Displayed image is larger than the screen size

Hello

The display on my laptop is out of wack. For example, I can move my cursor to the right of my screen beyond where I can see. Similarly, my bar tasks, which lies at the base of my screen don't are not in sight, however, if I move my cursor where the taskbar MUST be, I can click on windows or programs located on the task bar, then open them (although can not see the thumbs down, or so what is open). It seems that the computer thinks I have a larger screen than I do in fact.

I have reformat the computer back to its original and installed all configuration the recommended updates (including updates of drivers) provided by microsoft and still no luck.

Help!

I know that this issue has much spoken in the forums, but the answers are always to make sure that your block sizes are set to 8 MB - mine are already. Let me explain:

I have a virtual machine with a large amount of connected storage - something along the lines of discs 10 x 1.99 to. Sit all VMDK on partitions of the VMFS of 8 MB of size block, including the configuration of the VM (location of the pagefile).

Every time I try and snapshot of the virtual machine, I see the "< unspecified file name > file is larger than the maximum size supported by the data store ' < unspecified datastore >. All other virtual machines instant fine, but any other VM has a similar amount of storage as the VM problem.

I have now moved the configuration files of the virtual machine to a new partition VMFS 5 of 1.91 TB, but the instant error persists. Most of the readers is sitting on VMFS 3.33 or 3.46. It will take me a while to move all VMFS 5 to see if that solves the problem.

My VMDK and volumes are smaller than 2032GB. I don't understand why, it's be a problem.

Anyone have any ideas?

Although ESXi 5 supports larger LUN as a raw physical devices (up to 64 TB), the maximum size of a virtual disk has not yet changed.

• Image used as background is larger than the screen resolution but does not fill the screen

My laptop resolution is 1600 x 900, the image I want to put it under wall-paper is easily bigger than what is 1775 x 1235. I understood the bars on each side, if the image was smaller than the resolution of my screen but the image is much larger. Why then should I always get these black bars?

Click the downstairs desktop background link on the left

• The display is larger than the screen. Zoom-out a frew times it cut OK how should I make it smaller?

Recently, the size of the screen has gotten bigger than the screen and I have to either drag left/right to read it or (better) use the zoom to reduce to fit. How I put it so that it always fits without my nothing? It used to be like that!

It is possible that the screen is too wide or too high.

• Use Restore or expand in the context menu of the taskbar icon to set the focus to the Firefox application if you do not see the window of Firefox.
• Open the system menu of the window of Firefox via Alt + space and see if you can move and resize the window (use the arrows on the keyboard).

If it works, then first close all other open windows of Firefox and then close Firefox via "file > exit/Quit" to save the setting.

• Make the wallpaper slightly larger than the screen

Hello

I work with the simulator of the storm. I know that the screen size is fixed (obviously; "I think it's 320 x 480), but I want to make a slightly larger background image and allow scrolling horizontally and vertically.

In other words, I want to be able to make a pan larger than the image of the screen; An image that has limits.

I say, "which has limits," because I tried this, but the image is tiled, instead of being a single. A TI seems constantly to the left and down. Any help please.

USE_ALL_HEIGHT and USE_ALL_WIDTH are a problem, as I predicted. Since you give your MyScreen VERTICAL_SCROLL and HORIZONTAL_SCROLL, it gives her children a height and a width of Integer.MAX_VALUE > 1. USE_ALL_HEIGHT and USE_ALL_WIDTH do all that great width and height.

In order to make the screen exactly the size you want to substitute sublayout and take a look at net.rim.device.api.ui.Manager setVirtualExtent and setExtent methods. Some of the best examples of the override of this method are found in the code of

• < Unspecified file name > file is larger than the maximum size supported by the data store ' < indeterminate datastore >

Hello

I use vSphere4 and I'm having problems, create snapshots of virtual machines. I get the following error when I try and take a snapshot...

File & lt; filename not specified & gt; is larger that the maximum size supported by the store data "& lt; not stated the store data & gt;

If I check all disks assigned to the virtual machine, the block sizes are ok. All the disks are of block size of 1 MB and less 60GB, except one that is 600GB and a 4 MB block size. There are also free space on each data store with being less 5,30 Go which I guess should be much more than enough to create a snapshot.

In addition, whenever I try and create a snapshot, it creates a file called SERVER - Snapshot1.vmsn, 2, 3, 4 etc. on the main data store.

Is it possible that because of the single disc of 600 GB, VMware prevents me from taking a snapshot?

Here is the config...

See the attached file for disk configuration information. Operating system drive is the drive where the snapshots are created.

Basic disks refers to all disks assigned to the virtual machine. Given that, by default, the snapshot is stored the vmx file, this data store should be able to potentially create a VMDK your largest disk size, assuming that you change every block in the vmdk.

