No saving necessary data and re-installing Windows Vista might be the best option, but here
    are a few others.

You can save your files by putting the drive in another computer as a 2nd disk (best) or external
Drive USB enclosure and then backup to removable media such as CD, DVD or other USB drives.
Of course a real store of the computer or the manufacturer of your system can help to recover the files.

Or you can use a boot Ubuntu CD to back up data.

You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If yes you can try Control Panel - device
Manager - graphics card - Double click on - driver tab - click on UPDATE driver - then right click
on devices and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.

A method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure) is CTRL +.
ALT + DELETE - Manager tasks and tab process EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - and then
on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is available by
repeatedly tapping F8 as you start. CTRL + SHIFT + ESC also begins the Task Manager.

  • Adobe AIR applications open to black screen in iOS 8

Adobe AIR for iOS apps that I've published using Flash Professional CS6 more to properly run on iOS 8. They worked well in the iOS 7.

After opening, they just cling to a black screen (probably the launch screen - I don't have an image for this).

Is this a known issue? Are there solutions?

I found an answer--applications have been published using the AIR SDK 3.4, which I think does not support iOS 8.

Republished with 15 latest AIR SDK and it works properly.

Guess I'll have to republish everything.

  • re black screen: start: last good known Config, Windows starts normally begins to start and fails

This screen offers safe mode options that I didn't choose. When I select to start Windows normally the computer starts to boot and I see the Windows Logo, then it switches to the Logo from my computer with 2 different keys of F and when I looked into it and I tried again, I got the black screen again with these options and it keeps cycling.

I tried F8 and I don't know enough to navigate. Can I get help? My windows disc seems to be broken, so I'll try another disc. I ran it under Configuration now it says: for installation: format the Partition using the NTFS file system. I don't know how to repair Windows on mine.
The disc seems to be higher my score 1 digit. It is Windows XP Home Edition. The Windows disk that is scratched is not this edition. I do not know what form of Windows is installed in my BONES.
I move files off my hard drive when this problem occurred and I got a blue screen and the computer began to dump physical memory... I turned off my computer. Recently, I had the memory stick inside, but it starts normally after that I did until this happened, I thought that this can happen because I changed the memory stick... not sure

    Hello

Are you trying to clean windows install? Do not pass without taking your databackup as format NTFS means it will erase all your data on the disk, you will have:

    Validate windows

    Reinstall windows update

    Install all required software

    Restore your data

What, exactly, is the problem. Remove first the cd boot pc, at the prompt when it asks for safe mode - select Safe mode, connect to pc using administrator.

    Click Start-> run, type &-> chkdsk /f c :-> OK

He may ask you to schedule the scan of the drive-> select Y for Yes, restart your computer.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi ISSYHenico,

    1. you receive messages or error codes?

This problem can occur if updates failed to install.

    2. are you able to boot into normal mode if you select Windows vista?

    Method 1:

    Step 1:

Otherwise, try to start in safe mode and perform a system restore and check:

    Check out the link:

Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Step 2:

If you can start in safe mode, then you can try a system restore to a previous point where you have not experienced the problem.

Note: When you perform the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

To run the system restore, you can consult the following link:

    System restore

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-is-system-restore

    System Restore: frequently asked questions

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/system-restore-frequently-asked-questions

Once you're able boot in normal mode, try the following steps:

    Method 2:

    Step 1:

You can view the history of update for updates failed which is causing the problem.

    Check out the link:

See the Windows updates are installed

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/see-which-Windows-updates-are-installed

    Step 2:

You can try to install the updates manually from the Microsoft Download Center download and check if it helps.

    Check out the link:

  • Dell Optiplex 3020 - the black screen after dell logo (happened after windows updates froze at halfway and systems were restarted)

We had windows updates run on all our systems of windows 7 in our medical center.  13 or so of our 3020 s Optiplex froze for eight hours about in a State of "install updates 1 of 24".  I have all them turned off and restarted units.  Once units have been restarted, they gave the Security windows startup or start-up option normally.  Those who had selected the option to 'start normally' would display the logo dell at startup, then click on a completely black screen (all devices still in market and monitors recording an active signal even if no picture).   Those started in safe mode w/o networking, loaded in safe mode.  I rebooted the machine in safe mode, and they all started out in windows without problem.

For systems that go completely black after the dell logo.  I am able to F2 in the BIOS, I can run diagnostics from BIOS and I can't F12 in boot options, but I cannot F8 or SHIFT + F8 mode without failure or fact start in safe mode, please come under early start options.

Anyone happen to know a way to launch a system of 3020 optiplex in safe mode without the use of F8, SHIFT + F8, go through msconfig or remote access to the registry (because I can not remote in the system on the network)?

Maybe I can put the hard drive in a dock and change the registry in this way?  But can I change the potentiometer to force secure boot? or is it not possible to make a bcdedit to it as an external drive, install it in his camera and force it to safe boot the next time, he is running?

Any ideas or suggestions would be very appreciated.

    Hello

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

Try the steps in the following Microsoft article and check if it helps.

Windows Vista or Windows 7 unbootable, and the Startup Repair tool does not resolve the problem:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/934540

    Method 2:
You can refer to the link below and check the drive for errors:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/check-your-hard-disk-for-errors

Warning: when running chkdsk on the drive hard if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data may be lost.

If the methods mentioned above do not solve the problem, then it would be best to contact the manufacturer of the computer.

For more information, see the following Microsoft article and check if that helps.

    Hello
I use Windows 7 ultimate x 64 on my desktop. Recently, I just turned on my PC and when I tried to connect to my account after the Welcome screen, a black screen came up with the cursor and nothing else has been demonstrated. He just hung there.

Also, the black screen goes after 40 minutes or more and I'm able to use my pc.

    Thank you.

    Hello

It looks like certainly there is some sort of virus on the computer. If this is the case, your files will not be deleted but they could have been hidden. So, please run a full scan the system for viruses.

    Method 1: Microsoft Safety Scanner
    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again. The Microsoft Safety Scanner is not a replacement for the use of antivirus software that offers continuous protection. For a real-time protection that helps you keep your home or small office PC against viruses, spyware and other malicious software, download Microsoft Security Essentials.
