  So I have this REALLY annoying indicator and I cannot figure out how to turn off. He appeared just today after my keyboard locked out of the blue. I have not installed new drivers in more than a week or 2. It is also on a desktop computer assembled by hand with no preinstalled software.

  

  I don't know what is. I use a Logitech G19 keyboard with 8.50 drivers LGS and I see no indicator in its parameters (point set is not installed or is - it a process).   To the left of the keyboard above the SHIFT key, press Caps Lock.  This should stop the message.

  Settings-> Touch ID & access code.  Enter your password and then disable the password feature. After that, all who have the phone in hand can just slide to open and use.

  If maisl isn't here as stated above then you must erase your SMS database.

  To clear the TEXT completely check following the steps:

  1. Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer.
  2. Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
  3. Double-click on the backup and restore, and then click Advanced.
  4. In the list of device databases, select the appropriate database.  For your problem, select SMS.
  5. Click clear.
  6. In the warning window, click OK.

  Don't forget to have if you erase your SMS as mentioned above, then all Messages will be lost and cannot be extracted unless you have a backup.

What you suggested did not work for me exactly, however, it at least tells me what to look for and I could solve the problem.  When I logged on Tmobile.com, I saw any kind of text to open a session as an ENCORE, even after the search of that text string.  Instead, in the dialogue of your Blackberry Curve box, I clicked on accessories, then in charge of the next page, I clicked in the dialog of resources on the right, select Set Up Blackberry Internet Email.  My email accounts both came with options to edit, add filters or Delete.  If I click on change, the signature box and I can change it.  There may be several ways to get to this screen, it's just the method that worked for me.  Thanks for the compliment "handle" too!
