display tool bar is moved to the right (vertical) margin.

My tool bar display is moved to the right (vertical) margin. How can I get that back down to the left? (My system restore does not work)

Right-click on an empty spot on the taskbar and unlock it. Left click on an empty spot and drag it down. Re-lock the taskbar.

My screen has moved to the right. The scroll bar on the right side is more visible to use. What should I do?

    Hi roseann.loasby,

As the display is shifted to the right the problem is more to do with your monitor than Windows. A monitor, it of like a TV and invokes hold vertical and horizontal button options to keep the image in place.

There should be options on your monitor to make changes to the positioning vertical/hortizonal (in your horizontal case). Most monitors have an 'auto' option that automatically adjusts the diaply photo, so it is well positioned. It's nothing serious, however, you will need to check your user guide for the monitor to see what options you have to use the re - adjust the horizontal positioning. If there is a "menu" button on the front of your monitor try to press to view a display on your monitor. You can then either use the option 'auto' or else click the left/right arrows (usually on each side of the on-screen menu button) to adjust the menu and then the position.

If you are not confident to do this, you ask someone with more knowledge to do it for you. By pressing the wrong button, you can make the screen more out of alignment, so be careful, as otherwise it will be a matter of trial and error until you have reset the monitor correctly.

It is a fairly simple job to do, but because every monitor is different, it is difficult to write clear instructions because I could tell you to press a button and this button may not be here, then take a look at your user guide for the monitor first to familiarize yourself with the buttons are available.

  • Moved to the right task bar

While working on some notes during a break of calculation, I accidentally placed the key on the keyboard, which has passed the bottom task bar normal office right, up and down. that is, Start Menu and quick launch bar are upstairs on the right time and the taskbar icons while downstairs. How can I put the taskbar to its normal position, please?

I would appreciate your quick response.

    Thanking you.

    Unlock and move the taskbar

Once you unlock the taskbar, it is ready to move to any horizontal or vertical office edge.

    Taskbar

    View all

    To unlock the taskbar
    • Right click on a space empty in the taskbar. If a checkmark beside him doesn't lock the taskbar, the taskbar is locked. You can unlock it by clicking on lock the taskbar, which removes the check mark.

      Note

To lock the taskbar into place, right-click an empty space in the task bar, then click on lock the taskbar, so that the box is displayed.

Click on an empty space on the taskbar, and then hold down the mouse button, dragging the taskbar to one of the four sides of the office. Once the taskbar where you want, release the mouse button.

    See you soon.

  • Gmail button (in internet explorer) keeps having moved to the right in my taskbar when I wasn't staying on the left (that's why I first open). How can I get the taskbar buttons to stop randomly to reorganize and stay in order?

Gmail button (in internet explorer) keeps having moved to the right in my taskbar when I want to keep it on the left (that's why I first open).  How can I get the taskbar buttons to stop randomly to reorganize and stay in order?  I'm talking about the buttons on list of my open applications and documents in Windows Vista.  The bar tasks are "locked", but the button of the window open with gmail in internet explore reappears suddenly in the good moments apparently random.

It is in the middle part of the taskbar (what I found online so far is on the start menu, the quick launch area or area/system tray of notification, the location of the taskbar in full, either about grouping taskbar - I disabled because I would like to separate).  Can anyone help?  I don't understand why this is happening (or why microsoft would never do).

Lock the taskbar that it prevents to be moved elsewhere on the office and maintains the different sections where they are - it does not block the tabs showing what is open where they were when they were opened.  There is no control for this function.  Maybe if you uncheck similar taskbar buttons group it will help, but I honestly don't know (and fear he won't make any difference - it may even make things worse).  This also happens to me and I was unable to find an answer.  I think that there are more than just random, but I can't telll you why he moves the legs periodically (sometimes it works fine all day and other days it happens almost immediately).  But still, there is no control for this function, so there is no way to tell him to keep a specific order or to lock an established order, once it has been created.  I suspect that it happens because the notification area icons appear and hide and new programs open and close and which changes the amount of space available and so he rearranges things so that they match and apparently does not always consider the original sequence in which the elements have been added.  Maybe if you remove the Quick Launch toolbar and then add again, the order will reset (but that I know not - probably not in the original sequence, which I doubt is logged nowhere - it did not work when I tried it).

