  You want to run Windows Setup on the Mini via a Firewire connection to the iMac? If so, it will not work. There are far too many complications to enable this. It may be better to use Microsoft Remote Desktop to access the Mini as a remote Windows computer.

  What happens when you try to load the RAID driver?  What is the error message that you receive?  Here is a link for the driver in case.

  If you use a normal commercial disc to install Windows 7 I do not pretend to order a set of recovery media.  This should make the process much more as a recovery will install not only the operating system, but the drivers of devices as well.  This should save time that you will not have to scour the internet looking for drivers.  If you are in the United States / Canada you can contact the HP Support to the 1-800-474-6836 for information on the recovery media.  If you are in another part of the world, you visit HP's Support around the world to find the coordinates for your region.

The only problem I have is sometimes while surfing the web, I get the blue screen of death and my netbook restarts. I was not able to understand by myself am so regarding this forum hoping to repair... I contacted LG for information on downloading upgraded drivers, but got a response from them saying that my pc is not supported with drivers for windows 7.   It seems that you have a C2 Bad Pool Caller error, which is difficult to analyze without the minidump file.  If you googled around and find WinDBG, you can open the minidump file.

  Look for the line: nom_image: it will tell you exactly what file has caused the error.  If all goes well, once you find exactly what caused the error, you can search for updated drivers/software.  At first glance, I would say it was the Realtek drivers because you see the line RTL8187Se in your info.

  My MSI Wind U100 netbook works also Win7 perfectly.  Double boots with MacOSX too, just because I wanted to see if I could do it.  I change the hard drive (for a bigger) and added the RAM.  Nothing low spec thereon compared to what was needed for WinXP when it came out!

  Generally installation Windows 95 (or any other OS) on a Virtual Machine is fundamentally not different then install on a physical Machine, to act accordingly.

  If the Windows 95 disk is not bootable, which is quite normal, then you will need to start the Virtual Machine with the configuration Windows 95 diskette accompanying usually when it was bought at the time.  In addition you may need to the first partition and format the hard drive before you actually begin the installation of the operating system.  Note: Since your Mac does not have a floppy drive that you will need to use an image of the disk by either using a USB attached floppy drive you're Mac or from another Machine that has a floppy drive.

  BTW, Windows 95 does not work to well under VMware Fusion.

  As you can read, you must format the HARD drive and copy the folder the XP disc on HARD drive i386. Then, you can start Setup from the HARD drive without a CD player. :)
