• Why the Directions leave on Watch?

  The route leaves automatically on my Apple Watch when I arrived at my destination before watch OS 3. I'm used to this behavior is often a lot of time before I use my watch again once and find that direction are still running and using power.

  In the latest version of cards, there is not apparent until you find directions between two places when or is your current position. In earlier versions, we enter in two places of departure and destination. In the new version, you enter your destination into a search window, but there is no place to enter a starting location. The application assumes that your current place of residence is always your place of departure. It is a remarkable oversight by designers. Am I missing something?

  If you go to maps, you can search for a location. Once you find the place, press the route button. It is from your current location, but if you type on my position, next: you can change the location that you want the management of.

  It seems to be something new with iOS10. They seem to have tweaked the levels of input power accepted a minimum.

  If you have your power supply a budget work around is to buy a simple home extension and use that will gain more length.

  It can help to turn off pairing your headphones for your iPhone / iPad before their pairing at your Apple Watch.

  Also, make sure you put your headphones in pairing / discovery mode, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

• Can I upgrade to iOS 10 directly from iOS 8 / 7

  I noticed that we have some users in my company, who are still on iOS 8 and same iOS 7. Their devices can be updated, but they just chose not to. I want to advise them to update, but my boss had a good question. They can upgrade DIRECTLY to iOS10? Or do I have to upgrade to major releases in between.

  When dies a Mac - if the hard disk is OK - should migrate directly or from a backup?

  The new Mac check the old file system log to make sure that everything is OK and put the data back in an audited?

  I think that if the Mac died suddenly, I don't know if that hardware problem may affect the data on the hard drive, then perhaps that supports to switch over to a backup. But then there is always the possibility that there could be a problem with the backup. (We have a backup that is no more than an hour old.)

  Since upgrading my iPhone 5s IOS 9.3.5 yesterday, I see more the camera of the iPhone as a device in Windows.  Therefore, with this update of IOS, I do find a direct way to upload my pictures on my PC.  Is there a way to download my photos on my PC without having to download them to iCloud?  My PC is Windows 7 Pro (64 bit).

  What I've always done, is to download my photos directly on my PC by using the option to remove the iPhone with the download.  I really want to continue to do so!

• My iPhone will not send photos or other documents directly from in Apps

  My iPhone 5 has always been able to send photos directly from the Photo App, as well as sending PDF files directly from the Pages App or other documents from other applications. Now, it is no more the case. After hitting the "send" - button, you hear the his "Whoosh"but nothing is actually sent! ".

  I discovered only after people complained to me for not getting points I thought that I had sent.

  When you import the same documents in Mail, there is no problem at all they are sent. The problem exists only IN applications.

  I tried to restart the phone several times as well as resetting - no change.

  It isn't a question of 2 check points.

  I think the next thing I would try is to reset all settings. Settings > general > reset > reset all settings. This will return t e the device settings, to where they were out of the box - to the factory settings. You will need to enter all the settings again including WiFi passwords.

  If this does not work, back up, restore settings, and then restore the backup. If it still does not work, restore like new.

• Wifi configuration with Airport Extreme (A1143), iMac (El Capitan) running. Need of a direction.

  I recently moved to a City University and living in a housing facility run by the University. It's got broadband by Comcast for free with the room. I plugged all the necessary equipment (modem and cable) to the iMac and the internet works well for a week now.

  Now I want Wifi for the apartment. I decided to dust off my old 1st or 2nd Gen extreme base station Airport. I read that it can still work with El Capitan, so I went and tried to install it. First of all, I updated the firmware and connected the appropriate cables. Everything seemed to go in the direction of the work, but I hit a bump on the road. Wifi works for the iMac. I unplugged the ethernet cable and it's receiving internet, but I tried to get my iPad Wifi and smart phone and it doesn't seem to work. I used the good passwords etc. Nothing.

  I found it odd that I get Wifi to my iMac, although the Airport Extreme light is orange. Normally, it should be green. Of course, I don't use this thing in forever and actually don't think it would work, but so far the iMac becomes Wifi, but aren't the other devices and auburn is turned on. So here's a screenshot of what I see in the Airport utility.

  The attached picture shows it's getting to the internet via wifi (not plugged into the modem) but he doesn't seem to get wifi on my other devices in the apartment.   The A1143 was introduced in January 2007 and arrested in March 2009, so the model you have is at least 7 years and older, and as much as 9 + depending on when the product has been implemented.

  If you want to try to start over again and set up the AirPort Extreme, the first bit of information that we need is the number of brand and model of your modem.  We don't need a serial number, only the manufacturer name and number for the modem to the model.

  It is not possible to transfer pictures directly in the TC.

  You need to connect the camera to the computer. Copy the files to the computer... Then copy the files into a directory for the TC... you don't need to use iphoto to make... you are actually better store directly on the TC raw file images, especially if your MBA is now insufficient to disk.

  Hi Bobity, assuming you want to get more of newly introduced the protection feature in private, monitoring navigation mode, there are a few options:

  • You can customize your firefox shortcut on the desktop or the taskbar to open firefox directly in private browsing mode: right-click the shortcut "mozilla firefox", go to properties, and at the end of the target line that should hold them the way to the firefox program folder add " -private"
  • You can enable protection followed not only during private browsing, but in normal windows as hollow a 'hidden' preference: enter on: config in the address bar of firefox (confirmed the message information where it appears) and search for the preference named privacy.trackingprotection.enabled. Double-click it and change its value to true.
  • You can set firefox don't remember history in the menu > options > sign confidentiality in order to always run in private browsing mode. • How can I replace the mime types of server, always get the mp3, rar, sid, bin files directly in the dialog box "where do you want to save this file?"

  I used to be able to click on MP3 files, the way back when, and Firefox asks where I wanted to save. Nowadays, it opens a new tab with a flash drive.
  By clicking on the "unknown" files, like .sid, .prg, .zip, .rar is ' this is a BIN file. [Cancel] [Save] ». It does not give me a check box for "always do this".
  I would like that option to edit so that certain types of files, such as PDF, regardless of mimetype, always get opened in a new tab if you click. Also some types of files, based on the extension, always go directly to the dialog box "Where you want to save the file?", without worrying if there is a viewer or a builtin player or not. In my Firefox (41.0.1 14.04LTS 32-bit Ubuntu) I have never the choice "do this for these files always" more.
  Googling led me to delete my file mimeTypes.rdf and since file extensions can even "well known", such as .zip, are treated as BIN files and I get the box Cancel-or-Save for those too - again without the choice of "always save the BIN files.
