disable the A6M processor bicoeur

Hello! A laptop HP 2310er, processor A6 4400 m, it is possible to deactivate the Dual Core, as the fan when overclocking is affected?

I found a way how to disable the dual-core, it is necessary to the setting is by supply circuit, to make a "maximum processor state" 99% of its frequency and the fall then at 2400 and a laptop stops making noise. On the Internet a lot of negative revoke this model on the noise of the fan, I think that would help people!

  • Registry key to disable/uncheck 'Use the graphics processor' Photoshop (Adobe CS6)

    Hello

I'm disable/uncheck the option 'Use graphics processor' parameters of the graphics processor (Performance) for all users that connect to a computer. I tried to find the registry key that can do (to create a GPO for that) but without success. Anyone know if this is possible and what will be the registry key that I need to create/change in order to achieve this? Thank you!

Maybe the DisallowOpenGLWindows_ON_D.reg from here will work.

  • How to disable the Touchpad in processors E7450 and controller

I read through some more related posts, but I've not seen a laptop this relatively new that we have.

Previous DELL E series laptops I had, he used to have an icon to manage the properties of the touchpad. I always turn off the "tapping" the touchpad property, leaving only for scrolling. leaving the property look active moves the cursor moved accidentally when you type, causing more problems, especially when doing the programming.

However, in this new model of E7450 processor and controller, I can't find this same icon.

In any case, I set the properties for the touchpad? I don't want to totally disable the touchpad, just tapping property.

    Nice day!

  • Is it possible to disable the State of C4e processor in windows?

I use a Core i5 - 450 M CPU. There is a high pitched noise when the CPU is idle.

I searched and found that some portable computers thinkpad, they eliminated the noise by turning off 'Power state C4' in the BIOS.

But the bios of my laptop would not turn it off.

So, it is possible to disable the C4 mode in windows (or some software)?

Have you read the link posted? or the answer posted? -its a problem intel/thinkpad, nothing to do with MS or Win

  • 12 pics of the Firefox processor

Pics of the uncontrollable processor because of Firefox. I just read the pages of text (documentation), all the computer is running at 2% cpu and occasionally firefox uses 100% of CPU for 10-15 s. very unpleasant. Cooler to become noisy, I check the Task Manager to see what is happening... This takes place every 10 minutes, I'd say.

    Add - ons:
Adblock Plus, the default options, do its job.
DownloadThemAll! -default options, very rarely used.
Firebug - inactive for all sites.
Flashblock - options by default, do its job.
Session manager - unused (no AutoSave, nothing).

    Plugins:
    Adobe Acrobat.
    Java Deployment Toolkit.
    Java Platform SE.
    Shockwave Flash.
Shockwave for Director (he keeps to himself).
    Windows Media Player plugin DLL.

    All up to date.

Looks like this: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/926601?e=es & as = aaq

OK I got rid of the scary Shockwave for Director (from Control Panel > Add / Remove Programs > Shockwave > delete). I'll see now.
I've also got rid of Windows Media Player plugin, using the https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-issues-with-plugins-fix-problems?redirectlocale=en-US & redirectslug = Troubleshooting + plugins #w_manually uninstalling a plugin

He did not, once again. Now I'm worried about security, as Shockwave was apparently not sure because it was not up to date. I remember that I disabled it, but it has been activated. In addition, he did not automatically check for updates like the addons.

Here is a document on how to troubleshoot the Touchpad, if you need it.

If you proceed to the section setting of TouchPad pointing the sensitivities it should help solve the problem. Enable or disable individual gestures by clicking the check box next to each item. A check mark in the check box indicates that the gesture is turned on.

Hope this fixes the Touchpad settings.

  • Disable the CPU C4 State to correct high pitch sound

The Core 2 Duo processors are initially high pitch noise.
To solve this problem we neede to disable the C4 function in the BIOS, BUT we do not have this OPTION!
We need a new BIOS once AGAIN, for this problem!

I think that you must speak with the nearest service.
My Satellite A500 will run without this high noise pitch and after 1.30 BIOS updated fairly quiet.

  • How to disable the fan completely - Satellite A10

    Hello

I have an old laptop Toshiba A10. I use it because of the noisy fan. I would like to completely disable the or the fans. That will allow me to use the laptop on the lower CPU clock speed. I know that the fans are important for the cooling of the processor and hard drive. However, I'm not looking for advice or recommendations on how to limit or reduce the fan noise. To be clear, I want to completely disable the fans regardless of the consequences it may have for the laptop or any of its elements. Is it possible somehow to turn off the fans without opening the laptop and physically remove the fans...?

    Best for all
    Lanson

RedHawk's right. There is no way to turn it off completely. It can be risky for the hardware of the laptop.
I have old Satellite 1900 and fan is also strong enough. What you can do is to change the method of cooling in the Toshiba power settings.

Put it in silent mode. I hope this helps a little.

  • How can I disable the back to the line in a Pages document?

I want to display the document with Word Wrap.

Pages is a word processor and not an editor for programmer. You cannot disable the return to the line as this is fundamental for the processor. TextEdit or even automatically wraps the content.

  • How to disable the file hiding (changing options for hard disk does not work)

    Hi all

I hope someone can help me with the following problem:

-J' need to open a file of 16 GB of content in third party software (Stata) who reads completely in memory.

-Due to Windows caching file, necessary to get the procedure done about 32 GB cache files and Stata access physical memory.

-As I have only 24 GB of physical RAM file is read later part of virtual memory, which leads to serious performance problems.

I unchecked the box 'Enable write on the device cache' to my hard drive. That did not help. Is there a way to disable the Cache during PLAYBACK of files?

Thank you very much in advance for any help!

    Tobi

The write cache and virtual memory are different. Virtual memory is an extension of the physical memory residing on the HARD disk where Windows is installed. Normally, the virtual memory is about twice the size of the current physical memory. Write cache is an exclusive setting for external hard drives only and has no effect in internal hard drives.

In your case, please note that full 24GO of RAM will not be allocated to the program. At least 1 GB will be reserved for windows, so the rest of the programs are moved to virtual memory, which means that the HARD drive. It is not recommended to disable virtual memory because it can cause stability problems. In addition, the files are not copied directly in memory, even if they are big. Instead, the parts of the file are available and this area, including the incremental values and material, are stored in the memory. So if all of a sudden, you access an area of the file which is very far away from the previous location, it takes time as the new area, as well as differentials and material value of a few bytes is also copied to the memory. The box of files previously displayed is erased from the memory.

For performance improvements, you can go for the SSD, RAM with higher clock speed (must be compatible with the motherboard) as processor as well as the upgrade. However, please note that the process of accessing a file even as mentioned previously, but the speed will increase because of the higher bandwidth and the clock frequency.

You have two video chips in your laptop. The chip intel (energy saving) and AMD (performance) chip.  If you use Windows 7 64-bit, here are your drivers.  Install the drivers intel and amd.

  • Disabling the out-of-order laptop computer

    Hello

I had installed PS/LR on a secondary laptop.

This laptop cannot start more due to a damaged processor. I had to replace it.

I want to reinstall Photoshop on the new laptop, but I want to assure you that the previous license activation will not conflict on the new laptop.

All the procedures I found suggest that you disable the license of the program running on the old laptop, which is impossible.

How can I make sure that the old installation will not prevent me to use PS on the new laptop computer?

    Thank you in advance.

You must place the request to restore the number of activations by one.
