Display settings are not together

I'm going to / the display of the control panel and set the parameters required/ie 1024/768 when I I point to my my virus program to activate "trendmicro" restore all settings? Thanks ahmida

Hello

I suggest you first activate the Trendmicro program and try to change the display.

If above does not work, you can try to activate the Trendmicro program at boot and then try to change the display.

Note: When you have finished troubleshooting, proceed as explained in the article to reset the computer to start as usual.

    Hello

    This fixit?

Have you tried to make the resolution equal to the native resolution of your screen?

Right-click on an empty part of your desktop, and then click Properties. Click on the settings tab, drag the slider to the right. This should give the native resolution of your monitor. If not you may need to get the latest drivers for the graphics card.

If that makes things too small, you can try to slide to the left to get a lower resolution but I suggest using only a resolution that maintains the same ratio as the native resolution of your screen.

  • Video error: the files needed to display video are not installed or not working not properly. Please restart Windows Media Center...

Please help - it's driving me crazy! I got this to work!

I am using Vista Ultimate and a connection (cat-5) ethernet to an xbox 360 as a Media Extender (via a Linksys router). I get the error of the video:
"The files needed to display video are not installed or not working not properly." Please restart Windows Media Center or restart the computer "."

I have a Happauge PVR 150 TV capture card installed, and you want to watch TV and my video files Via the Xbox 360. I can see the guide for lists of TV programs, but not to look at them without getting the message above.  I can also put in place a program to record, display the video thumbnail, but not play. Video files only will play are videos very select few years recorded only where there is.

My graphics card is an ATI 2900XT - 512 MB of ram, with the latest drivers.

I've seen a number of discussions on the web that describes the same (or similar) problem, but none of them seem to have no solution.

I had Norton Internet Security installed and it has since withdrawn because of the firewall. I had thought, it could be a firewall issue, but it is not. I'm now using the Windows Firewall for now.

I deleted and reinstalled the Xbox as an Extender media several times... no help. I have re-installed the complete drivers for the video capture card, it has not helped either. I checked and double-checked the settings on my router as well.

The xbox is set for the share on my multimedia computer. The correct files can also be programmed for sharing.

On the PC in Windows Media Center, I can view the TV programs, record programs etc etc etc all work.

Any help would be really appreciated!

  • Mobile data does not and the name of the Access Point settings are not available

I don't have a mobile data, not even the small up and down arrows or letters beside the sims signal bars appear.

I tried all the troubleshooting settings and different type of network, the airplane mode is off, mobile data are no limit, no power save modes are on. Phone is dual sim so I tried on the two sims and tried to disable the other sim and changing the sim slots, both sims are loaded with a credit of data that works in other android devices. WiFi works fine. Factory reset does not help.

There is that one thing that I can't not try troubleshooting. When I select settings > more > mobile networks > access point names, it says

"Access Point name settings are not available for this user.

Maybe if I could put APN I could get mobile data. How can I do or how I can try to get mobile data to work?

Phone's Xperia M4 Aqua E2363 with build 26.1.B.2.102 thanks if you can help

This text is a bit misleading, which is something that I have forwarded internally as your comments.

If you have no NPP stored the phone displays the text "the name of the Access Point settings are not available for this user" even if you use the owner account and have access to the settings.

Try to download the automatic settings from settings-> more-> Internet settings and see if that helps.

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I read your thread on your Windows 7 and display rotated 270 degrees. Here is a solution from a third party site. Turn on your computer and wait for the Windows platform to load.
Right-click on the desktop with icons part less. On the shortcut menu that appears, click on "Properties". Another pop-up window containing various tabs will appear on your screen. Select the 'Settings' tab, and then locate the button marked "Advanced." Go to "Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver" and then proceed to "graphics properties." Select 'rotation' and choose 'enable rotation '. Click on 'apply' first and then click on 'OK '.
This will bring you to the desktop. Hold down the ALT key (usually positioned to the right or to the left of the space bar and Ctrl key (found under the shift keys) and press the right arrow key.) This will flip your screen to the right by 90 degrees.
Hold the Alt key, the CTRL key, then press the down arrow key to turn the display upside down from 180 degrees.
Hold down ALT, CTRL key, and then press the left arrow key to move the screen to the left of 270 degrees.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you.

  • Video error for a single show - "video error: the files needed to display video are not installed or not working not properly.

I get a "video error: files needed to display video are not installed or not working not properly."  Please restart Media Center and / or restart the computer. »

Windows XP MCE 2005 on a PC HP Media Center m750n with 2 GB of RAM, Intel Pentium D 920 processor and more than 230 GB of free hard disk space.

