DirectX 11 problem: Need to your registry entries.

Hey guys,.

I made a small mistake and delete the registry for DirectX 11 for Windows 7 keys.

Can you please go to (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-> SOFTWARE-> Microsoft-> DirectX).

And tell me the names of each key and values... etc... So I can recreate mine.

Thank you very much!

It's the registry key exported, I hope that it will be suitable for you:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\DirectX]
"InstalledVersion" = hex: 00, 00, 00, 09, 00, 00, 00, 00
'Version' = '4.09.00.0904 '.

You can paste into Notepad > save it with a .reg extension > right click > select the Merge option

  • What does that mean? -This problem occurred because your graphics card does not support the required version of DirectX. This version of Windows requires a DirectX 9.0 compatible video card or newer.

I tried viewing a presentation power point and got to page 2 and my computer crashed.  Thought on... what he did previously trying to display a PPP file, but I thought that it was not my computer to the actual file.  now I have my doubts and also this time an error message came that said... This problem occurred because your graphics card does not support the required version of DirectX. This version of Windows requires a DirectX 9.0 compatible video card or newer.  can someone tell me what I should do next?

You left out which version of DirectX has been shown.

As far as I know, your Intel 945GM should support DirectX 9 and because you have XP sp3, you must have at least DirectX 9 installed.

I met the following, but it shouldn't apply to Powerpoint:

Some such as the Intel 945 GM Intel video cards have a design limitation which may cause problems when you try to run the Source Engine games. 3D graphics kernel does not support transformation of material, light and the vertex shader to similar technologies, which is an important part of the pipeline of 3D acceleration. Instead, this functionality is emulated in software that can reduce the compatibility and performance with 3D games.

I don't have a solution for you (assuming that DXDIAG, in fact, reports to have DirectX 9 or higher).  You can see if you install a new driver support, but if it were me, I would be first contact Acer technical support or ask your question in another forum as one of the following conditions:

    Intel graphics Forum: http://communities.intel.com/community/tech/graphics
Forum PowerPoint: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/powerpoint (select the corresponding forum for your version of Powerpoint).  Include the results of DxDiag, including the version of DirectX.  If there is something unusual about the image that causes the crash, include this info as well.

Normally, for notebook/laptop computer, it is better to get the drivers of the mfr of computer rather than the manufacturer of the device.

Acer drivers for your computer are here: http://support.acer.com/us/en/product/default.aspx?tab=1&modelId=535 (you want the Intel VGA for XP driver)

Intel has a newer driver: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Internet+Devices&ProductLine=Netbooks&ProductProduct=Mobile+Intel%C2%AE+945GM+Express+Chipset+Family
It's the main Intel support page: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/graphics/945gm

  • What microsoft software is locked/hidden registry entry "DbgagD" used with?

My antivirus software informed me that I have a locked/hidden registry entry, which is not common. What microsoft software is this registry entry with that dbgagd used? I use vista 32 bit. My computer works without any problem, but I'll try to find the reason to make him not: -.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\DbgagD\1

"I ask this as I was told that its an important file or an entry of key infection may not even be reviewed or edited, when I click on '1' folder in the registry I get immediately ' an error prevents this key in the opening: the system cannot find the file specified." The registry would be corrupted? I need to know what this key is for as this is the only file which is detected in avira as requiring special attention, as its hidden without a valid reason. It is perhaps more technical that most general users are used to, but I thought I'd ask about it here, if any staff of Ms actually uses this site, and is not just for users. My antivirus software and firewalls have not detected anything other suspect outside this hidden file. I can't ignore it, and I do not want to reinstall, because it can easily happen again. Kaspersky tdsskiller with its default settings does not detect anything problematic. Detection of GMER rootkit (and microsofts own F8 at startup to repair vista) both give me a blue screen, with "lack of kxdlipoc.sys" > page in the box of nonpages "' on the errorlog for Gmer. The error with microsoft vista F8 repair is too fast to read however on the blue screen, even if I set automatic restart flaws in the vista start menu. The blue screen for F8 does not show in the newspaper.

    Thanks for any help

  • List of Possible registry entries

The other day, I tried to do something that I felt should be possible, but that I couldn't easily understand.  Since I wasn't getting any type of error, I really wasn't sure what to search on.  In the end, I found that it was possible that I wanted to do and that the solution was to add a registry entry - which does not even exist in the registry by default.  I could have easily solved the problem myself if I had known that the particular registry entry was even possible.  I was wondering if there is a list somewhere of all the * possible * entries to Windows registry and various Microsoft products.

I realize that such a list would be huge.  Also, I realize that applications must have a way of adding their own registry entries and the operating system to say that means each.  So I don't think there was ever a master list.

Currently, to solve problems where there no error message, but when I want to know that if something is possible, I do a search, fiddling with my search terms of refining, possbily read through a number of lengthy discussions, which most are not the solution, just to find hidden in a thread dark that my problems will be solved if I put a certain value of register 1.  It can be a very time consuming effort.  Is there a way for me to become aware of the possible values of registry that can be set, then I could find this resource and most likely find the answer much faster.

