, can I Flash the bios with a bios designed for xp? (5.30v)

    thx a lot.

The difference between the BIOS is BIOS XP allows the FN XP keys and some other features, so the same does the Vista BIOS. There are other things of compatibility based intaglio the BIOS.

In your case, please install the BIOS for WIndows XP.

    Welcome them

  • Difference between G-20 and G-25

    Hello
I just wanted to ask if someone could help me and tell me the differences between the G-25 and the G-20.
Is it possible to watch television in Germany with the G-25?

    Hello

As far as I know that all the units with number 5 at the end (like 25 in your case) WE are the models and all TV tuners vary by country. For a long time, there was a forum user who bought the G25 and now he can't watch TV in Turkey.

  • Differences between M30 and M40/Power management

    Hello!

I own a M30x and have a problem with the power management utility run by restricted users. (XP/SP2 teacher - 1.27.2.1 Toshiba power management utility.)

A restricted user cannot access the tool and the laptop runs in mode full power if it has power supply or battery.

In this forum I read that last power of m40 tool available under a restricted user.

So, the question is clear: what is the difference between laptops m30 and m40? Can I use on my m30 m40 energy saving without trouble?

    TIA,

    Georg

    Hello George

As far as I know that the tools and utilities are not the same for each model or series laptop. The notebooks have different hardware configuration, and each tool is designed to work properly with the own series.

Optical, they are all the same or look like to, but I'm sure you may have problems using tool on your unit designed for another model of laptop.

  • Differences between Satellite 5100-201 & 5100 603

    Hello

The user guide is not clarify the differences between the models S5100-201 and S5100-603.
I can work on them are different speeds, memory and hard drive, but what about the internal bits?

I have a model 603 broke with a power control fault. Does anyone know if a model-201 motherboard will enter unity of 603?

    Thank you
    Pete

    Hello

I am not a technician, but I found the info that these units have a different graphics card and the two can't handle with RAM max.

    Satellite 5100-201:
    -nVidia GeForce4 440Go 32 MB
-can handle with max 512 MB RAM

    Satellite 5100 603:
    -nVidia GeForce4 440Go 64 MB
-can handle with max 1024 MB of RAM

I'm not 100% sure, but if you swap the Mo together with all hardware, I think that other devices should work, but I put t know how it will work with the BIOS. Maybe the DMI should be rewritten.

There are little guys having very good knowledge on this forum, and I hope that some of them will be post here and say more about it.

  • What are the differences between TNT5002 and TNT5004

    Hello

I am the design of an interface card that will include two controllers GPIB (TNT5002) who will work on PCIe via PEX8112 (PCIe to PCI bridge) and have several questions on the forum:

    1. I use TNT5004 on their advice, but only offer tnt5002 purchase, what are the differences between them?
    2. Are there other relevant chips best suited to implement PCIe two interface GPIB?

    Danny

The technical reference manual can be found here:

    http://www.NI.com/PDF/manuals/370595b.PDF

I wasn't able to find reference material for this chip models. If there is, it's probably only for the GPIB to PCI.

    Hi Mwong,

Thanks for the post and I hope that your well today - welcome to the Forums of NOR.

I'm sorry to see that you have not yet received any support.

Looking at the site, ni.com, here, I found this information,

Specifications and manufacturers for Council mating of connectors

    http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/8ECF4BAD615F18BC8625648400521E97

    (1) 4 piece Kit of screws for connection cables 187949-01 locking screw

    (10) 4 piece Kit of screws for connection cables 187949-10 locking screw

That is why the differences between the 01 and 10 is the number of kits.

    However the link here.

Specifications and Dimensions of the female connectors to screws used on 68 pins plug-in connectors

    http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/43771DBD89FADB7B86256BC90053EC08

"The kit contains 40 screws and washers (enough to convert the two ends of the).
10 sets of cables). The part number of the kit is 187949-01 "

But I guess that goes back to were you waiting for 1 or 10 sets?

    I hope this helps.

