  I carried on my old number to orange and everything seems ok, but when I press the green phone button and a list of recent calls is the number displayed in the "my number" line at the top of the screen is the number I had before my number was brought to the course. I contacted Orange and they sent me a text to update my settings. This does not solve the problem. I noticed when I do that call the correct number is displayed on the right side of the screen (on appeal).

  Reboot your BB by removing the battery for 30 sec and replace. If you don't have a message hidden somewhere that this should clear the icon that you have a new message.

  Yes, it's quite simple really.

  Press the button of your BB (to the left of the trackball) and you will get the full menu. The icons in the top row are the ones you see on the home screen. This way, rolling the trackball on the icon that you want on the House and again press the BB button and click on 'move' and then just move it up to the top line. When he is in the right place, press the trackball and hey presto its going to be on the home screen when you exit the menu. Just repeat these steps until you have all the 6 icons you want on the home screen.

  I thought I would change the law and left the keys of "convenience", they where the default value set to voice activation and camera, neither of which I use on a regular basis, then goes into setting (key icon) and select keyboard/screen, scroll down and you can change them. I have mine set to 'manage connections' and 'sms and mms. This way I can have the choice of 8 functions without having to open the main menu.

  Also, if you are new to BB then a whole small trick to extend the life of your battery a bit, and then in the same menu as the convenience keys to change the "brightness" from 100 to 10, it made very little difference to the display for you but made a saving on the battery life.

  I have looked at this issue and ran into the same issue you described. I dropped the CAR 482840 for a developer study the matter further. Unfortunately, workarounds only I can think immediately would be to use a ComboBox control or to implement the functionality desired by using a native LabVIEW ListBox.

  Let us know if there is something we can do to help, or if you have other questions about how to implement one of the workarounds. You can still use this CAR number to check the status of the issue, as well.

  As mentioned, you can add outputText and you must give OutputText partialTriggers as query component your Id. Thus, when you give a search on the query component, it will refresh the outputText with the number of lines.

  New in BB, moved my SIM Nokia in the 8900.

  I have problems with names not displaying not when they call the number is entered differently (depending on whether I'm foreign or in Thailand). Some numbers are saved under the international numbers (+ 66829...) to other entries like (0869...).

  The number is certainly in my BB as + 668612345678, but if they call when I'm in Thailand the number will appear as 0861234567. To get around it, I'll have to get into contact and add an additional number for each contact has + 668612345678 and 0861234567.

  Is anyway to work around this problem?

  It all depends on how you have your game of smart dial.

  It could be one of the three solutions... Try these:

  1. make sure that you set your own country code to the Phone Dialer screen > Options > smart dialing.
  Set your country code in this format: "+ xx" where xx = country code. Some countries have two or three-digit country Codes. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
  * In the United States, the value of this country as '+ 1' Code and place your local area code in the appropriate box (this normally the default setting in a new BB).

  2. in the same place, change the length of National number for the number of digits corresponding to your country (since some countries have less than 10 as that set by default in the BB). Check out the total numbers, less country code. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
  * For example, some countries have a total number to 8 (more than 3 for the country code). You must enter '8 '.

  3. you probably have "Content Protection" located on your address book.
  Look at the Options > Security > General settings. Scroll down to the content Protection > include addresses = no