Is there such a resource that one can use for possible registry values for search?  If this is not the case, how other people discover the registry values that are not defined by default, or may not even exist without be added manually by the user?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

    -Tom

The Windows registry is largely undocumented.  There are a few books (you know, those things you hold in your hands, but can't click on), but they are usually both incomplete and almost instantly out of date.

A search engine is really the best way to learn things.  Or ask a lot of questions in the MSDN or TechNet forums.

It is fun, a Google search for "Windows Registry Documentation" shot to the top of this site which seems to be exactly what you want - Documentation Project for the Windows registry - until you discover that despite his record on SourceForge almost exactly ten years ago, there is no file, no notice, no support, no wiki, and the 'list of skills' admin 'project' is empty.

  • Registry entry to force the installation of the updates of the player?

    Greetings!

I tried to deploy updates to the reader through our network via GPO, but it has been a real, real problem. In addition, because some client computers are connected through slow links at the time of installation is sometimes excruciatingly long (configured computer GPO).

SMS is not an option right now, so I think that rather than use GPOS to manage centrally the drive updates I lower my arms and leave the choice to the users. So my question is if there is some sort of a registry setting which will force the Player updates to install once they are downloaded from the Internet. Or, Alternatively, if it is a kind of login script available which would check if there's a player update available for installation and install it by force. Or, Alternatively, if anyone has found a better way to deal with the nightmare of the Reader GPO deployment.

    Hello

Well, as you said, GPO would have been the best option to update through a corporate network. You can view the guide at http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/837/cpsid_83709/attachments/Acrobat_Enterprise_Administration.pdf. It can give you some more tips on how to maybe change your settings in order to ensure a quick installation.

As your second question, you can use the option "Install updates automatically" for the Player update, which automatically installs updates as and when it downloads everything. The registry entry to set the same is as below:

    Before Reader 10.1:

    [HKLM] \Software\Adobe\Adobe ARM\1.0\ARM\

    Name: iCheck (DWORD)

    Value: 3

    Post Reader 10.1:

    [HKLM] \Software\Adobe\Adobe ARM\1.0\ARM\

    Name: iCheckReader (DWORD)

    Value: 3

You can set the same using a script for connection via GPO. This will ensure that all as updates and available will settle as soon as its downloaded, provided no process of the drive is running at this time here.

For more details on all the configurations on update preferences, please see the following document:

  • Lenovo U430: 'there was a problem of reset your PC"error

I'm trying to install Windows 8.1 in new U430 touch my brother. I created the recovery USB disk (formatted in FAT32). When I insert and proceed with the installation, there is only a few percent discount to zero and then says: "there was a problem of reset your PC. It does not give me information or choices other than to cancel the process.

How is - this guy did reinstall the OS after upgrade to an SSD? Everyone did encounter this problem?

When you say restore via OKR, you mean with the Virgin SSD installed, I should go to the recovery menu and update from there?

Answer: No. partitions must exist and there should be some files in the hidden OKR partitions to restore. If you need to recreate the partitions for okr work.

I don't have a way to install own OS. That is the question. I put in SSD in the other three laptops in the past and each of them allowed me to create recovery discs to reinstall a version of Windows on the new SSD factory. I find it odd that Lenovo would choose to remove this option.

Answer: The copy of the operating system factory is in a hidden partition on the hard drive. To restore or install you must run OKR via the Novo button if the BONE does not exist. Options:

1 recovery Dvd sets can be ordered from Lenovo. Just give them a call to inquire about this.

2 do the OKR USB flash drive recovery. This will recreate all partiitons including the installation of the OS program.

3 cloning the hard drive using the included DSS cloning program or by a third party program. You need to do a repair late to make the operational okr.

What is your system brand and model?

What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, MSE, Comodo, etc..

What problem are you having this thing you that System Restore will remedy - or you're just in practice?  (It should still work).

Some anti-virus / Anti-Malware tools 'protect' your system so that they will not allow a restore of the system work properly.

For example, if you use Norton/Symantec products, you will see a message like this:

Restoration incomplete. Your computer cannot be restored...

It is also a popular Symantec problem (well, I'll be polite and call an "undocumented feature"...), they wrote an article about it:

    http://Service1.Symantec.com/support/sharedtech.nsf/pfdocs/2005113009323013

Depending on what you use for malware protection, you may need to disable the product temporarily, to the restoration of the system, then
    Turn on the product.

Sometimes you need start your system in Mode safe and so that your protection programs are not running, and then do the system restore.

Tips from Microsoft in some of their articles that if the system restore does not restore your computer, start in Safe Mode, and then run the system restore.  Well, it seems to work for some configurations.

System Restore is sometimes so afflicted or Restore Points are suspicious, the best solution is to reinstall your system restore.  This will remove the old Restore Points, but sometimes it's the only way to fix a broken system restore.  You don't have to reinstall XP, only the part of system restore.

Give these ideas some consideration if they apply to you.

Sometimes malicious will afflict your system restore to prevent you to find and remove malware.  It would much rather you trick into thinking that you need to repair or reinstall your XP when it is not necessary.

No matter what you use, I do so and then only begin to solve any problems:

Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs can solve any problems:
