  It is a regrettable but known problem (bug 1139167).

  There is a calculation error in the conversion of a string to a date which depends on the time zone and whether or not DST is in effect. For historical reasons, dates are stored as milliseconds since January 1, 1970, 0:00 UTC. Dates and individual hours must be translated before and return to text.

  You must press 'Advanced' in your screenshot.  As you can see, you probably have 'Automatic' turned 'On', which means that the language for numbers is the same as the main language.

  I check the system configuration required and everything seems OK.  The only thing that is not the same is the video card.  The video card in the PC, I am installing on is an Intel (R) G33/31 Express Chipset Family 286 MB and not the ATIX700 or Nvidia 6100 128 MB.  This will stop the installation of the game or is this something else.  I tried to reinstall and also installation on another PC, but it happens with the same message that makes me think this is the game.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

  I'll have a problem saving and loading the data in my VI. My software allows the user collect data from an acquisition of data which is then displayed on a graph for them to see. They can save the data, then load it back later to compare with the current data. Here is the basic methodology:

  1. the data are read in the program via a data acquisition

  2. data are saved in a file in spreadsheet to a table with the VI 'save in the spreadsheet file.

  3. the data is loaded to the program with the VI "read the spreadsheet file.

  4. the data are transferred in the same graph is was originally shown on

  However, when I save the data and reload, my chart is slightly distorted. I noticed a few things:

  1. the values of X are a little more for the loaded data vs the same data front to save/load (DECIMAL NUMBERS)

  2. the values of are are not affected. (WHOLE NUMBERS)

  3. the loaded data are more straight lines, which means that the same data point is used for row X or Y values

  attached is a screenshot of the graph - red data is from this session, Green data is loaded.

  No one noticed an interesting trend in this anomaly, or have any ideas on what I can check? My code does not change the values, but only manipulates them. Please let me know if you need more information, I've tried including as much as I could without a useless book.

  To solve this kind of problem, replace the random number generators with a simple signal that you can easily identify as a linear ramp, the number of iterations or a low frequency sine wave. By selecting a signal that is suitable for your application, you should be able to tell if the data are all be recorded and in the right order.

  The use of nodes property to move data around sounds like a disaster in the making.  Examine the queues, user events, or functional global variables.

  You should get a checklist before the flight with your print provider.  Here's what I put in Illustrator...

  

  You must also send the seller PDF print ready.  Not all the problems of file are limted to the color settings.  For example...

  When you save as > EPS, select "Include fonts" in the selection process; When Save as > press quality PDF, select "Embedded fonts" in the settings dialog boxes.

  In Preferences > appearance of black, select "Clear Black" screen and printing; in your file, the appropriate value elements black overprint in the color "Attributes" dialog box

  Whenever you are not sure what the printer talking about, ask them to explain what they mean and helps you solve the problems.  If they refuse, ask them where you can get help.  Most good shops will be willing to help you.

  This can be quite difficult because there isn't anyway that I am aware of ask BB10 directly for the offset of UTC (GMT). The basic procedure is:

  • Get the current time with QDateTime::currentDateTime()
  • Make a copy with QDateTime::toUTC()
  • Force the date in UTC format.
  • The difference between the two dates and times now corresponds to the offset from UTC.

  Something like this:

  QDateTime dt1 = QDateTime::currentDateTime();
  QDateTime dt2 = dt1.toUTC();
  dt1.setTimeSpec(Qt::UTC);
  
  int offset = dt2.secsTo(dt1);
  

  After that it works offset will contain the offset from UTC in seconds, so divide by 3600 if you want hours.

  UPDATE: For everyone it is the future that has understanding of the difficulties of reading what the hell happens in this code...

  Hi, I have a labview GUI that receives data serially through VISA and basically chops to the strings and realize games until I have values that I'm looking for. I have then convert Ascii string in decimal and feed the new values to a waveform. However, I discovered that some of the output values are incorrect. I checked this by pulling data through Realterm.

  Is it possible that I can see the modified data after each step in the user interface so that I can find where the problem is? I created indicators after each step, but they do not display data, I guess that its because the data is moving too quickly.

  I am very new to labview and struggled through every bit of this GUI, as none of you regular posters know. If you can suggest a solution, please know that I will probably ask more fundamental questions in order to implement your solution.

  I enclose my GUI with a screenshot of the same data through the Realterm. Basically any where you see xxxx TR TR or W xxxxW, know that it is the data between them is to say xxxx that corresponds to the data of interest. Everything else is ignored.

  I suspect that the problem lies in the string to decimal conversion and where 3 digit values increase to 4-digit values. That is, all values of less than 850 are correct but it is the maximum value is reached. My values are expected to reach 2500. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  You have other debugging tools available to you.  You can use the run culminating to slow down the code and show you the data flowing from each wire.

  You can create a Subvi, which takes the data of each wire and written to a log file if you can review it later.
