  If you click on 'Restore the standard fonts', fonts that are not included in the OS X systems is placed in a "fonts folder (deleted) next to the fonts folder.

  Method 1:

  First access to hidden files and folders. To do so follow the steps below:

  (a) click Start.

  (b) in the start search box, type "search".

  (c) click on "change search options for files and folders.

  I have Adobe Professional 9 and you have created a form of Acro.

  There is no security on the form, and if changes are made to the record button remains grayed out.

  The only way to save the shape is to continue to use Save as in the file menu.

  Can any advise please why save button is still gray after that changes are made and there is no applied security?

  The Firefox Support instructions below do not work in version 36. The button 'delete' is never gray State asset once the unwanted/s search engine are checked for removal. I tried one at a time and in groups, it does everything just as they suggest below.

The only function of the boxes by the search engine will make them visible or not when using the search box in Firefox. The solutions proposed by others seems logical, but I learned more than 4 decades as a technician in computer science, opt for the simple solution first. Thank you all for your suggestions, this fix works for versions 36 and 36.0.01on Windows 7. I guess it should work for other OS also.
