• Firefox does not save previous seession Web sites, even if the box is checked.

  I recently upgraded to Firefox 5.0. I'm having two problems since the upgrade:

  1 Firefox saves more websites that I left 0pen from a previous session even if the box is checked to do. In addition, I am never given the option to 'restore previous session' in the menu background. It is always 'ghost' out and cannot be selected in the menu.

  2. when I open Firefox, I use a shortcut or go to the Web browser in any other way, multiple instances are open automatically. I suspect that the number of instances is the number of tabs that I left open in the previous session, but I'm not sure about this. They all open to a blank page, however and do not open Web sites that have been assigned to each tab in the previous session.

  You can check if the session restore is activated [1].

  It is possible that there is a problem with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox profile folder.

  Delete the sessionstore.js file [2] and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox profile folder.

  If you see files sessionstore-# .js with a number in the left part of the name as sessionstore - 1.js then delete those as well.
  
  Delete sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and groups of tabs and all tabs open to get lost, so you will need to create them again (take note or bookmarks).

  I created an action script where I change the color of objects in a picture and then the measures were automatically save for web as a PNG-24 image. My problem is that save for the web has continuously overwrites the existing file to this location. Is in any way to prevent that from happening?

  The downloadable Image Processor Pro plugin script from Russell Browns website. Once installed, it will be found under the file menu > Automate > Image Processor Pro... will save the PNG files and many other file types the standard does not support the Image Processor. You can also save as many times as you need.

  No, it has nothing to do with updates of Adobe. There is a problem with your video card driver.

  Go directly to the Web site of the manufacturer of the GPU for updates (not Microsoft, not a System Builder).

  With the help of some of the experts in this forum, I finished to install and configure the following 3 products Hyperion 9.3.1 (in that order) on our development of Windows 2003 server.
  
  V11229 - 01.zip (Hyperion, Services shared)
  V11207 - 01.zip (Hyperion Reporting and Analysis - Services Release)
  V11223 - 01.zip (Hyperion Reporting and analysis - UI Services Release)
  
  The backend is an Oracle database 10g.
  
  I can successfully connect to
  
  (1) the Services shared @ http://localhost:58080 / interop as an admin / < by default the password >
  (2) web analytics @ http://localhost:16000/WebAnalysis/WebAnalysis.jsp with the same username/password name (that I used to connect to Shared Services)
  (3) workspace @ http://localhost:45000/workspace/index.jsp with the same username/password name (that I used to connect to Shared Services)
  
  It tells me that I probably have these properly configured componently.
  
  However, it seems that I can't do something basic in analysis Studio Web. For example, if I try to do
  File-> new-> Document Wizard, most of the menu under 'File' options is grayed out.
  
  To be precise, the following options under 'File' are grayed out.
  
  New, open, modify, close, close all, save, save as, save as HTML, properties, import, export, Email as link, print
  
  so, I could not even do file-> new.
  
  In fact, the button "Edit", "View" and "Display" menu in the menu bar items are gray as well.
  
  As you can see, I can not do much in Web analysis workshop (I am logged on as admin user, which is the only user now).
  
  Is it a permission problem? or I can't seem to install some components required?

  You need to carefully examine the results when you disable a base like the Drag and Drop feature.

  You can do in PSE.

  1. Do the math to see how much space you'll need on your canvas to the image and text.
  2. Navigate to the file queue > new.blank. Enter the width & height, background color, resolution 72 px / in. It is your canvas, and in the layers palette will be the background layer.
  3. Copy and paste the image. It turns on a separate layer
  4. Activate the tool move, position the image and resize if necessary
  5. Activate the text tool, and then type your text. It will be on a separate so layer
  6. Position the text.
  7. Flatten layers and go to file > save for web. I'm usually on the long side about 800 px. Don't forget to check "constrain proportions". Adjust the quality slider to suit. You will probably want the type of JPEG file for web work.

  Try Firefox SafeMode to see how it works there.
  
  A way of solving problems, which disables most of the modules.
  
  (If you use it, switch to the default theme).

  • You can open the Firefox 4, 5, 6, 7 SafeMode pressing the SHIFT key when you use the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
  • Or use the Help menu option, click restart with the disabled... modules while Firefox is running.

  Do not choose anything at the moment, just use 'continue in safe mode.

  To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the shortcut of Firefox (without the Shift key) to open it again.

  If it's good in Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one.

  I created a document for web analytics users can open the workspace. I am trying to assing correct users supply so that they can open the document, but I am not able to do. Users already have access to the folder where the document (they are able to open other files that are in the same folder). Statement of Directors are able to open the document. How to configure all other users of the database (not adinistrators)?

  Basic users have the following reports, assigned shared services roles: Analyst, Viewer to dynamic, Explorer, runner work, personal page editor, editor of personal settings, Viewer.

  Administrative users have the following roles for reporting: reporting and analysis administrator.

  Basic users are not supposed to be able to delete and move documents.

  The minimum base users need to open the Web analysis report seems to be "Content Manager".
