Differences in hardware between Portege M700 and M750

I have about 40 Porteges a mix between M700 and M750, I need to know the differences of hardware and driver between the two for the purpose of Ghosting.

I think the only difference is that the M700 uses the chipset Intel Santa Rosa (9xx series), and the M750 uses the newer Montevina (4 x series) chipset.

If you need to install a utility/driver Intel Chipset that supports both chipsets.

    Hi all

I installed Windows 7 RC on my Portege M700, and everything was fine, except:

    -Intel(r) Management Engine Interface (show on the device as a PCI Simple Communications controller Manager);
-Novatel Mobilink to the Novatel Wireless Broadband (3G HSDPA) SM-Bus minicards Modem integrated (EU870D) (list on the device as 4 Interfaces of data manager).

I used the drivers on Windows 7
    http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com/cgi-bin/TAIS/support/JSP/modelContent.jsp?CT=DL&OS=&category=&MOID=1927814& rpn = PPM70U & modelFilter = & SelCategorie = 3 & selFamily = 10 73768662 and all fine wenf.

I even managed to get the drivers for the Modem from Novatel minimap from a previous version and accepted Device Manager.
    But when I try to install the v2.02.27 from Novatel MobiLink available [here: http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=UK&selCategory=2 & selFamily = 4 & selSeries = 157 & selProduct = 773 & selShort Mod = 684 & language = 13 & selOS = 26 & selType = all & yearuploa d = & monthupload = & dayupload = & useDate = null & mode = Chinas allMa & search = & action = search & macId = & country = 8 & page = 2 & startPage = 1] he justs roles back the instalation before it's over.

Do you know if toshiba plans to deliver a version of Mobilink from Novatel compatible with Windows 7?
And what of the Intel(r) Management Engine Interface? There will also be a compatible version?

    Thanks in advance guys...

    Hello

    > I even managed to get the drivers for the Modem from Novatel minimap from a previous version and accepted Device Manager. But when I try to install the v2.02.27 from Novatel MobiLink available only here it justs roles back the instalation before it's over.

The point is that you tried to install the driver on Win 7 OS Vista and this could be the problem. Seems the Vista driver is not supported with Win 7.
Of course, some drivers Vista would go with Win 7 but not all drivers are compatible.

I think you have to wait until the drivers Win 7 for the 3G module would appear.

    Hi snicker_1,

There are many differences between these models and also, there are different R700 and R630 models on the market.

In my opinion, you should check these notebooks from Toshiba Web site. There you can see what models are currently available and the configuration.

If you see here the same even as the statistics were gathered,
    * In the 1st table T_TEST_TAB, table always use FULL table access after creating indexes.
    * And in the 2nd table T_TEST_TAB1, table uses PRIMARY KEY as expected.

    Any comments?

    Kind regards

    >
Yes - for the first table a full table scan will be used as the currently selected column is nullable and indexes do not include null values.

The index can be used for the second query, since all the data (first column) is available between the index and there may be no NULL values because of the primary key. If you check constraints, you find that the there is now a CHECK constraint to ensure that the first column cannot be null.

For a full and interesting discussion see the explanation of this and a related issue on the question I ask in this thread
What SYS tables (not seen) contain the value NULL spec /not/ column definition? and my response he posted: 23 April 2012 09:02

I ask the question is based on a question here which is similar to yours

  • Difference in size between wall Source and program?

I'm new at first and started using it because I love how sturdy it is great. When I drag a clip in a Source (Group?) monitor, the video preview is a different size if I slide the same clip in the program monitor. When I try export the clip, it exports to the same size as the program preview screen which has a large black borders even if the original for this clip has no borders. I would like the project to export more closely to the size of the preview of the Source monitor. When I'm in the area of export settings, click the option use the same parameters as the source file, but it still has black borders.

I assume this has something to do with reports l / h? But then I don't know why something would have black borders if I choose to use the settings from the original source. I'm not really difficult to get rations of exact great aspect at the moment, I'm just curious to know what the difference is between dragging a clip in the source monitor and program monitor. This is the same exact clip that I am dragging in both. Because now I understand how the slightly larger clip in the program monitor by allowing eligible and right margins by expanding the video preview, that she grows in the exporting region and does not cause any reduction in video quality. Only complaint is that I have to play with the eligible margins on all the separate clips that come with different files to make them fit into one video.

All this makes sense? Is there a setting somewhere that will import a file to have the same dimensions, when I try and then export it?

    In short:

Import a file. When I drag him in the Panel of the sequence, the previews show with black borders when the original video clip did not. How can I have that happen?

Many thanks (assuming that I have provided information to evacuate to produce a clear answer)

When you create a new project you are presented

with a setting of the sequence to the choice menu.

You can skip this step by pressing "Cancel", then import your media

and create the type of sequence that best adapts to your images.

    Try this:

  • Great color and differences of tone between DW CS3 and PS CS3

I am running PS CS3 and DW, on a MacBook Pro connected to a second screen.  I calibrated and profiled two screens on the same graphics card using i1, and all shots are using an sRGB profile.  Looking at browsers beside there are differences in color, Safari is way out there.  What is strange, is that there is a big difference between DW and PS, I would say that two program windows are side by side on the same screen, with the same time.  DW shows the web page that publishes the blow, and PS has the same open photo, (she has been optimized during recording) socket in the pictures of my local site folder.  Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Chris

    Hello

You can check that your PS program does not use the setting of sRGB, adobe, but in general there is no real solution to the problem. Especially if you're designing for the web, (how many users never calibrate their monitor, except by the eyes?) as for the difference in the programs, you can calibrate your graphics programs to use a specific setting / profile of color, but as dreamweaver is not a graphics program, it will use the settings of your system.

The reason why I mentioned my previous answers was to point out that nobody has solved this satisfactory problem to my knowledge, see - http://forums.adobe.com/search.jspa?resultTypes=DOCUMENT&resultTypes=MESSAGE&resultTypes=C COMMUNITY & resultTypes = TASK & resultTypes = PROJECT & resultTypes = SOCIAL_GROUP & resultTypes = COMMENT & peopleEnabled = true & q = color + problems.

What about Safari, if you think that the problem with color is a problem, try the problems with type- http://www.antigrain.com/research/font_rasterization/index.html.

  • Difference in performance between the CTA and INSERT / * + APPEND * / IN

    Hi all

    I have a question about the ETG and "Insert / * + Append * / Into" statements.

Suite deal, I have a question that I did not understand the difference in operating times EXADATA.

The two tables of selection (g02_f01 and g02_f02) have not any partition. But I could partition tables with the method of partition by column "ip_id" hash and I tried to run the same query with partition tables. Change anything in execution times.

I executed plan gather statistics for all tables. The two paintings were 13.176.888 records. The two arrays have same "ip_id' unique columns. I want to combine these tables into a single table.

    First request:

    Insert / * + append parallel (a, 16) * / in dg.tiz_irdm_g02_cc one

    (ip_id, process_date,...)

    Select / * + parallel (a, 16) parallel (16B) * / *.

    tgarstg.tst_irdm_g02_f01 a.,

    tgarstg.tst_irdm_g02_f02 b

    where a.ip_id = b.ip_id

    Elapsed = > 45: 00 minutes

    Second request:

create table dg.tiz_irdm_g02_cc nologging parallel 16 compress for than query

    Select / * + parallel (a, 16) (b, 16) parallel * / *.

Notice how this additional distribution has disappeared from the non-partitioned table.

I think that with the partitioned table that oracle has tried to balance the number of slaves against the number of scores he expected to use and decided to distribute the data to get a 'fair sharing' workload, but had not authorized for the side effects of the buffer hash join which was to appear and extra messaging for distribution.

You could try the indicator pq_distribute() for the insert to tell Oracle that he should not disrtibute like that. for example, based on your original code:

    Insert / * + append pq_distribute parallel (a, 16) (a zero) * / in dg.tiz_irdm_g02_cc one...

This can give you the performance you want with the partitioned table, but check what it does to the space allocation that it can introduce a large number (16) of extensions by segment that are not completely filled and therefore be rather waste of space.

  • Portege M700 and Mobilink has stopped working

This used to work before but stopped working 3 days ago and I don't know why. I have a USB with Huawei option or insert the SIM card under the battery then use Mobilink. He worked with both but now neither work. In Mobilink, he reports Radio Off and with the USB, it signals that the modem is already in use. WiFi works normally.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried to roll back OS to an earlier time using System Restore option?

  • Portege M700 and R400 Wacom penabled

    Hello

I am very interested in these tablets... but I have little doubt that I could not find on the web.
Since I use photoshop and corel a lot, are the two PC Wacom penabled tablet?

From what I've read its device feature not only some driver thingy... it must therefore be taken manufacturer supported.
I would really appreciate recognition of pressure.

    Thank you

I can confirm that this brief info posted by danydemaeseneire his Wacom permanently.

  • Is there a difference in quality between folios online and offline?

My work on an iPad app is almost finished, but since there are a lot of audio files in it, the folio will have a size of 200 MB.

Although I often tried to download the folio - view of all the instructions to download a single folio - I wasn't able to download the entire folio so far; most likey because the folio is too important.

My question: is equivalent to the quality of a folio from a folio online offline? If so, I could take the folio offline to build the application.

    No, there is no difference.

  • Why is there a difference in length between 24 fps and fps 23 976 timelines with the same clip?

I was working on a project of 23 976 fps and I tried to import a short animated sequence of 44 TIFFs in my scenario in my first CS5.

I imported the sequence, interpreting the film at 23 976 fps (such as it was made in AE) to check before sending it to a finished House.

First issue. Even if I set the framerate 23 976, first CS5, indicates me 23.98 on interpreting window film. I assumed it as a rounded number.

When I drag the attachment to my 23 976 sequence, the clip shows 43 (!) length of frames on the info panel. It lacks an image. The sequence in the original video, it really lacks a framework.

I decided to do a test. And placed the same clip, interpreted the same way on a sequence of 24 frames per second, and the clip shows as length of 44 executives on the info panel.

How can we, same clip shows the different quantity of frames (I don't mean time, but just raw images), on different times? It makes no sense at all! If my sequence has 44 frames, it should show in the form of 44 independent frames of the scenario that I imported it. Am I entitled?

Just for test, I ve imported from the same sequence on AE, and in it shows as 44 frames on a timeline 23 976. How can I trust to first frame interpret in this way?

Just one thing. The scene used as basis for the animation of the AE, has 44 executives, and it was measured and cut in a 30s film on the same first which is having this weird behavior.

Can someone explain to me what Just happened? It s driving me crazy!

    Thanks in advance

    Mauricio Mendes

Before you import the sequence of images, go to Edit > Preferences > media... and together the basis of split time at 23.976.

  • differences in storage between 5 (A1428) and 5 (A1533)

    Hello

I recently had to replace my iPhone 5 (A1428) with a 5 (A1533). I was not able to load my backup set on the new iPhone. Because they are the two 16 GB, I'm stumped. It should not be the same? Two iPhones have iOS 9.3.3. I can no longer boot the iPhone 5 because of water damage.

    Thanks for any idea!

    TJ.

The free space on the old phone has been filled to the minimum? If so, this might be a reason for not being able to restore. During the restoration process the phone has need a bit more free space available as the size of the backup that you want to install.

Any error messenges during the process?

    Hello

Unfortunately, it is not possible to download the image of Toshiba.
Where you n t have recovery disc for your model mobile, visit this page to order this disc: http://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx
But I don't very well if you'll be able to order the disc because of the age of the laptop of m

However, the message: insert the disk system is displayed because the system is not installed on the Toshiba Portege laptop, that's why it asks for the disc.

Of course, you can use the clean Microsoft Windows disk to install the system, the essential drivers are available on the page of the driver Toshiba UE Toshiba image is not necessary to reinstall the system, if you are the owner of a MS Windows disc
