• Satellite C660 now does not connect to the printer via Bluetooth

  I have a very small domestic network - 2 of the Satellite C660 using Windows 7 Home premium and a printer Photosmart more connected through BT Home Hub work all fine until a computer laptop suddenly cannot connect with the printer, well located 1 m from each other.

  Connection Internet is fine - and another laptop works perfectly. Message from the printer on statement failed, on examination, it simply records as "error."

  From this point it's hard to say what's wrong.
  In my opinion, you must reset all settings and configure the connection to the printer again.
  Reinstall the software that you have installed in the past.
  Also recommend check that the support from the manufacturer printer pages a few FAQ, HowTo, etc...

  Since your laptop can connect to the internet properly, it cannot be a laptop problem

  Looks like you did a lot of good troubleshooting already. You followed this guide, Printers HP Photosmart 6510 - printer prints blank Page or does not print black or color ink?

  I can send you the steps to perform resets itself, however, I don't think it will do everything for the same problem.

  The cartridge is either dirty, defective or the print head is clogged. This print head is not removable, customer, but if the printer is out of warranty, you can try the steps outlined in these videos.

  This video shows you how to do a manual print head cleaning. I suggest you to watch the two videos before proceeding and use at your own discretion.

• DeskJet HO 2540:2540 - abandoned by manufacturer?

  Hi I bought this printer on bottom Black Friday at Wal-Mart last year thinking I would be mobile and needed my printer. Well I need all at the time of the printer so everything is still in the box again. My ad is for this reason. My son goes to College and needs a printer. I have seen printer Hp 3636 on sale at Wal-Mart at the price of $49.99 and I know that I paid more for my 2540 while trying to decide which printer I wanted to keep to myself. I went to the site from Amazon and typed Hp 2540. Price was something like $79, but in brackets indicates "interrupted by the manufacturer printer." Hmmm, I also saw on another site that 2540 has been "replaced" by 3630. I wonder if something is wrong with the printer, I bought last November? Read 'abandoned' words do not sound good and im wondering since the printer is new, still in the box, could I trade the HP printer for replacement printer? I couldn't find more information as to why my 2540 has been abandoned. I don't know if the printer is still usable. I don't want to use it if it's going to cause problems. Uggghh. What should do? I probably should just call HP customer support number and ask these questions. ??

• Printing envelopes with laserjet MFP M175nw 100

  My laserjet MFP M175nw 100 works fine, as long as I print on standard A4 paper. But printing envelopes is another matter. The print is dirty and when I look closely, I see that repeated text on the envelope of what a few cm is smaller. Print a cleaning page does not solve the problem. The problem occurs both on the thin envelopes heavy quality.

  I understand when the printing envelopes printing looks dirty and is repeated printing of text below.

  I'll be happy to help you.

  Make sure you change the paper size of the application you are printing from and then assign the printer driver envelopes.

  In the software, select the option print.
  Select the appropriate printer name, and then click Properties or preferences.
  Select the paper/quality tab.
  Paper size, make sure it is selected on the correct size.
  Paper type, set it to envelopes.

  Then try and print again.

  I have provided this printer's specifications. HP LaserJet Pro 100 Color MFP (M175a and M175nw) product specifications. Under paper management it is the envelope formats supported.

• Color Laserjet 5550dtn: slow down communication with the configuration of the printer

  My Color Laserjet 5550dtn suddenly lost the capacity of its network - as evidenced by the disappearance of the network address in the printer display panel.   I replaced the jetdirect 615n card, and I could then access the installation of I/O again and set the address of the printer that it had before (192.168.1.106)

  The printer seems to work OK, but when I try to access the printer via my browser, using its address, screens appear, but after a very long delay - sometimes up to two or three minutes.   Similar delays occur every time I have change the Access tab.

  I put the mask 255.255.255.0, and the DNS server on 192.168.1.1 (the address of the router system) and have disabled other protocols except TCP/IP.

  I don't remember the exact settings I had before, so is there anything else I may have missed that causes this extremely slow response?

  Sorry for not answering before, but my wife is damaged the problems of column vertebral too take precedence over all the rest for a while.

  I started to have more problems, leading to no communication via the ethernet card at all and only work with USB connection.   I bit the bullet and bought another printer of opportunity - without the cartridges of ink, which works very well, and commicates quickly to local net address.