The strange thing is, it only happens for a show, "Star Trek: The Next Generation" at 07:00 on channel 55 Houston.  Sometimes it is live or recorded.  Shown immediately before and immediately after about 55 works fine, as does anything on any other channel. (Although if I leave the video error for more than a few seconds, then I get an error of the tuner on the other channels until I quit Media Center and bring backup.)

Maybe my computer is a militant fan of Star Wars?

    Windows XP Media Center 2005

If this only happens in a show on a channel and passes every day but others
shows on the same channel are watchable/recordable, it is possible that a copy
never flag is set that is manifested by the video display
    error message.

I would recommend that you post this topic on the forums of http://thegreenbutton.com .

    Original title: problems with itunes

I have recently purchsed an ipod and downloaded the itunes program.  Everything seems to work fine except or the fact that I can not access the itunes store, so have created new problems.  It telling me that my network connection has timed out or my network settings are not correct.  What settings should I have on, how can I make this work?

    Hello

The reason for not being able to connect to the iTunes store may be due to the "hosts file" blocking the iTunes Store, or it can also be caused by security software, most likely, it might be Norton Firewall.
    Step 1:

Note: Please make sure that you enable the antivirus/firewall software after the test to keep your computer protected.
    Step 2:

See the link below for more details:

Unable to connect to the iTunes Store

Can run the fixit tool mentioned in the link below:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/972034/en-us you can try to disable the firewall completely or include an exception for the iTunes application in the firewall and check for the issue.

I assume you mean WTV and not the WMV files? Likely the reason is that the adapter

  • Problem with Windows Media Player: "Server execution failed" and "files needed to display video are not installed or do not work properly.

I have a problem with Windows Media Player on laptop Lenovo G780. My laptop is under warranty (bought a month ago), but technical support Lenovo told me that the Windows Media Player program is not covered by the warranty.

    And this is a problem:

When I click on Windows Media Player - to about 0.1 sec I see it opens and closes the window and nothing happens.

When I select a mp3 or wmv file and right-click with the option open with Windows Media Player - I get a message: "Server execution failed" - I checked that all services with 'Media' in the name are running.

When I select a mp3 or wmv file and right-click with the open option with Windows Media Center - Windows Media Center opens with the message: "the files needed to display video are not installed or do not work properly.

When I select a file mp3 or wmv and right-click with option open with Windows Movie Maker life - see the video

I tried to turn / WMP and WMC - did not help
Tried to run as administrator - did not help
I don't see something suspicious under events

    What can I do else?

    Thank you

    Zarek

I had the same problem and then by chance, I tried a video on YouTube and it worked for me. Here's how I went on this issue and solved my problem:

    1. go to the computer, then OS (C).
    2. you will need to open Program Files (x 86) and Program Files.
    3. go to Windows Media Player in Program Files (x 86) and open the folder.  Then, remove the wmplayer file.  You may need to work around the error TrustedInstaller.  I'll tell you that, in a moment.
    4. in Program Files, go to the same folder for Windows Media Player and select the same file again. Wmplayer.  Copy the file in another window open.  Copy ensures that if the question comes up again you can at least try to fix it again.
This should be the end of your problem.  If you need to circumvent the TrustedInstaller question is how:
    1. right click on wmplayer and select Properties > Security > advanced > owner > Edit > other users and groups.
    2. Enter your username and then click on check names.  Click OK.
    3. close the dialog boxes as he has requested.
    4. open again the properties and click Security.  Select your username from the list and click on edit.  From there, select full control.
This should give you full control over the removal of the original file for WMP and easily allow you to copy the other files (x 86) programs.
Please let me know how it goes for your problem.

  • Have W2071d monitor, display settings do not allow non-native resolution matrices

'' Recommended '' this monitor width setting is 1600 X 900, but when I go to the "Display" dialog box, the only options available to me are that were available using my old monitor.

The monitor "selected" for common use (under "Advanced"-> tab monitor in the "Display settings" dialog box) is dangerously just labeled "Default monitor", and while the system produces to the monitor, it only does these original native resolutions, so that, under factory settings, the image is stretched horizontally to a significant degree, and when I put it to adapt to the proportions rather He's a little blur hired on small fonts/texts during the largest possible display setting, almost as if I ask it to produce makes me superior to output 1-to-1 ratio of pixels and the entire surface of the monitor is not being used anyway.

In any case, the button/dialog box 'Properties' is not yet available on the tab 'monitor' breast, so I can't try to update the driver. I don't really know what to do at this point. In addition, the computer now tells me whenever I start that he detected new hardware connected, but it may not recognise, does not support installation at home, but whenever I try to point it to the drivers it tells me that the file contain no information about my hardware device.

VGASave is the 'default' for Windows XP driver if there is no other driver available for the system. It is possible that some sort of error, or maybe an automatically Windows Update installed, breaking your graphics card driver. I would certainly try reinstall the driver as a first step of troubleshooting.
