    Yahoo Mail asking me to add an application (a Yahoo email application) for "mailto" links. I don't want to.     I don't think that there is a topic: preferably config to get rid of this notification bar, because it would break important functions.

    1. Install Stylish and restart Firefox when prompted.

    2. Open the Manager of modules (Ctrl + Shift + A), then the user Styles category.
    3. Click the write New Style top. Paste the following text in the text box, name the style, and then click the "Save" button.

    Note: If you absolutely do not want to install Stylish, you can use the file userChrome.css place. Just make sure that the first line of the style appears only once in this file.

    Edit: I filed a bug report. If anyone here has the privileges NEW mark, do it. There is already an identical to Firefox affected BONE, so I think it's quite reasonable.

    You cannot disable parental controls by using the standard user account. You should be an administrator to turn on or off the parental control.

  • Notifications from the Forum

    Hello. I have a configuration of forum on the customer's Web site and notification messages do not appear to have systematically sent to the users who "subscribe" to a topic. Is there a reference or a doc available to explain how this feature is supposed to work?

    I was expecting to generate an email notification when a new thread or topic is displayed, which would notify users who subscribe to that a new message has been posted. However, it does not work that way constantly.

    Any thoughts? (Thanks in advance)

    I got a new Apple Watch Sunday and it synced with my iPhone.

    The problem is that even after disabling notifications soft in ' my watch > Notifications > alerts iPhone mirror > slack ' I always get these notifications on the watch.

    It is very annoying because I get a lot of notifications. I tried the following:

    * Uninstall slack from the phone and reinstall

    * Re-enable and turn off again in the application of the watch on the phone

    Restart of the watch

    I don't really know what to do next unfortunately.

    Do you have an idea of what I can do wrong or if it's a bug on the side of the watch or on the side of slack?

    Hey Max!

    It seems that you have already followed the right process to disable notifications. I use the same features and the following worked for me:

    Launch the Apple Watch app from the homescreen on your iPhone.

    • Tap Notifications.
    • Tap the application that you want to change.
    • Click custom, if they are available to view all settings.
    • Adjust to your taste.

    Is it possible, in messages, the rotation of notifications for specific people or groups of discussion, without disabling notifications for all incoming messages? I sometimes have a lot of messages from my daughter and my phone buzzes away all the time which can be annoying. I don't want to disable notifications entirely or do it on the silence on the other I miss important messages form other people.

    You can enable do not disturb on an individual message, but which will shut down the entire conversation if it's a group. This is not the same as activation do not disturb for the phone, which disables all notifications. Open messages, select the message in question, in the upper right, click details and then scroll to the bottom, you should find the switch to do not disturb.

    You can't turn it off, and if you could, you would lose all your messages eventually. You can have a file corruption, and I would advise to create a new identity.

    You may have a damaged identity especially if it's the default main identity. File | Identity | Add the new identity. Create a new one and try it. If all goes well, you can import your messages and address book from the old identity and delete it.

    Note: Do not use the main word in the name of the new identity.

    With SP2, Automatic compaction in the background has been removed because of problems he has caused.     To keep things running smooth and harden faster:

    Do not archive mail in default OE folders. It will eventually become corrupt and you may lose mail. Create your own folders defined by the user for mail storage and move your mail to them. Empty the deleted items folder regularly. Keep user created folders under 300 MB, and also empty as is possible to default folders.

    We have a requirement that some notifications should be sent by electronic mail and worklist and other notifications should only be thru worklist only.
    for example,.

    Approval - Worklist only notification

    Is there are types of distinct elements of, then I would create a new mail, specifying the name of the type as the correlation ID. In this way the mailer will only send emails for this type of an element. You will need to disable the standard sender, other than by email all.

    The disadvantage of this approach is that you will need to have several shippers if you want to send different item types - there is no way to include multiple correlations in mailer configuration (e.g. you cannot run a mailer for APINV and POAPPRV tariff types).

    A trigger would always do the work - you can automatically set the status of the notification on SENT mail as soon as the notification is created. If you go this route, I would write a function which is called the trigger to determine whether notification should be sent by e-mail. In this way, as several types of items, you can easily modify the code in the function to determine whether to send the notification or not. I would even have a separate table / value that can be verified, which contains a list of the types of items and / or processes that should not be sent by e-mail and the codes to verify that:-If you add more conditions, then it is just an additional record that table / set.

    I just found out how to see the notifications, but I don't think they are convenient.

    Is it possible to receive notifications on the Destkop? It would be nice to have a counter of unread for example emails and a message counter.

    I'm glad to hear you like Firefox OS! I understand that you want to move the desktop notifications. Currently, there is no option to customize notifications.

    I don't know if there's an app on the market that do that, but you can change all notifications to not appear on the home screen of the setting menu by pressing the Notification. In order to change notifications for new e-mail, tap e-mail account on the three bars on the left menu, click on the gear and then click the name of the account. From there on, there will be an option to disable the new e-mail notifications.

  • Receive notifications by email or RSS, both broken!

    One of the reasons why I left this community last year was the break-up of the system.  I was recently invited to a new beta products desktop program and I can't seem to activate the receiving email notifications on the entire forum, yes I want this traffic.  Whenever I reboot the discussion forum the option is toggled back to not receive e-mail.  So I thought I'd try the RSS FEED, but I am asked to authenticate by my reader of flow RSS (Netnewswire for OS X) and my community connection is not accepted, so I'm stuck. Yes, I type my login correctly.

    I want to restore confidence in these forums, but I need a little help here.  If you need to use Google Reader or any other reader platform-independent, just point me that way too.
