  I have updated my software to the latest flash player this morning after having had problems with the old flash player since I have upgraded to Mac Lion a couple of weeks. Fortunately, the new software addresses the problem of not being able to click in the box setting wee that appears, which is all fixed now, but I have still a problem with my mouse disappears when you use the flash player.  I can get it come back by moving the cursor of the mouse on the flash content, but its very frustrating to have to do this every two seconds when you try to play games online.  Just wondering is there anything that I am missing, perhaps a setting that I could change something it would do better, all my software is up to date on my macbook and everything works fine, just flash it seems to be a problem with.

  Hi all, I have a working of the UCS 1.4 configuration (3i) and the Nexus 1000V 1.4 and according to best practices guide uses "channel-group auto on mac - pinning mode" on the uplink of Nexus. I have a problem when you add a new VLAN in this environment, and it is a reproducible problem in two different facilities.

  I pass by the VLAN usual creation process on the Nexus, the network upstream and within the UCS himself. I create new port vethernet profile and set it as an access port in the new VIRTUAL LAN. However when I join a VM (existing or new) to this new port vethernet profile in vCentre virtual machine cannot communicate with anything. However, if I disable MAC pinning with 'no channel-group auto on mac - pinning mode', the virtual machine will start instantly talk to the outside world and the new VIRTUAL LAN is running. Can I turn MAC pinning back once again, and everything continues to work.

  So the question is, is this normal or is there a problem? MAC the Θtiquetage has a brief interruption of the uplink, so is not a viable long-term customer solution when they want to add new VLAN. Is it possible to add new VLANS in this scenario without any unavailability of the network, but brief?

  Symptom: New MAC address is not learn on vem in the l2 table even though the mac address table is not overflow yet. vemcmd show l2-emergency-aging-stats | grep "Number of entries that could not be inserted:" will show extreme large number. Conditions: Nexus1000v VEM running on SV1.4 release. There are two CPU cores on the host. This issue may happen at race condition. Workaround: Reboot the ESX/ESXi host. 

  This problem is corrected in the 1. 4A release.

• Printing problems with MAC OS x 10.7

  I have a new MAC with LION installed and I got a curious experience involved printing with both my HP printers: CM1312nfi and C1120n.

  In the first instance, after one by one by apple-store settings, printers worked, after a few days, they could be detected, but print gave an error.

  After the call apple and all they suggested (reset print and adding them again, either via USB to wifi) tried nothing has changed.

  A few days later I tried the steps suggested and got a new behavior: a software download.

  But at the end of the download and installation, the following message appears:
  "the software for printing has been installed correctly. Please reinstall the software from the manufacturer. »

  My printers are currently supported by the LION, but the problem is that HP has NOT not any software for any of them to download from the report:

  "With the release of OS X 10.7 Lion, HP provides software and updated printer drivers." These updates are available via Apple software updates in Mac OS X."

  My questions are:
  How to get a driver to work for them?
  Will I update the firmware?
  Maybe 10.6 against pilot would be nice as well? If so, where to download?

• help-problems with Mac book since the upgrade to Yosemite

  I have a 13 "Macbook, end of 2010. It is used to run perfectly until I installed Yosemite in late 2014 when he started to run slowly and Safari would crash. The problems have got worse with each update. Now when I boot, I get a white screen with a progress downstairs bar and it may take between 1-3 minutes before I get the logon screen. Programs also take a long time to load and I constantly get the rotation beach ball.  I don't have any external hardware attached and am does not have any software that needs to use a lot of RAM.   yesterday I bought the Toshiba Multimedia Stor.e TV with 500 GB HDD.

  Packed, placed some data from my iMac on the HARD drive, it connected to my TV---> nothing works, the example of the files that were already on the work of HARD drive, won't my files.

  I thought of a few reasons and tried somethings out, the result: MAC metadata are the problem. The HARD drive got NTFS (which I also want to use in the future) and on Mac I use MacFuse to manage NTFS---> Far now without any problem, but somehow Stor.E tv will play all files that I have some Mac inside metadata.

  So, I copy the files from the disk on a Windows PC, just copy it to the Stor.e. ---> No fun at all

  ist ther ecoffet another solution? As an update of firmware that makes the Stor.e able to manage files Mac or an app that kan remove metadata files Mac?

  The Toshiba HDD Multimedia Stor.e TV supports only MPEG-1/2/4, DAT, VOB, MP4, AVI, XVID and MJPEG files.
  If you want to use another type of file, you must convert in one of the supported file types.

  The TV Stro.e was not developed to play files metadata of Mac and it s so not able to read them.
  So unfortunately, it cannot update any firmware released for this.

  You copy the files to a Windows PC or you convert to one of the supported format.

  Sorry for no better news but that s with the specifications of the TV Stor.e.

  Unable to follow the message (with or without attachments) in mac mail... sometimes restarting the computer solves the problem, but not always and the new problem occurs a few hours after the reboot if in fact, rebooting fixes problem.

  The office is a Mac from early 2009 with 8 G of ram and only 30% use hard disk

  First check to see if there is nothing changed, if there is then reverse the trend.

  If this isn't the case, then reset the SMC and the PRAM by Intel iMac SMC resets and PRAM , and post back with your results.

• Problems with MAC WET11 cloning features

  I'm having a devil of a time to set up my v2 WET11 to allow my XBOX be fully connected. I can configure and connect the bridge, ping, ftp files to XBOX etc. Only problem is when I try to play bound. I can see the game in progress on the second XBOX but cannot participate. Related game works perfectly when Xbox is wired to the router.  I know that play bound depends on each game console broadcasting their MAC, so I need to clone the MAC address of the XBOX to use the bridge.

