  • U3014, the difference between CAL1 and CAL2 modes?

In the preset mode color space for U3014 30 "monitor, what is the difference between CAL1 and CAL2? I tried both, but couldn't say a diff.  I know they are both precalibre mode that comes with the monitor.  Any info will be appreciated.

    course at 100%.

Look, in these internal calibration of monitors's done it with a 3DLUT. The native range is greater than AdobeRGB (in red).
Standard and modes Custom comes with native and native range WhitePoint (GBLED whitepoint, colder than D65 native), custom mode allows yo to set your desired white point.
At the factory, 2 calibrations are stored in LUT3D and they are NOT editable by the users (but can be corrected by GPU):
AdobeRGB: R, G & B coordinated (especially red coordinated), white point, and gamma of 2.2. 2nd is not very accurate.
sRGB: R, G & B coordinated, white point gamma and sRGB. 2nd is not very accurate.

AND as typical, monitor allows yo to store values of x LUT3D 2: CAL1 and CAL2 but it only works with the Dell Solution of Calibration color (DA), and DA only works them with i1DisplayPro.
CAL1 and CAL2 are just "USER SLOTS" for the storage of LUT3D calibrations, nothing more.
To the factory settings, they should behave in Standard mode.

  • CDC: Difference between coherent and Simple mode?

    Hello

I would like to know if anyone can explain the main differences between the two modes of the CDC?

In fact, we are interested in implementing a DCC ODI asynchronous Oracle newspaper.
But we would like to make sure that it matches our needs.

I understand that the simple mode is on a table and the consistent on several articulated together.
    But my questions are:

-Could we choose to log table for only some of the columns.
-> If in my table, I'm not interested in the change of some columns, I can 'say' to the CDC do not watch?
or the CDC can tell me which column had been updated?

-in fact, I would like to know what is the difference between Simple and consistent? and if the mode is just a Simple mode for more than one table?
Cause, we need to know what the source columns had been updated for each record, not only the primary key of the record being updated.

I know that Oracle CDC allows it, but I don't know if ODI enable us to see only the columns that have been updated.

    Thanks in advance

    Brice

    Hi Brice,.

AFAIK for a coherent CDC referential integrity must be set at the level DB (PK, FK).
Personally I have never used any logical key, so I'd rather hear for a few experienced comments.

    Thank you
    Fati

  • Difference between Routed and Transperant mode on firewall

    Hello

Can someone explain how Routed and transperant on Cisco ASA in simple words...

The main difference is transparent and works routed layer 3 to layer 2.

When the ASA is in routed mode, the networks connected to the ASA on two interfaces must be on different subnets.  While in transparent mode, the subnets can be the same.

Mode routed, as its name suggests, the packets are routed between the interfaces.  In transparent mode, interfaces are bridged so the package is transferred instead of routed (although the inspection and control of the ACL still take place).

  • What is the difference between standby and off mode?

We would like to know what is the Stand of an ESX 4.0 host?

Is there a difference whether it is in Stand By mode or he was arrested?  I guess the only difference is that an ESX host mode ensure can be started upward with VIC while the judgment cannot?

    Thank you

Roughly, when the host is in standby mode, it is always in a power off State but you can power it on via WOL (Wake on LAN). The mainly usage case with this feature is integration with VMware DRS and VMware DPM (Distributed Power Management) which allows the cluster hosts to stop that are not actively used to save on power, once it detects a higher load, it will emit power up to guests who are in standby mode after the load.

Here is an article shows you how to configure DPM to your hosts: http://itknowledgeexchange.techtarget.com/virtualization-pro/configuring-distributed-power-management/

  • Hi I am new to Oracle forms and reports I want to know the differences between the Enter query mode and Normal mode?

Hi I am new to Oracle forms and reports I want to know the differences between the Enter query mode and Normal mode?

Welcome to Oracle Forms!  Out of curiosity, what do you mean by 'new '?  You are a student or new to an organization that uses Oracle Forms?  Or just play with Oracle Forms to learn something new?

Let me start by saying that many of your questions designtime can answer by searching in the help of the constructor of the form library.  It's accessible, like most of the other products in the Builder menu > help.

Regarding your question, ENTER QUERY mode, as the term implies, is when it is in a State where it is accept input for the execution of a query.  When in this mode, there are various restrictions.  Yet once, it will find more details in the Builder Help.  In this case, search help for these two subjects, "SYSTEM." MODE'and "built-ins comments that are not allowed in the input query Mode".  There are many other pages that contain information about the ENTER_QUERY method, but these two should help you get started.