  • HP OfficeJet Pro 6960: Differences between inkjet cartridges

What is the difference between HP 903 (standard or XL) inkjet cartridges and HP 934/935 XL?  Just had to buy a new printer through a hardward on that failure which was only 13 months old.  The old used HP 934 / 935. They are exactly the same except with different numbers and are exactly the same way and using the same method.

The 934/935 HP would allow instead of the 903 HP without damaging the settlement 6960 as I had just installed some new HP 934/935 in the defunct printer?

    Hello

Thank you for using the HP Forums.

No, the cartridges are designed for a particular printer.  It cannot be used in another printer that uses a number of different cartridge.

    Hope that helps!

  • Difference between the scale of gray and black and white adjustment

    Hello

I just want to know the difference between black and white and grey adjustment of scale when printing text only, and which uses less ink. Thank you

    Hi jexee55,

I see that you would like to know the difference between grey and printing b & w.
I'll be happy to help you.

Basically, it prints in shades of gray.

    Save on ink also.

You can change the setting in the print in grayscale driver.

You would go into the Printers folder.
Right-click on the printer, on the left, click printer properties.
    Click the paper/quality tab.
Click on the button to advance down.
Select the characteristics of the printer and enable or disable this gray scale.

If you want to print a black and white document using black ink only, do one of the following according to
your operating system. Depending on which printer you have.
On Windows: Open the printer software, click on set preferences. On the paper/quality tab, click
Advanced. Select black ink only in printing in grayscale in the drop-down list under printer
    Features.

    I hope this helps.

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums.
    Have a great day.

  • What is the difference between the VI of the histogram and the General histogram VI?

    Hello

I did a google search and forum for this and came up empty. I would like to know if there should be a difference in how the work of both?

I ask because I gave exactly the same table both X and was two different results, unless I also specified the interval bins / # to be equal for each of them. (level for the VI histogram and #bins for the general histogram VI)

It also means I want to know the difference between the intervals and #bins? They are the same thing with different names just?

It's more of a general idea on how the two screws work to obtain a specific solution to a problem, anyway, so any help is appreciated

    Thanks in advance.

    Pladio wrote:

Thank you. No idea why the same data would give different histograms when the specification is not garbage?

    Yes.

The normal VI, if you do not connect the entry "interval", will give you 10 bins, becaue that entry is set by default to 10.

The advanced VI, if you do not connect the "#bins" of entry, will give you a number of bins from comment how are made, or the size of the incomming table. This number is 1 + 3.3 log n, where n is the size of the array. This is called rule of Sturges, and is more or less explained in the programming of this VI. Open it and look at it.

  • Pavilion 10-n102ne: difference between the Pavilion 10-n102ne and 10-n102na

I want to order a cover for my device (Pavilion 10-n102ne), but did not, on the contrary, I think I found a similar device (10-n102na), so I was wondering what is the difference between these 2 models, not vs na, what it means. The recovery kit works on my device.

What is the differnce between Recovery Kit or by creating a windows recovery disk, and which should I choose if I want to completely format the system and install another OS?

Another question is that how do I backup my Windows 10 activation, or is it when I install freshly a Windows 10 the appliance will automatically activate windows? is the serial imprented into bios?

    Awaiting your response

    @ChristopherED
Welcome to the Forums of HP,
    I hope you're well

If I understand correctly you want to know about the difference between the Pavilion 10-n102ne and 10-n102na.

Here is the link with the characteristics of the two products (spot the difference):

    HP Pavilion x 2-10-n102na
    HP Pavilion x 2-10-n102ne

It is not very different between the recovery kit or one created by your computer apart from the type of creation, if the media created on your computer do not work you can always get one from HP, but you cannot create a new computer because it allows only a creation of media recovery on your computer.

And the answer to your question about activation, you are right, that the activation code is printed/saved to BIOS if you do not have an option to save as.

If I helped you to solve the problem, feel free to give me a virtual h.o.t. by clicking on the 'Thumbs Up' icon below.
Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.  Have a great day!
    Kind regards