  Unfortunately the WET11 web configuration interface I cannot do. Under Settings/Advanced cloning Mode, all controls are disabled - greyed. This includes the control that allows you to turn on cloning.  I took a shot the script behind the page and it seems that it checks to see if 'disable cloning' is selected and if so, disables all controls of cloning, including one that would allow me to get back on. Since the default value is disabled, it is the programmatic equivalent to lock the keys in the car. You can take a look at here emulated interface:

  Of course, the demo is fully functional and do not exhibit the problem...

  Many people have described solve their XBOX related play questions by cloning the MAC address of the XBOX and see change settings using the web interface.

  I tried different versions of the firmware 2.06 and 2.07, 2.08 USA 2.08 EU. Same results. Tried the Installer Wizard 1.06 worm, but he does not even include the MAC settings.

  Had two cats different with online support agents and the two seem as puzzled as I am.

  Am I missing something obvious? Depends on the availability of cloning parameters options elsewhere in the config utility?  Is the interface designed for cloning taking place without intervention of the user on the v2 and v1? (doubt)

  Has anyone else seen elsewhere?

  I know that people have written code to pull the strings of parameters off the unit then maybe the reverse is true and I can write the script to directly change the settings.

  Any suggestion would be appreciated.

• Problems with Mac OS 10.5.8 and HP 2355xi PSX

  My HP PSC 2355xi worked fine when I had a Windows PC.  Since obtaining the Macbook Pro, I've tried several times to download the printer drivers for Mac on the site of HP without good results.  I usually drop and uninstall.

  Yet once, I tried to download the printer driver to 2355 for my Mac OS from the HP website.  I've never been able complete the installation because the error of "trap monitor" lights up and installation closes.   I have all my updates installed Apple.  My printer will print and copy but it will not scan.  However, the real problems are the constant error messages.) Every ~ 45 seconds, I get the trap monitor error message and I have to click on one of the 3 choices to get rid of it.  I tried all 3 choices, nothing is done.

  'The monitor application trap HPIO close unexpectedly.  Mac OS and other applications are not affected.  Click on restart to start the application.  Click report to see more details or send a report to Apple. "Or I can click on ignore.

  I also have this error with less frequency.

  "An item in the folder Startup Items (Library/StartUpItems? HP IO) doesn't have the proper security settings.  Using this object can cause problems.  If you have confidence at that point fixed securitys settings, click on fix.  So always that this point be used, click on disable.  "Stop using this object and show this message again, click on decide later.

  I looked and did not have a Library/StartUpItems.  I tried to fix the last time I installed and it did not work.  I clicked on decide later on this installation, but I'm afraid to click on disable.

  It is not worth dealing with error messages ever minute or less in order to have this printer.  It's all just too old and not scan with a Mac OS?

  I just installed the driver download HP online for my Mac (Mac OS x 10.7) and the subject of HP 1536dnf MFP; When you try to use the function HP1536dnf Scan of my MacBookPro; I get the following message:

  192.168.0.6 is currently unavailable. Make sure that your device is turned on, check the connection and make sure that your network is working properly. If these conditions are correct, restart the device and try to scan the image. I have check the router and Mac configurations without solving the problem.

  My MacBook Pro is connected to a cable Modem wireless Motorola & Gigabit Router (model SGB6680) via a wireless link, and the HP1536dnf is connect through the router Motorola (192.168.0.6) Lan connection.

  NOTE: I am able to print to the HP1536dnf of the Mac, but I am not in a position to operate the scan function wirhout to get the above message.  This brings me to understand the Mac connection to the router and the local network of the HP1536dnf works correctly.

  Please suggest items to check or a solution for my problem.  Thank you!

  The second version made further than the first on installation.  He makes the installation of PES 10 and then jump 60%, installed on 98% and displays the above message.  It gets really frustrating because it takes me several hours to download a copy of this software.

  I noticed on my previous 3 download and installation attempts that I was getting the error checking when you try to open the dmg file.  I had been disable checking checksum through disk utility > Preferences menu.  Each downloaded dmg file would give slightly different mistakes, so this lead me to believe that the problem was with the download.  I had been downloading at home and I noticed that it took 4-8 hours to download the file of 2 GB.  I think my ISP limiting my connection to preserve bandwidth for others.  I decided this morning to download the file in another place with a much faster internet connection.  The download took 14 minutes.  No checksum error came when you open the dmg file and the installation went perfectly.  If others have problems similar to mine, I recommend finding a place with a better internet connection to download the dmg file and see how it works.

• Projector problems with Mac OS 10.4...

  I use Director MX 2004 10.1.
  When I create a projector to be used in a Macintosh Kiosksystem, it works up to Mac OS 10.3.9 perfekt. On Mac OS 10.4... I have the following problem: the computer restarts in the morning, but the title bar and the "Dock" do not disappear and the projector is not running (she waits on the first image, until someone clicks in the Screencenter). It of fatal, because any user comes to the backgroundfiles and can destroy things! I tried different projektorsettings with no result.

  The trick with the "Kiosk" account made a lot of gain!
  The 'Start Up' points, it was like that: there has been no other programms or items in the list. The projector has been the only one. But then I tried to put a text file to the list and it worked. In the boot sequence first the text file will be opened and then the projector. And it works. I Don t know why but it works.
  I'll continue searching in the forums of OS X Tiger to find the perfect solution, but the booth is running and everyone is happy. Once again thank you very much!