  I saved some of the components of the old machine, so the expense was not so bad really.

  The original machine was always a little suspicious, but it was also used, maybe, I had a bad Control Board.

  I have a form that is in a saved state. When it is printed bar codes are added on the pre-publication and deleted on the print job. This form "dirtys. I tried many ways to reset dirty flag so that the form is always in a backup State but nothing has worked.

  Someone already managed to do this by using "event.target.dirty" or any other way?

  I can get app.execMenuItem ("SaveAs"); at work but not app.execMenuItem ('Save');

• M601: Manufacturing of Laserjet M601 clicking noise when printing

  I have a laserjet M601, which has just started to make a rattling noise when it prints.  Looks like it is close to the top right corner before somewhere under the screen.  It snaps when a page is caught to start printing.  I hear a 3-5 clicks when the paper is caught, then it stops for the rest of the page.  If multiple pages print, click before the beginning of each page to be printed.  All other prints are normal.  The print job ends very well and all is well.  I only hear it clicking now and it seems to be deteriorating.  Thoughts?  Thank you.

  I have some further thoughts on this. Are you sure that the manual tray loading produces noise? They use different pickup assemblies. If we have confirmed both tray 2 and Tray 1 (manual feed tray) produce the same noise that we have to look at what they have in common. Toner, transfer roller, editing of the main landing gear, & fuser.

  What type of toner cartridge do you use? If possible can you exchange with others and print a test page? If the problem persists, what is the number of pages on the printer? Have you recently replaced a maintanece kit?

  I just bought a HP LaserJet P1102w (in the United States). It works well, but I wonder how long the guarantee becomes? 30 days? 90?  A year?

• dirty scan image when using the charger - m225 printer

  use of m225dw printer for 4 months now. scan of the magazine images have vertical lines all over the place in the document.  Please advise how to clean the part of the supply. I don't think I have the same problem when scanning using the glass. Please tell us how to clean the description step by step including feeder (?) for parts, etc.

  The fix is usually very simple...

  When you get the lines while using the ADF documents and not from the scanner glass, it is because there are a few pieces of paper/dust/something in the small drop of glass at the bottom of the glass.

  Lift the cover and you will see this tape from a window, just under the side where the paper feeds.  Where is the scanner parks actually 'see' the paper as it rolls.

  Carefully remove the pieces with a can of compressed air or a brush.  They line up right where the scratches are usually.

  I had this problem with my 8600 before HP and found the answer here on the Forum!

• CP1518ni: Dirty printed pages - CP1518ni

  The pages of my CP1518ni now show a gray recurrence pattern of burrs markes on the left side of the printed page. I tried the cleaning process in the menu of maintenance of the printer with no improvement.

  I think I solved the problem. The toner cartridge black "no name" was running on its Imaging drum. I removed this cartridge defective and replaced by a cartridge genuine HP and the problem has been resolved. No more smudges.

• C-8180 HP Photo Smart wet pictures blurry printing, dirty, dark.

  What can I do on the printed photos are coming to soak it with ink. Pictures are blurred, smeared and dark. Ink gets everywhere you fingers. The printer is an all-in-one Photo Smart C-8180. I have installed all new ink cartridges. I used the HP Photo paper only. The print head has been cleaned. If I have a word document to print on paper, it prints ok. The problem is that when I want to print photos. I do not often use this printer. I bought it mainly to print quality photos. It printed fine in the past, but now they are terrible, stained, blurry and dark. Anyone know what the problem might be and if it can be fixed? Appreciate all the help that can be given. Like I said I do not use the printer but especially to print photos. I certainly don't want to replace this printer for this reason. Thanks in advance for your help

  • Do you have the manual of the printer with you?

  The following factors can cause paper jams:

  1. paper loaded properly in the paper tray.

  2 rolls of paper damaged or dirty.

  3. torn, crumpled or wet paper loaded in the paper tray.

  4. the access door back or double-sided (duplexer) printing accessory cannot be closed or is not locked in place.

  5 paper was added to a stack already in the status bar.
  The status bar contained more than one type of paper.

  6. torn pieces of paper from a previous jam are stuck in the product.

  7. the status bar is too full.

  8. If printing on an envelope, the envelope edges are bent.
