  Dear colleagues!

  I have a s1324-toshiba satellite t135d, with windos 7 home premiun, I install Skype 4.2 for windows but the webcam is not working.
  It shows me a message: check the installation of DirectX, I'm sure that I installed the latest version of DirectX, for example, with MSN Messenger the webcam work very well, the work of software reconicton face too.

  Start > type CMD

  Right click on CMD and select Run As Administrator

  Type sfc/scannow

  Press enter

  Note: There is a space between sfc and / scannow

  How do you try to update directx?

  This can happen due to the conlfict with display card drivers. Try to reload the display adapter drivers.

  Click Start > right click on computer > Manage > Device Manager > Expand graphic card > right click on the below option > click on uninstall > now go to your card/screen of the computer manufacturer's website, download the updated drivers and install them.

  Because directx is an integral part of the Windows operating system try to run the SFC scan and see if there is any file corruption.

  1. click on the Start button

  2. on the Start Menu, click all programs followed by accessories

  Just re-installed windows 7 because I got a new material and had some driver compatibility issues. I play a game that requires DirectX 9, so I went to http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 and downloaded, but it won't install - says I have an internal conflict. Fresh and full install of 7, my GPU is a Nvidia 770 with fully updated drivers. How can I make it work?

  I get the following error every time I try and start Asherons call on a new Dell Latitude E5510 laptop.

  • A sweet DX 9 and DXDiag and 11 installation reports no errors.

  I lowered res video and depth of color, but without result.

  Digitized internet and found others with the issue but no resolution, I could see.

  Anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

  Everytime I open Windows Media Player or watch a website with macromedia/flash points the fan on my laptop makes a constant high pitched noise. Performance is not affected. After the closure of media player or Web site open the noise stops. I ran directx diag tool, during the program execution the high-pitched noise returned, who ceases once more on closing the program.

  The noise is really irritating, especially when you try to work in a quiet room.
