  I recently bought a T430s (Type: 2352CTO) and thought I should try to update the BIOS to version 1.11 to 1.16.

  I have downloaded g1uj07uc.iso and burned the CD in the BIOS. After you restart the computer with the CD, I get an error message:

  I also tried the method of flashing the BIOS utility and got the same error.

  Anyone have this problem recently? Any suggestions?

  I also had this problem.  Nothing would delete from a year and half ago.  Once I read THIS reply from Firedog, I started looking for where the destruction of my devices have been mapped to.  Between my phone, my office and my Kindle, (date of the problem started when I bought my new phone) and delete them all three parameters have been mapped in three different places.  Once I changed that and they were all mapped to the same place, the problem has been SOLVED!  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

• Vista: The device can not start (error Code 10) for a USB CDC device which works fine in XP

  I have a USB device 2.0 DCC which works very well under all of our Windows XP machines, but not based on Vista.  The device uses the usbser.sys driver and emulation of the virtual Comm Port.

  The text of the listing shows the same information on Xp and Vista, except under vista it shows no open pipes.  Shows Device Manager: device can not start (error Code 10).

  Using Vista I can't connect to the vista of CDC through concentrators or device to any other device wireless hub except for a Dlink Wireless hub, which has a layer of software between the CDC device and the PC.  With Xp, it all works very well on more than one PC, with Vista, there are questions.  I use the INF manufacturer provided for Vista, still no results.

  Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated.

  This occurs if the filevbscript.dll runtime script is not properly registered in the system.

  Try the steps below and check if you are able to run the Microsoft fixit.

  a. click the Start button, type cmd. In the result of the research with the right button on cmd and select run as administrator.

  b. type cd %windir%\system 32 (Note: there is a space between the system and 32) and press ENTER.

  c. type regsvr32 vbscript.dll in the command prompt, and then press ENTER.

  d. type regsvr32 jscript.dll in command prompt, and then press ENTER.

  If the registration was successful, you should now see the following message is displayed:

  DllRegisterServer in vbscript.dll successful.

  e. now, try to run the Microsoft fixit.

  Thanks, but I solved the problem.   It turned to be a zip file of corrupted adobe download manager.  I had to use a zip file repair utility to repair the file, and then it worked.

  While you can assign Manager ASPX all application extensions in .net, but it really comes at a high price in server performance. Enough so you have most of the people like BC who make an error 404 for pages and then let .net run on the 404 file.

  BC only supports the page file types you can use in British Colombia and a layout 404 for this under the system messages. For files - you can not change this it's servers (.NET) messaging system.
