  I'm not aware of any option settings to remove the emergency SOS cursor in the menu that appears on pressing them and holding the button.

  My laboratory equipment is from the same manufacturer but different generations of hw. I have only an Essentials Plus license, so I can't use CVS. Now, I try to limit the CPUfeatures exposed on the most recent host to allow of vMotion. I ' v read up on this topic and follow the instructions in the KB documents.

  That's what I came up with after the start of the CPUID.iso:

  host1, older Xeon E5620 "Westmere-EP".

  host2, Xeon E5-2650 new "Sandy Bridge-EP".

  host1 ID1ECX: 0 x 82982203 = > 0000 0000 0000 0000 0010 0100 1000 0011

  host2 ID1ECX: 0 x 96982203 = > 0000 0000 0000 0000 0 10 0100 1000 00111

  So I understand that I would need to use a CPUmask "- 0 -" to disable the feature represented by bit 14 ("xTPR' - support to disable task priority messages) as you can see from the attached screenshot. But who hasn't toured. The same compatibility error message came when I tried to vMotion, virtual machine host2 to host1 with this CPUmask.

  A I mix? I'm still a little confused that the vCenter error message contains a bitmask of totally different than suggest the docs KB...

  Or did I break something else? Because the classic viclient loses communication to the ESXi host or completely blocks when I try to remove the CPUmask using the user interface! Had to modify the vmx with vi in a ssh session to remove the CPUmask manually...

  Any help greatly appreciated...

  My games on vista family Explorer premium 32-bit loads up slow. I opened it and it takes between 30 seconds and one minute before its loading in. In this time the laptop appear to hang until it loads. Anyone know why or how to fix? I think it's a problem other people had by browsing the net on the forums but not yet found solutions. Once opened upward following openings tend to react quickly to the next re-boot! Although it can recur in the same session to start if I do a few things such as playing a few games and then try and revive the Games Explorer. Does not include why it is so slow to open. It is not always like that!

  I had the same problem on another computer running vista, so it seems to be common.

  If you have not tried to perform a clean boot on your system, then do it and test game explore.  If it works normally in the boot, then there is another software that is slowly down from its commissioning.

  Steve - very good suggestion.  You have to change the registry.  If you are not running an improved version of Vista, under Start, search, type regedit, and go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\lnkfile. Click Edit, new, string value and name IsShortcut. Name should have a red ab at the front and is of type REG_SZ.

  If this is an upgrade version, it is difficult to tell the location of the folder. Click on modify, search for, and then type in NeverShowExt and this is where the entry IsShortcut must be created.

  After installation, restart and the shortcut arrows should be back and the links in the Games folder should work.

  When I click on certain links particularly in gmail, for example, if I get an email from youtube of a video being downloaded and I click on the video says, firefox opens this link in a new tab, but the problem is that it will automatically switch to this tab that I hate.
