We have two text measures startmonth and endmonth, how can resolve us to the time dimension based on the values of these measures of text? Difficulty for example (Mar: dec)

I'm sorry, it looks like you may need to go on a training Essbase. As I said you can NOT SET on data which are entered.

You must FIX on all period member using something like @RELATIVE(YearTotal,0), then in your writing sets the IF statement as well as the data is calculated only at the period, you are at (The FIX on all periods will cover all periods) lies between the values entered by the user (i.e. the start month and end month values).

An example below is to say in the depreciation calculation.

"SYS_MONTH" is a member who places the VALUES against each Member period so that you can compare and match against the input values IE like VLOOKUP in Excel, then Jan = 1, Feb = 2... ***

Imaging you are in a worksheet with Jan, Feb, Mar in the upper part and in the left column, you have the beginning and the end of the month entries.     I went the same route. I started to want to learn web design and the Muse is an excellent tool. The code it generates, however, not to use it in Dreamweaver. This could be done, I think this isn't worth it, even for a real Geek. Once you get to Muse you will find there are things missing, stuff, you want to do, but are just tough in Muse or you can buy a widget. It is possible in DW and you get which through subscription, so it makes sense. Me what I know now, I'll go directly to DW to learn, except if you want results right now. If you don't want something to cause I stay with Muse and maybe learn to animate CC to add some pizazz to the site. If you only want a simple layout and a couple supporting stick with Muse pages if you want a larger site use DW.     If you want just a number, a scalar value must be what you put in the shift register, not a table.

    If the condition is true, add one to the value in the registry to shift and move it back in.  If the condition is false, then just put the current value in the registry change to.

    I think that my current query based results M and N on WIPDATAVALUE and not HOUSING that's why I get the wrong result. I also tried to use WITH instruction and it works well, but unfortunately, our system cannot accept the subquery factoring.

    If the user chooses among the 3 lunches and then put $2.00 in the total box at the end of the line. If 'Just the milk' may put 0.50 in the box.

    The total area at the end of the line must keep a record of all 5 days and give a total.

    So if someone chooses lunch A LUN, sea and Sun and just milk for Tuesday and Thursday and then the total for this week must be $7,00

    One way to do would be to use SUMIFS.

    The formula in B2, filled to the bottom:

    = SUMIFS(Table 1::$E,Table 1::$A,">"&C2,Table 1::$A,"<"&D2)

    The formula in C2, filled to the bottom:

    = A2 + 4

    The formula in D2, filled to the bottom:

    = EOMONTH(A2,0) + 5

    Column A contains strings of date and time in the format to display the month only.
