  I have a Toshiba Satellite A100-033 running Vista Home Basic. I use especially the laptop as a desktop replacement, and I do not like use the touchpad I disabled it, and instead, I use an external mouse via a USB port.

  I don't know if I disabled the touch pad by pressing Fn + F9 or by any other means (if it was by some other means that I forgot what it was). Recently, I wanted to re-enable the touchpad so that I could use the laptop outside the home. However, I found that by pressing Fn and F9 don't re - not allow the touchpad and I now can't use the touch pad at all.

  1. update the JCE policy files to take in charge the high-strength Cipher Suites

  You can add some cipher suites of high resistance for greater assurance, but first you must update the local_policy.jar and US_export_policy.jar files to each server instance and the security strategy for JRE 7 see connection to the server. You update these policy files by downloading the files to extend JCE (Java Cryptography) unlimited strength political jurisdiction from the Oracle Java SE download site 7.

  If you include some high-strength cipher suites in the list and you do not replace the policy files, you cannot restart the VMware view Horizon connection to the Server service.

  Policy files are located in the directory C:\Program View\Server\jre\lib\security from VMware.

• A6700Y not boot BIOS, disable the back and then right

  Hi all. Having some problems with a HP A6700Y desktop computer. The computer is just outside the warranty period. The figures it's just my luck that something like this happens.  Anyway, the DVD drive went bad inside the computer. Would not read disks, therefore decided to change the drive and adding a player like 2 DVD players have always worked better for me.  Has obtained new readers, installed a drive then reconnected all Sata connectors in. Return connected to the power supply, then noticed the power led on the rear of the unit will flash green.

  Passed a few troubleshooting for power supply, try to disconnect the new drive that was installed. Still no luck. Ordered a Fatal1ty power, just in case I decided to add a few elements more I would have enough power. Got the new PSU plugged in and installed. Always have the same problems as the last power supply.  Computer starts but then shuts right back off.

  I'm now helpless as to what stage I take next. Could someone please help? Thanks in advance.

  Finally found the unit works again.  Come to find out it was a faulty DVD that I had just bought. Thanks to all those who offered a loan of the hand.
