So, about a week ago I checked the nVidia website to see if there was no news available drivers for my card (XFX GeForce 9600 GSO) and there was. Installiation was simple then a restart. After reboot, I thought that I would play Call of Duty 4 and after 5-10 minutes of play my screen goes black and it appears with a small warning sign in the region of noticfication "display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and was recovered successfully."

After looking for some fix on google, I couldn't find

Still no luck. Most of the games I played this error still appeared. I tried all the drivers on the nVidia site

I installed the drivers with Windows Live OneCare disabled, disabled UAC and nothing running

    Hello Wodahsdrol,

You should try to update the drivers for your video card.

I suggest that you go to your computer manufactuers website and download the latest drivers for your video card.

See this article which will give you different options to upgrade the drivers:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/the-hunt-for-drivers-how-to-find-Windows-Vista-drivers-for-all-your-hardware

If nothing works, try to uninstall and reinstall the graphics card.

    2. expand "Graphics cards", double-click the entry to the display device.
    3. click on the "Driver" tab, click "Uninstall".
    4. click on start. In the start search box type "appwiz.cpl", and then press ENTER.

  • Display driver stopped responding and has successfully recovered

    Hello

Yes, I know, there are discussions and topics about this problem here, but I read some of them and none of them helped me to solve my problem.

    CPU: intel i5 750 2.66 GHz

    motherboard: gigabyte p55-usb3

    VGA: sapphire radeon hd5850 toxic

    RAM: geil 2 * 2 GB ddr3 1333

Ok. When I go to apply 3d in win 7 64 bit, after a few minutes, the screen freezes and the program crashes and I get this:

«"" driver AMD display driver stopped responding and has successfully recovered.»»» » »

I had this soccer10, assassins creed 2, crysis warhead, benchmark of sky, nba 2 k 10, etc.

things, I did and did not help: I reinstalled programs, reinstalled windows, all drivers updated, update the bios of the motherboard and vga, windows update, checked the hardware, cooling systems, etc...

I know it seems like a hardware problem, but since I don't get it in win XP, I think it's a windows problem. See, I played assassins creed 2 on higher graphics options (60 fps) for many hours, I have same finieshed crysis warhead with keen twice under XP. No problem.

but in win7, I always have this error even in circles low, and when the vga is 40 to 50 degrees Celsius.

  • Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has recovered successfully after sleep, and then blue screen

original title: display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has recovered successfully after sleep, then BSOD.

Well, if not some time ago, we got a Nvidia GeForce 240GT video card. We used an ATI Radion 3460 I think and it worked normally. Then when we got the nVidia card, we started to see the problems. Occasionally, he would show the blue screen of death. I tried to reproduce the error and came to an interesting conclusion. Whenever I put the computer in sleep mode turn off mode 'sleep', I wait a bit and then the login screen appears. I connect and it shows me the "display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and was recovered successfully. Then after that, if I go on YouTube and try to watch a video, the computer hangs and a BSOD would leap upward. I am angry. I used "standby mode" so and with the new map video, everything got worse. I tested this problem on Windows Vista and 7. And btw, the drivers are up-to-date, I made sure the driver nvlddmkm himself file is up-to-date, and temperatures are perfect.

update the drivers from NVIDIA. Also make sure that your power supply is powerful enough to handle the new nVIDIA card. "A programmer is just a tool that converts the caffeine in code" Deputy CLIP - http://www.winvistaside.de/

  • NVIDIA display driver stopped responding and has successfully recovered

    HP Pavilion Media Center m8330f

Is come with Vista I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

    NVidia Geforce 8500GT

Updated the driver Nvidia 301.42 from NVidia site, it was fine for about 5-6 days then yesterday the screen became all glossy and black, then comes back to the top with this message:

Display driver NVidia Windows kernel mode driver version 301.42 stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

But it is not recover for a long time.

Today, I got the dreaded blue screen.

I did a system restore and got rid of the graphics drivers from Microsoft, removed from the NVidia graphic card from Device Manager and started with just the Microsoft drivers that are version 8.17.12.9619

Having been well for an hour or two, I start to see the little sparkles (pixels) flashing on my screen.

Since I have updated my OS, HP has almost nothing to help me to update, I hope someone can help me with some suggestions.

    Thank you

    Ann

    Thanks for your reply.

I could finally find a newer driver from NVidia and did install clean without having to install the 3D part that does not have the 8500GT and it was fine, so I guess I can say that the problem is solved.

9 - went to performance of advanced system of control configuration\systeme setting option and Security\System and ive set it the best performance.
The last of them has fixed the problem where some games like World of Warcraft and League of Legends showed the depth of 16-bit instead of 32-bit color
Sorry for my bad English and thanks for reading this.

I don't know what you have installed, but HP lists only single display drivers 8.15.11.8644A out on 09/01/2009

It seems that you install either Nvidia graphics, and if you had looked at the Release notes you would see it is a driver for reference only and may differ the driver provided by the manufacturer of your laptop.

So I guess you can install other drivers via update of windows, which is a no no.
