Difference between House and smart call home.

To my knowledge.

Call home - configure the SMTP server and do a few other configuration, which can allow be to send emails to the recipients you want for all gravity.

Home - Smart call striving to reach the registry auto TAC for severity level.

Is this correct?

I just read the configuration guide and did not understand the importance of the priority of switching...

Shyam,

You're right about your understanding of the difference between CH and SCH.

Sometimes the only way to upgrade is to do a clean install,

What are the differences between RT and Win 8 Pro?

Windows 8 - this runs on processors traditional x 86 - x 64 for Intel and AMD, and the same apps that runs on Windows 7, Vista, and Windows XP.

Windows RT - built on the same basis as Windows 8, it works on a different processor called ARM and not running programs in Windows 7, Vista, or Windows XP. In addition, it comes with Microsoft Office 2013 while Windows 8 does not work. It only comes on the new devices, in contrast to Windows 8 you can buy a license for an existing computer.

  • Difference between 'Form' and 'object '.

I am writing today a guide in my native language and want to understand the difference between 'Object' and 'Form' for Illustrator. We have menu object in the Panel and can find a few options of forms under this menu.

Also we program this object is:

In computing, an object can be a variable, a data structure, a function or a methodand as such, is a location in memory value and possibly referenced by an identifier.

In class-based object-oriented programming paradigm, 'object' refers to an instance of a class where the object can be a combination of data structures, functions, and variables.

Relational database management, an object can be a table or column or an association between data and entity of database (such as the age of a person concerning a particular person). [1]

So my question is: If we create a form in artificial intelligence can we call it 'object' and vs. ?

There is menu item "Create object mosaic" option which works only with raster images. This is why any other object in artificial intelligence is not object?

    Thank you

"In illustrator is an 'Application based on the objects' any item placed in the drawing area that you can select is called" object "where as".

a form is an object of two dimension.

We could say : each form is an object , BUT not every object is a form.

  • Difference between AL32UTF8 and UTF8

    Hello

Our current database version is 10g with CHARSET = UTF8 to support Greek characters. However, the customer wants to switch to 11g (11.2.0.4.0) and the database of test created with CHARSET = AL32UTF8.

Up to now to insert Greek characters, we have been offering script mentioning set NLS_LANG = AMERICAN_AMERICA. UTF8 and he has been inserting Greek characters correctly. However, it does not work with the new machine. If this setting, execution of the script gives error for the Greek characters "quoted string not properly done".

    I have two questions here:

    (1) is there a difference between UTF8 and AL32UTF8?

    (2) settings NLS_LANG works on character set of database right? What setting I put for NLS_LANG allowing to insert Greek characters or script windows or linux machine to run?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

    Answered below:

-Oracle UTF8 is Unicode 3.0 revision in 8.1.7 and upward. AL32UTF8 is updated with Unicode versions in each major release, Oracle RDBMS 12.1 it is updated to Unicode 6.1,

Apart from the difference in Unicode version the "big difference" between UTF8 and AL32UTF8 AL32UTF8 has build in support for "Additional characters", which are coded using "Surrogate pairs" (also wrongly called ' surrogate characters"'").

Oracle UTF8 (Unicode 3.0) stores additional characters in the form of 2 characters, for a total of 6 bytes, using "modified UTF-8" instead of the "standard UTF - 8"(implemented in Oracle 9.2 and upward using AL32UTF8) 4 bytes for an extra character.

This "modified UTF-8' is also called CESU-8 .

Practically, this means that in 99% of UTF8 and AL32UTF8 data are the same for * storage * data. Only the additional characters differ in bytes/codes stored between UTF8 and AL32UTF8.

    -the necessary parameters are:

    LANG = el_gr. UTF8

    LC_ALL = el_GR.utf8

    NLS_LANG = 'GREEK_GREECE. AL32UTF8.

  • JavaScript - the difference between ' window ' and 'document.'?

    Hello

I'm a Javascript newbie which ended just by the first screen of Captivate (CP9) (HTML5) using Javascript.

A slide with several text entry areas (TEBs) and a Submit button, which performs a function to validate the TEBs (thank you David for have started me).

I call the function in the script of the Submit button window and have Javascript code in the Index file.

In the Javascript code, I used the ' windows ' and 'document '. (don't know if I've used them correctly but the works of Javascript)

I don't really know the difference between them.

In Javascript, I know that window is loaded in the browser first, then the document is loaded in the window.

It's like the window is your browser window and the document is the HTML page inside.

Also, you can use each of them to access specific properties - and window has a context.

    Some examples of my javascript:

    • window.cpAPIInterface.setVariableValue ("q1_fback", "");         -erase a message of feedback (text of legend with variable) associated with BER
    • document.getElementById("Text_Entry_Box1_inputField").style.border = 'solid red medium. "  -modification of the border of an object invalid BER (red)

    My question is:

    1. What is the difference between ' window ' and "document." in a context of Captivate?

I will post you more questions to find out how:

1 use loops to knock down my code

2 reuse the same function in other slides

    Concerning

    Donal.

    Your assumptions are correct.

the cpAPIInterface is in the window.

The Text_Entry_Box1_inputField is in the document, not the window, but you can use:

    window.document.getElementById("Text_Entry_Box1_inputField").style.border = 'solid red medium. "

Scope of variables depends on how and when they are declared, and it is generally best to limit their scope and not use them globally in the window object. All seem to be available in the cPs variables window.

  • Difference between flow and stolen

    Hello
can you please tell me difference between flow and stolen

    Thank you
    Nirmal

    See: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B31017_01/integrate.1013/b28981/parallel.htm

flow will be to use a pre-defined () amount of branches, with flight you can do the amount of dynamic branches

    So let's say we have

    getUserDetails
    getAddressDetails

now, you can use streams, create 2 branches and make the call to both methods in each branch.