In your case, it should support a snapshot that can potentially reach 600 GB to one of your drives, and so needs a block of size on the VMFS volume to support this. You can redirect the snapshots to another logic unit number and so to work around this problem (Storage VMotion is another option) limitation.

Trust, this clears up a little.

• JFrame window grows larger than the screen

I write a simple Java program that reads HTML files and displays on JEditorPane. The JEditorPane has get that controls scrolling. The problem is when large text, the size of the window becomes large and no scroll bar is available even if the text is greater than the visible window. Sometimes, it works normally showing the content with the scroll bar to navigate. If I reduce the window and then blow it up, disappears from the bar scroll and part of the mask window down on the taskbar and screen. In this case otherwise which means once it is ok, if I minimize and optimize, there is no scroll bar, if I minimize and maximize again, then it's ok, etc.

What do you think is the cause? How can I solve this? Thanks in advance!

• VMX file larger than the maximum size supported by the data store

Hi all

I seem to be getting a strange error trying to a virtual machine that is located on a snapshot VMFS5, to the data store format.

The virtual machine (VMDK and VMX file) is installed on a thin provisioned 2 TB datastore which has the value VMFS5 formatting. It is a data store new with no other VM on it. I had problems in the past with the datastore block sizes (1 MB, 2 MB, 4 MB, 8 MB on VMFS3), however, I thought that VMFS5 got rid of the question, since it's all blocks of 1 MB and all files in the virtual computer are on the same data store.

The error I get indicates that the VMX file is too large for the data store (used Im saying "unspecified file), however, if I do the independent 2 TB disk snapshots through the fine. The virtual machine has two virtual disks, a 50 VMDK of GB and a thin 2 TB VMDK (200 GB used). I tried fast vMotioning the VMDK and VMX to other data formatted VMFS5 stores and still get the same error.

I'd appreciate any help and ideas.

Thank you

Travis

Although the block size limit is party, maximum 2 TB file size less 512octets still exists. Since a Flash disk can grow waist put in service the basic disk more overhead for the metadata, the maximum size of virtual disk - to be able to create snapshots - is 2032 GB.

• file is larger than the maximum size supported by the vmware data store: snapshot fails

Hello

I'm having a few problems when creating a snapshot either by Veeam/vSphere client... Here are the details...

VM is connected to lun 2 TB RDM in virual Server files mode. The configuration file is located on the datastore to vmfs with 750 GB (block size of 8MB)

I'm not sure whether the size of the data store creates a problem or anything else.

All advice is appreciated...

Thank you

What is the exact size of the RDM? A snapshot requires little additional space for hard metadata. Please take a look at http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1012384 (section: load calculation required by the snapshot files). For your ROW, this means, if the ROW is greater than 2032 GB, you will not be able to create a snapshot.

• Dialog box is much larger than the screen as well as the buttons are not accessible!

Hello. I ran over a display of 5040 x 1050 ground three monitors. Recently, the dialog box overview wake were opening on the 2nd and 3rd monitor. They are not mobile. This means illustrator freezes that I can't click on the Yes/No/agree or what say the buttons off the screen. I tried to resize my screen, but who did to fix things and I had to close the program using the Task Manager.

Any idea on how to solve this problem?

Concerning

Paul

Paul,

You may be able to increase the resolution of the screen (before start up of Illy) and then move the boxes as you wish.

Or you can press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift while starting to reset preferences and we hope to return floating them.

• getBytesLoaded() gets larger than the total size report

I am trying to program a preloader that uses set of byte values to measure to what extent the loading continued.
To determine the sizes of individual images, I will summarize the values in the size ratio.
My problem: when downloading (live as well as in the download w / simulated environment Flash) the getBytesLoaded() func gives me the biggest number that the size (both for _root) ratio and so throw the preloader. How can this be? What Miss me? If I trace() getBytesLoaded() when everything is loaded, the number is about 20% off (top) compared to size ratio.
Thank you very much!
Al

Export the movie with compression disabled... then you will know that the number
of bytes for each image. Then use these numbers in your script and test
Once again (like changing the script can change the numbers). Then, when all
seems to work, turn on compression and it should work perfectly (only
difference is that all of this will be faster, which is good)

• The screen resolution is larger than the actual size of the screen.

Right now my screen resolution is set at 1366 x 768, after installing graphics card AMD driver for my laptop Dell Inspiron M511R. It was normally 1280 x 768 before installation and when I put it in that everything always seems like the setting of 1366 x 768, but with black bars on the side of my screen. Is there a way to fix this? I also noticed that my taskbar and icons are smaller institutions.

the native resolution of your screen is why do you want to below 1366 x 768