Normal mode, as its name implies, is when it is in a State of 'normal '.  Basically to do nothing in particular, but also not in ENTER QUERY mode.  In this State, you can move the shape, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, documents, etc..

You will find additional information, as well as a lot of documentation on the product page of forms of OTN:

  • Difference between 'Reload' and "Reload (Override Cache)"?

Https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keyboard-shortcuts-perform-firefox-tasks-quickly#w_navigation, what is the difference between 'Reload' and "Reload (Override Cache)"? What makes "ignore cache"?

Reloading Web pages and cache bypass aims to obtain a new copy of perhaps obsolete or damaged files currently stored in the disk cache.
You can do it like the first attempt if a normal charging does not seem to provide a version of a Web site or if you are having problems with a Web site otherwise.

We usually have advice that if you have questions:

Reload Web pages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

    • Hold down the SHIFT key and click the Reload button
    • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
    • Press 'Command + shift + R' (Mac)

Clear the cache and delete cookies only from Web sites that cause problems.
    "Clear the Cache":

    • Firefox/tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

    'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

    • Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if an extension or theme (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problems.

  • What is the difference between Bridge and Lightroom?  Should I have them both?

What is the difference between Bridge and Lightroom?  Should I have them both?

    Hi MyYawrood,

If you plan to expand your files only camera raw, then no, you don't need both. Camera Raw, which bridge lance when you select a raw in Bridge file has the same characteristics as Lightroom.

That's where the similarity ends, however. Bridge is a file browser. You can organize and view the files on your hard drives connected. Bridge knows nothing about files that are not connected. Bridge can preview more Adobe files, regardless of the type of file and is a 'bridge' between applications. It will show also the icons for other types of files created in any application. Lightroom creates a database of a few image formats and knows about them, even if the disk they are on is in offline mode. It cannot handle most types of file formats, however. Lightroom has a robust for print production and publication Center. Bridge doesn't. Lightroom also has Mobile of Lightroom to make some fundamental changes to the photos on your phone or tablet. Bridge doesn't.

So if you need both depends on what you do on your computer. I absolutely use Bridge / Camera Raw/Photoshop and Lightroom/Lightroom Mobile.

  • Difference between SYSDBA and DBA

    Hi all

Could someone tell me the difference between SYSDBA and DBA. I'm confused...

    Thank you
    Nagi

DBA is a combination of roles and privileges, and it is a ROLE.
SYSDBA is a system privilege which grants the user to the start/stop/create/drop/backup of database.

In addition, SYSOPERs can not create or drop database. Also a DBA may not stop the database but may import or export complete database.

There are other things to mention, but please refer to the Oracle documentation.

    It will be useful,

    Ogan

  • Difference between (minidump) and (memory.dmp)?

    Separated from this thread.

is there a difference between (minidump) and (memory.dmp) I use windows 10

The main difference is size. Memory dumps are larger and contain a bit more information.

In most situations, it is best to configure the computer to produce a dump of memory the kernel in case of system failure. A complete memory dump is a very large file to manage so it is more convenient to work with kernel images of memory when you try to resolve the blue screen errors.

I suggest that you change your dump file settings to produce an image kernel memory. Select the hotkey Win + X , Control Panel, system, advanced system settings, Advanced tab, and click the button settings to start recovery. Under system failure, select the checkboxes before to write an event to the system log and restart automatically. Change the option Write debugging information by using the scroll to the right for image kernel memory. Click OK , and in the next window, click apply and OK. Restart your computer to apply the changes.

  • What is the difference between OCÉ and (OCP and OCS)

What is the difference between ECAS and (OCP or OCS).

For example, I heard that OCS helps with the language

and the marketing of a product.

Could this be true as ECAS focuses on how to do things.

and not so much things to a much higher level.

For example, how do you set up, how you use it, how do you start, etc.

    Thank you Roger

    Roger,

OCÉ Doghouse more. These certifications can be more CERT of intermediate or high level certificates. These were specifically developed for the gaps in the certification that did not match our OCA, OCP, hierarchy of the CMO.

Generally, the CERT of the OCS tend to focus more on implementation. These certificates have been developed for the Oracle PartnerNetwork for areas of certification which specifically serve Oracle partners and qualify them for levels of specialization. These certifications are available for all candidates, but are directed towards members of OPN.

    I hope this helps.
