Disable/Bypass the Wizard "Configuration of the Mail account.

How can I disable or bypass the "Mail account setup" Wizard and simply create a new account in the Panel 'account settings '? The "Mail account setup" Wizard doesn't let me get that far without jumping through all his useless hoops and I can't disable or circumvent.

    Watch dialog box seems to occur only if:

    • There is an e-mail account, SMTP outgoing self-signed certificate
    • The new e-mail account uses the only existing outgoing SMTP Protocol

    I have an Outlook e-mail account. As part of normal security care, I changed the password to it. I can access my Outlook (web) account using this new password.

    I have 4 accounts pop e-mail set up at Cox.net and want to use the e-mail application to send and receive.  How to do this.  It seems that I should set the port numbers, but cannot find a way to do it.

    More info on the problem.  Cox pop server doesn't require authentication and Outlook in Office 365 provides a way to tell the configuration which.  I find no way in the mail application to select 'no authentication '.   Could be the problem.

    I had this 9700 for 2 years and my configuration of e-mail account and operational full-time.  My email has been hacked and I fixed that on my desktop CPU but my 9700 will still not receive or send emails.  I did the following:

    1. Reset the battery removal
    2. Deleted service books

    Everything I could find on correcting my email on the 9700 account is that I have to reset my email from my 9700 account information.  Unfortunately, I can not access account configuration menu email form.  Help please.

    I just bought a Bold 9780 and try to set up the e-mail.

    I go through the Configuration tab e-mail accounts. I click on it - get a square of black smal who shows brefly and rest of the configuration screen.

    Trying to Exite of installation, the phone freezes. I can't move to cancel. The only way out is to remove the battery.

    My email accounts all worked very well until I installed at El Capitan. Since the upgrade yesterday, I can't access any of my email on the mail accounts. It is one of my Exchange accounts and invites me to check the password and then fails to check. I looked everywhere to try to understand why it won't work but am running out of ideas. I have another exchange account which seems to work very well. I checked all the settings and don't see anything wrong anywhere. Can someone help please I need access to this account (OH and it works fine on my iPhone)

    Delete the Exchange account, and then add it again. It is possible that you will need to do additional work to fix, but this easy option first.
