-It used to work and for some reason, now it does not work

    Greetings, d_chiuch1104,

There is one thing that I know that you need to check that COULD be your problem.  Open Control Panel (in Classic view) and click Folder Options (or, in Control Panel, click on appearance and personalization and then Folder Options).

Open the view tab and make sure that "Always show icons, never thumbnails" is NOT checked.

It would be good to hear from you as to whether that was the problem!

  • Buttons stops responding when the event takes place

I have two independent loops while in a VI. A while loop have a structure of the event. Buttons stop responding when the event takes place. Is there a solution for this problem.

If you change the event you can see the 'Lock Front panel' option, if you uncheck the box that your PC will not be locked. But the wisest method does not perform any operation within the structure of the event.

Everything else seems to work very well. Dell XPS One (all-in-One), Intel Core 2 Quad CPU, Q8200 @ 2.33 GHz, 4 GB RAM, OS, Vista 32-bit

  • The battery status icon does not display the symbol of the AC power cord when the laptop is running on the current and recharge

I have a Compaq presario with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. A few years after an update of Windows, the status of battery in the systray ICON ceased to display the amount of time left on the battery and it stopped display the symbol of the AC power cord when it was being turned off of the AC adapter.  If I remove the battery, then the cord appears.  Put it back in the slot and the rope faints and I have the same shape of rectangle get you if the computer is running on battery only.  Any ideas how I can get the cord to display when AC power feeds the laptop.

The accumulator is recharged, but there is no busy indication, apart from the height of solid white fill.

    Hi Graeme,

    Thanks again for the update.

Laptop computer should turn on without the battery when it is connected directly to the power source. As Techgod said it could be a hardware problem, it is possible that the problem is with the battery.

I suggest you to contact the manufacturer of the laptop to get help.

  • toggle is plotted on a graph when the application is running

    Hello

I'm trying to figure out how to make a graph that allows the user to select which elements are drawn when the application runs.  I want all data to appear on the same graph with the same x and axis of ordinates and maybe some checked boxes or something to allow easily what items are displayed.

    Thank you

    Gary

1... don't use two nodes in separate property for the PLOT VISIBLE and Act implementation CHART.  If you do that, you don't know who runs first, - they are independent.  Use a single property node (stretch it to include two properties).  The top property must be ACTPLOT, 2nd one, be VISIBLE TRACE.  In this way, it is guaranteed to run in the order you need.

2 you are the cluster of box check ONCE at the beginning of the program of reading and using the same value each time.  You want to read the cluster when the CHANGE occurs, EVENT that is, in the case of the EVENT.  You can read the terminal, or read the NEW VALUE property for the event, so be it is OK.  But you have to read the new value, not the old one.

3... you also read your buttons ONCE at the beginning of the program, and re - trace the same value whenever you draw. You need to know when you need to draw and THEN read them and lead the chart.

4... If you set the timeout to, say, 100 mSec, in the TIMEOUT case, read the buttons and drive the graph, then you will have a living picture that updates approximately every 100 milliseconds.  Implement #1 and #2, and you can turn on and outside plots.

I say "Roughly" because of the way the timeout works - if you wait 99 mSec and then click on a checkbox, the wins Manager check box and the timer 100mSec STARTS OVER when you get to the next iteration.

If you want the table to day exactly every 100 msec and then use time separate loop, with a WAIT TIL NEXT MSEC MULTIPLE.  Do the waiting, read buttons, drive chart and repeat.  A separate loop will not be disturbed by events in the loop of the user interface.

  • Desktop icon when the program double clicked States not recognized go to control panel of the value binding

I have a PC running windows vista. Recently, the desktop icons when double clicked do not work, a message appears telling me that the program was not found and to go to the association Control Panel to fix this value.

I'm now PC expert so would appreciate any advice in simple terms.

It happens with all the desktop icons, or only some?  If only some, what are their types of files (extensions - the identifier to three digits after the point in the name of the file)?

Do you know when this problem started?  Try a system restore to a point in time BEFORE the problem started.  Here is the procedure: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/.  Don't forget to check the box to show more than 5 days of restore points.  If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two.  NOTE: You will need to re - install any software and updates that you have installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for updates. Then see if you can open your desktop icons.

There may be something wrong with some extensions (such as .exe files and the .lnk files).  Go to http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/06/22/reset-and-fix-broken-windows-vista-file-ext-and-type-associations-include-exe-com-sys-zip-lnk-folder-drive/ and run the process for the .exe and the .lnk file types. ;  See if you can open your desktop icons.

If this does not work, your user profile may be damaged.  To fix this use http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-vista/Fix-a-corrupted-user-profile.  If that is the only available Administrator Profile (you need to be an administrator to fix this), enable the Hidden Administrator Account (HAA) using http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?&lang=en&cr=US&guid=&sloc=en-us&dg=microsoft.public.windows.vista.administration_accounts_passwords&p=1&tid=d20f9db4-7b2c-48be-a087-7835dc2a9055&mid=d20f9db4-7b2c-48be-a087-7835dc2a9055.  If you don't remember the password, try nothing because that's probably what you (or seller) did during the installation.  Once that is done, don't forget to disable the HAA to save it in case it is necessary once again and for safety reasons (since people often try to hack into systems using this account).  Do NOT use the HAA as your administrator account because if you lose the only administrator on the system account or it is damaged again, then you're watered.  Then see if you can open your desktop icons.

If you still have problems, after return and we will try other troubleshooting options.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Popup disble icon when the cut or the variation in volume via keybord on Dell Latitude E6430

    Hello

Is there a way to disable the icon that appears on the screen when I press the buttons sounds on the keyboard?

I made a snapshotcompare of the registry when I cut and it shows the path:

    HKLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\ {4D36E96C-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} \0001\Settings\filter\SpeakerHp\MasterMute: 00

But I can't find any key associated with the icon that shows when I cut. And I want just the disabled icon, not the function.

    Can I do this?

    / Alfred

I have a Latitude E5420. Mine came with "Dell System Manager' installed - it's in the start menu > all programs. If I click on it, then on 'system and Device Manager. "

Open 'Display settings', then 'Notifications' uncheck 'Volume', the display of the volume no longer appears when I press the volume buttons.

If you don't have it but you want to try, go to the E6430 download page, select Windows 7 64 bit operating system and then expand the category of Control Point. I don't think that there is a version for Windows 8.

  • ThinApped application requiring a mounted network drive and get "Unable to connect to the sharedDbLibrary" when the application is running on W7 and the drive is mounted

We have an application that needs to have a specific network drive, mounted with a the letter I:\. This support allows the application to access some of the files that must be available for the application to run.

If the I: drive is not mounted then the application will not work and you get the following message if displays the runtime "Impossible to connect to the sharedDbLibrary.".

We have the application on an XPSP3 box thinapped and everything works fine as long as the drive is mounted.

The ultimate goal is to have the application thinapp running on a workstation of W7.

We have mounted drive I:\ on a post of W7 and ran the thinapp app by making the same error message that allows us to obtain under XP as drive I:\ was not mounted "impossible to connect to the sharedDbLibrary".

We checked that the drive I:\ is accessible and we also validated that the path is good. We were able to reproduce the problem in a Windows 2008 box, as well on the other hand the thinapp works fine on a Windows 2003 operating system.

So basically with the drive I:\ mounted on XP and Windows 2003 the app big short thinapp. With the same drive I:\ mounted on W7 and W2008 application does not run and we get the same message that allows us to get on WXP and W2k3 when drive I:\ was not mounted and the app couldn't find the mapped drive.

Anyone know how to start to solve this problem?

Have you had a look at this blog post? http://blogs.VMware.com/ThinApp/2011/04/making-Windows-XP-only-apps-run-on-Windows-7.html

It might help you to add necessary dll and get the app runs on Win7.

    Thank you
    Arun

    Fixed it :)
I had to put the following parameter: IntradocServerPort = 4444

When I ran my program I saw results in my table. Also, I do not see the warning...

I used the search instead of getItems operation.
I need to set the path to "/" and recursive to true in order to see the results in my table.

When I use the getItems operation and set the path to "/" and run the file, I get a single record with the record of the contribution.

I notice in your links, you use links to set the path, so I think you want the user to go through the files and update the list when the user selects a folder, correct?

To test your connection, set the path in your links to the getItems operation to / instead to your EL expression.
If you have a result, that there is something wrong with your logic. If you do not see a result, there is something else wrong.

For example, here are my links:
