  Welcome to the communities of Apple Support!   Looks like you and your husband are exploring new effects of iMessage with iOS 10.   If the animation occurs on your husband's iPhone, him having check its settings reduce Motion in settings > general > accessibility.   If the Motion to reduce is enabled (green button), turn this setting off.

  I have a small problem that I see is common for new Toshiba laptops, my touch buttons on the top of my keyboard on my laptop stopped working.
  I am slot than Vista Home 64 bit.

  I tried to reinstall the value Toshiba add as suggested in another thread, but that doesn't seem to work.
  I also tried to uninstall Toshiba to re - install (reboot) (Reboot) value without any result.
  Fn keys still work very well.

  I don't know when the problem occurred, I only had the phone for a little over a month and I was installing some software, so obviously something has developed bad there.

  Does anyone else have any other suggestions? Other than reinstalling the OS?

  I have a Qosmio F50 too and it s really a great book. The design is nice and this laptop really fast.

  On my Qosmio F50 I can t notice a problem with the buttons of the illumination. So maybe you have installed a software application that isn't compatible with the software.
  In your case, I would try to reinstall the Toshiba value added Package. It controls the keys FN, illuminating buttons and all the other special function keys:

  I installed VMWare player on my satellite A300-14 running Windows Vista 32-bit. But after the installation, my pen touch buttons (esp. enlightenment and CD/DVD) has stopped working.
  Then I uninstalled it but still the problem persists.

  I don't have any system point before the installation of restore.

  What should I do?

  You must reinstall the VAP (value added package) for Vista.
  Usually, this should help.

  PS: Clean the BONES and the front register of insatlling the VAP. You can use CCleaner for that...

  What operating system is currently installed? You use the operating system preinstalled Toshiba or another?

  The touch buttons are controlled by added value package. If you reinstall the package that they should work again especially the Toshiba recovery image is installed.

  Have you checked the BIOS if there is an option for enlightened buttons? You should active defined and also to load the default settings.

  What you do with your hands? I mean if you don't need them do not touch them. Satellite P500 is now in front of me and don't understand how it can be annoying.

  In any case if you do not use them, you must remove support button utility. It is part of the package of added value. I don't know if you can remove it as a simple but what you can do is to remove the VAP system. After restart install VAP again (to download from Toshiba support page) and choose custom installation. Before the button remove the check mark from the usefulness of support and continue the installation.

  I imagine that these buttons will be dead and you will be happy. ;)

  I've had my z570 for about 6 months now, and all is well until now. Except today, when I started and a few seconds once windows had started, the lights on the touch buttons (volume, speed fan etc.) on top came out.   Have you tried a key recovery? Follow these steps
  1 backup all DAT files in c drive
  2. close the laptop
  3. press the small button with the arrow pointing down next to the switch to turn on laptop. It would start as usual.
  4. He would show that windows is loading files. It would then start in the recovery environment.
  5. click on a key recovery

  Hello I'm new here. I just bought a HP pavilion DV7 laptop 1285dx of entertainment 5 days ago, and the touch buttons for volume, mute, play, pause, before, back buttons and WiFi stop working. They never really seem to work perfectly. kind of hit and miss and the scroll of volume would be a little crazy. They don't quite work now and I was wondering if there could be something that I could try before I return the laptop to Best Buy? Again, what are the tactile buttons between the keyboard and screen. Any help would be appreciated.

  Hi Esteban1976.  I think I found the solution (at least this is what finally worked for me).

  Follow these steps:

  1 shutdown the computer laptop completely (not in standby or Hibernate).

  2. unplug the power adapter AC laptop.

  3 remove the battery from the laptop.

  4. press on and hold down, the button for 30 seconds.

  5. replace the battery, plug in the adapter and turn on the laptop.

  HP says that these actions will remove all capacitive and static charges in the laptop.

  He has worked both times that I had the problem.

  Don't know exactly why it worked, but I guess it's because the tactile buttons have registers of memory who associated with them that becomes insensitive (or closed) due to static charge/discharge of 'touch' and do not lose their charge until all energy sources have been removed, and the circuit to ground out.

  Let me know if this worked for you also.

  The lit touch buttons near the screen (in accordance with the power button) on top of keyboard without function longer. As well as the light for the numbers pad.

  I have no idea why these buttons no longer work.

  First uninstall Hp Qucik buttons launch the program and features in the control panel and restart you Notebook and check if new drivers are installing and the buttons work correctly.

  If the problem exists then connect to www.Hp.com and click on support and drivers and enter the product number and click search and then select software and drivers down load and select your operating system and then click driver - keyboard, mouse and input (6) devices , and then click the HP Quick Launch Buttons ►2010 / 04 / 09, Version: 6.50.16.1, 26.05 M and click donwload and install on nb and check if the problem is resolved, and if the problem exists , and then click Start > Search > the Device Manager and in Device Manager > mice and other pointing device and uninstall the Synaptics ps2 device and restart laptop and check if the buttons work properly, if the problem exists and then contact the Hp Support to set up the bench event for laptop

  I updated my iPhone 6 more (64 GB) at ios10.0.1. My question is related to iMessage how to turn off the digital automatic saveing to the touch icons?

  All the friend of my friends have an option under each button to explicitly save a digital key, otherwise it will be deleted after 2 minutes. Unfortunately I do not have this option, but it is always saved automatically.

  Please help me find the option to disable AutoSave.

  My son and daughter in law both get my keys.  Not sure why it isn't?

  Try the following steps:

  • In the Contacts application on your iPhone:
    • Check that the power plug for your wife contains the iPhone phone number and its own address email ID Apple (and none of your details).
    • Check that your contact card contains only your Apple ID email address and your own iPhone number.
  • On your iPhone, go to: settings > Mail, Contacts, calendar > in the Contacts section, check my Info using your contact card.
  • On your iPhone, go to: settings > general > Siri > My Info - make sure your contact card is selected.
  • Check that you have added your wife to the friends list on your Apple Watch using its correctly completed contact card:
    • On your iPhone, in the application of the Watch: Watch My > friends.
  • Remove the old iMessage conversations with your wife on your iPhone and Apple Watch:
    • iPhone: app Messages > swipe to the left on a message thread > delete.
    • View: Open the Messages app (from the home screen, which is accessible by pressing the digital Crown) > swipe to the left on a message thread > tap on Trash / delete.
  • Set new conversations of Messages from your iPhone phone number:
    • iPhone: settings > Messages > Send and receive > scroll to start new Conversations of > choose your iPhone phone number.

    • Wait a minute or so (to allow contacts to be erased and replaced on your watch).
  • Disable and re-enable iMessage on your iPhone:
    • iPhone > settings > iMessage > enable/disable / enable again.
  • Restart your iPhone and your watch (turn the two together off the coast, then restart your iPhone first):
    • To turn off your watch: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; slide it to turn off. To restart: press and hold the side button until you see the logo.

• Automatically maintain Messages digital Touch

  Some settings on my phone seems to be now automatically "Touch Digital" of messages sent by another user and who are sent by me.  I've just updated to iOS 10.  I have a 6 s phone.  When a message is sent, I do not have the option 'Keep' under him.  It stops automatically.  Anyone know how to disable this option?