Unfortunately, I don't have a solution to this problem (and I spend a little time looking for even before myselff posed the question) and do not believe that there is a.  It is also unfortunate that you can't move them so they can be put back in the right order if they change.  I don't think that there is nothing wrong with your system or that it is something that can be repaired or fixed - it's just the way it is and we just have to live with it.  I don't know any 3rd party software that controls the order of tabs open in the taskbar program (but you can check out Bing, Gooogle,www.tucows.comand www.download.com to see if I'm wrong on this - here n "t all when I looked trying to solve this problem for my own system).

I'm sorry it wasn't what you wanted to hear, but it's like that.  I don't know if it's different in Windows 7.

    Good luck!

  • OfficeJet Pro 8610: Margin moved to the right during the copy of document on HP Officejet Pro 8610

When you copy a document via the ADF or the glass, the margin on the copy is moved to the right compared to the original.

I checked to make sure that my driver/firmware is updated and reinstalled just to be sure, I did a hard reset, checked to make sure there is no jammed paper, clean the rolls of paper and rolls and aligned the print head. Copy will be moved to the right approximately 3/8 "compared to the original.

The printer is around the age of 5 months and he just started this about 4-5 days ago. It was not something done that I know to start doing this. I have tried everything I have seen suggested and am late know what I can do--for any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Hey 3star8,

I would say your best bet at this point would be calling HP directly to solve this problem. It seems to me that the problem is that phone support an internal hardware problem of HP may place an order with printer replacement with you under the printer warranty. If you have problems with the replacement, let me know.

    Good luck!

    1. right click on the taskbar and uncheck "lock the taskbar".

    2. move the mouse on the border of the taskbar until the mouse turns into black arrow; then stop, left-button-down and drag the taskbar whenever you want.

    3. then, you can lock the taskbar again.

  • 2 of my pages are moved to the right (?)

I have a short document, 11 pages. Pages 6 & 7 for some obscure reason are moved to the right, and it's a waste of the header of page 6. (The header appears on the right side instead of the left side).

Here is a screenshot. I cannot explain this. We saw this happen to a few front pages?Untitled-2.png

The two pages are on the same side of the spine.  Look in the palette menu and make sure that the Pages of the Document allows to Shuffle and allow distributed to Shuffle Pages are checked. If they are disabled, checking them should solve the problem.

  • Display moved to the right

The other day when I turned on my computer the display on the screen to the right of the past about an inch.

I tried many things, reboot, reset the screen, move the screen to the left (he only moved it roughly halfway back), update drivers, drivers of removal and re - install.  The monitor is an HP W2371d.

When I change the resolution of 1920 X 1080, 1600 X 900 screen centers correctly.  It works but it's boring because the image is grainy.  Does anyone know what is the problem?

    Hello, Anthony_1993

It sounds like you are having problems with the VGA of the computer infrastructure

(card mother resident in video card), or with implementation of DDC monitor (it is noted that I sometimes saw strange problems as this caused by bad connections internal cable VGA the monitor itself, usually at the greenhouse at both ends).  If using Factory Reset does not cure it, you could try enabling / disabling DDC/CI on support & out (in the OSD menu; the icon is a rectangular box more or less with "SDC" inside, the factory default is for this parameter in order to be 'on').

  • How to get the icons appearing on the background browser in their place. Now they have moved to the right of the screen, windows vista?

I don't remember when they moved, it was at least 2 days.

I think you are talking about the task bar that appears at the bottom by default and now its projection right into your Windows.

Just right click on the taskbar and make sure that the option "Lock the taskbar" is unchecked. Now click and hold your mouse and drag the taskbar at the bottom again.
