  So I just bought "TOSHIBA L750-12Z.

  PSK30E-00H00CPL.
  all new laptop.
  It has not installed any operating system on it.
  Totally, I do not know where to start because its my first laptop.

  I want to ask you to help me and what do I do step by step now (and where applicable obtain drivers and their installation) because I want that laptop to work very well and for a long time on windows xp even as my old PC (9years)

  You should be able to change your laptop HARD drive without using an ESD wrist strap. It is worth "land" yourself in any case to make sure that you don't carry a lot of static accumulation, but a wrist strap is really required only when working close to RAM or graphics or advice chips.

  I don't know exactly where the HARD drive is on your laptop, but if there is no immediately obvious on the bottom access panel and the edges of the device, it can be accessed in the optical drive (the A30 Satellite for this), under the keyboard, or under the battery.

  Don't gorget you need to transfer the caddy Assembly to the new drive and remove/replace the drive with caution to avoid damaging the pins.

  1. I think the recovery disk creator means 2 CDs. I also have a Portege M700 with Windows Vista and a DVD. I got it and after that, I have a clean install of Vista with all the drivers and tools of Toshiba. Nothing is missing.

  2. Yes, you can reinstall Vista using recovery of HARD drive option when you press F8 at startup. You don't need the recovery DVDs, but you should create a when your HARD drive get some errors or something else. If you need a new recovery DVDs, you paid for one.

  3 HARD drive and complete partitions will be formatted, so backup your data first on a DVD disk external DRIVE, USB stick or something else.
  After the reinstallation, you have factory settings.

  4. the recovery DVDs is an image of the HARD disk on the factory settings. If you perform a recovery, there are all the drivers and tools are already installed.