Let's say that you receive a list of customers in your service interface. Now, you can loop through with-foreach each customer and sequential not logic like Getcustomerdetails in the loop, or... .you create a flight and N is the number of clients in the list.

After that, you will get N parallel branches that will make Getcustomerdetails (instead of the other sequential loop)

This fly is the dynamic Variant that will create N branches according to the Counter field you base your expression on

  • What is the difference between EPMA and Essbase Studio

If the two are not used to design applications?

And a really need Essbase Studio?
What is the difference between EPMA and Essbase Studio

^ ^ ^ It's a little confusing, isn't? As far as I understand the role of EPMA, it is a way to share dimensions and common data between several products Oracle EMP including Planning, Essbase and HFM. In fact, I don't know if other products live in EPMA. What is EPMA not have is a great way to supply or manipulate the dimension and fact tables (or files). Oh, there are tables of the interface, but you will write the code/use the utility of dimension EPMA to load dimensions. I must say that I never tried to load through EPMA data so that someone else will have to pronounce on it. Once the dimensions are built, you can deploy Essbase (and other products) of common and specific to the database dimensions.

Studio is the tool you will use to go against a data warehouse, or something terribly close a data warehouse to build Essbase databases. Just for Essbase - HFM, planning, etc. are not the targets of the Studio release.

What gets confusion / intriguing, is that when EPMA deploy Essbase apps, it uses Studio under the covers to do. So the interesting implementations where people use Studio (which is much more flexible than EPMA because it is a development tool as opposed to a dimension/data management application) to read the tables, EPMA interface (and as far as I know, the EPMA base tables) and create Essbase applications like that.

If you think that there is overlap, I agree with you, but you can see that they are not the same.

And a really need Essbase Studio?

^ ^ ^ Do not use Studio to build Essbase databases. You can go hog wild in EAS with loading SQL rules if you want, even if at some point it will be probably easier and simpler to build in the Studio. Although the Studio has been mentioned as the replacement of EAS for awhile, I suspect the effort required to build a database in Studio will keep around for quite a while EAS or Studio Lite will be out. There is a lot to say (sometimes) for the incredible flexibility EAS/Essbase-Studio requires a more methodical approach and EPMA has a very formal set of standards and methods.

Phew, I'm sorry, I wrote a book on this subject and I bet you get a lot of differences of opinion on that.

If you are interested in the Studio, you could do well to take a copy of 'Look smarter than you are with Oracle Essbase Studio 11' of Glenn Schwartzberg. I don't get a penny from the sale while I was among the writers of copy (Hey, I got a mention in the acknowledgements). It's a good book and an excellent introduction to the tool.

  • Difference between ADFFacesContext and FacesContext object?

    Hello
Whatz the difference between ADFFacesContext and FacesContext object?

    Stratum FRO mthe docs:

    ADFFacesContext:
A context object that exists largely as a mirror for the Apache Trinidad RequestContext, but also provides APIs specific to ADF Faces.

    RequestContext Apache Trinidad:
The context class information by request and by webapp required by Trinidad. A RequestContext object can be retrieved with the method static getCurrentInstance(). There is a single and same RequestContext object active in any thread.
This class does not extend FacesContext; This is intentional, which stretches from FacesContext requires support for the FacesContextFactory.

    FacesContext:
FacesContext contains all status information by related request processing of a single application of JavaServer Faces and rendering of the corresponding response. He went to and potentially modified by, each phase of the lifecycle processing request.
A FacesContext instance is associated with a specific request at the beginning of the treatment, by a call to the method getFacesContext() of the FacesContextFactory instance associated with the web application current demand. The instance remains active until its release() method is called, after which no further reference to this instance is allowed. When a FacesContext instance is active, it must not be referenced from any thread other than the one on which the servlet container that is running this web application uses to process this request.

  • Difference between Oracle and Prometric test center?

What is the difference between Oracle and Prometric Testing Center?

Pass the examination in a CTA is exactly the same as the exam at Prometric. The review is exactly the same and it's exactly the same thing. The only difference is the location where the examination is taken, so I believe that over-the-counter medications have set schedules to offer tests, take exams at Prometric can give you a little more freedom to your schedule.

    Answers to the questions:
can you any valid CTA agent/Center in kolkata? Then I will be very grateful
-You should go to www.oracle.com/education and you can search on the keywords "certification" or "OTC test"
    - Or you can call your local representative of OU. You can find your local numbers to http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=225
-Please note that if you are in North America, your search for OTC drugs will not return any results. Over-the-counter medications are not available in North America.

Https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keyboard-shortcuts-perform-firefox-tasks-quickly#w_navigation, what is the difference between 'Reload' and "Reload (Override Cache)"? What makes "ignore cache"?

Reloading Web pages and cache bypass aims to obtain a new copy of perhaps obsolete or damaged files currently stored in the disk cache.
You can do it like the first attempt if a normal charging does not seem to provide a version of a Web site or if you are having problems with a Web site otherwise.

We usually have advice that if you have questions:

Reload Web pages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

    • Hold down the SHIFT key and click the Reload button
    • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
    • Press 'Command + shift + R' (Mac)

Clear the cache and delete cookies only from Web sites that cause problems.
    "Clear the Cache":

    • Firefox/tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

    'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

    • Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if an extension or theme (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problems.

    Hi Danesh,

You should take a look at this article for an explanation. Plugins and extensions are essentially types of Add-ons as well as of the characters and themes.
