Displays bad useragent in Firefox

Hello

Firefox displays the wrong useragent. The platform Token is displayed as "Windows NT 6.0".» My OS is Windows 7. Other browsers * right self-paced. I watched: config and filtered for "general.useragent. All entries are defined by default. The problem is when I run Mode without failure of Firefox.
This bad useragent causes problems. It takes me to the wrong download pages or warns me that I'm on a wrong page. Example: this section applies to a different version of Windows than the one you are using. Content of this article is not relevant to you. Visit the Windows Vista Solution Center.
I hope that someone can know what is happening and help me. TIA

JR.

  • Google Chrome and Internet Explorer

Windows 7 should show as "Windows NT 6.1" in the user agent.

Make sure that you are not Firefox running in compatibility mode Vista (Windows NT 6.0).

You can check on the 'Compatibility' tab in the properties via the context menu of Firefox desktop shortcut.

In the EM logic web server, users can use a Web Logic EM (EM is a portal to view processes on Web Logic application) to verify the data.

  • Icons of Facebook displaying not, 10 Windows, Firefox 40

Also asked, the answers are not applicable.

Basically, running firefox 40 on Windows 10, facebook icons are not displayed. It is particularly difficult when the icons such as notification ones and even the main menu of facebook appear not, excluding the possibility of easy to disconnect etc..

As stated, this question has been asked and answered elsewhere, but the expected answers are not applicable here, that is to say I don't have images blocked for facebook (under Tools > > Page Info > > Media (tab)), and yet these icons and most, if not all the others are not displayed. Refresh the page several times can sometimes cause the icons reappear, and then they disappear again to navigation on facebook.

I found the source of my problem! I hope it can be useful to someone else reading this.

Basically, my antivirus (avast free) blocked a lot of content, but only on the protocols, https, including facebook and may other job sites. Avast's scanning https and block or otherwise interfere with Web sites, causing many problems with https.

In the end I first disabled the https on avast scanner, which is not good anyway, you don't want a middle man (in this case avast) scan https communication, because it is designed to be private... but then I noticed that the avast web protection modules caused so many other browser slowdowns and the web in general questions I uninstalled avast completely and went with another product AV.

In short, if you have problems with facebook or any other Web site, with icons and images / buttons etc showing does not, AND you use avast antivirus, then it is likely that avast causes this problem. You can either disable https scanning (in avast settings) or go with another anti-virus.

    I hope this helps.

  • How can I fix the size of display what is using Firefox?

Whenever I open Firefox now, the screen fills my entire screen, covering everything, regardless of how big it was when I finally closed it. I want it to be smaller, so I can see other things on my desk, and now I have to change the display size and Center it on my screen, everytime I open Firefox manually. How I set it so it will use the same size of the screen that it was the last time that I closed it? Thank you.

  • Some Web sites do not display the fonts in firefox.

For a while through a number of updates, I see that on some Web sites, rolling stone and cnbc are two example. If I go to the fonts in my computer and click on restore default settings for fonts, it solved that temporarily the problem. If I go to the settings and disable Web sites use their own fonts, it solves but fonts do not appear as sites intend to make them appear. This does not happen in other browsers, firefox only. I reinstalled windows fonts 7. I tried to disable hardware acceleration... Still has not solved the problem. How can I solve this problem in firefox?

Do you know if there is a model of policing does not work? If you right click on the text of the problem and choose inspect element (Q), Firefox should open the Inspector tool in the lower part of the tab. On the right side in front of the HTML source code is a box that can usually shows the style rules. Click small heading fonts to show the font used for the text of the problem.

When I visit the site, the text of the problem is in "Close Gotham" (with more than words displayed in the attached screenshots). These are downloadable fonts.

  • After the update to 34.0.5 Firefox, good number of our sensitive sites of companies we created are displayed incorrectly, that in Firefox.

Now that I have updated, or rather has been automatically updated to the new version of Firefox, many Web sites that have been good before, now appear correctly only on Firefox. I enclose a link to display the different browsers and what they currently show. I use an iMac OS X Yosemite running.

I tried a full cleaning of the Firefox and all the files, extensions and bookmarks, with a new facility. Images that I will have in the link enclosed will be the version of Firefox slate. I need to know, not only what is causing this issue, but how to solve it. Currently, I have to go into each of our sites and check to see if they are affected. If they are, then I must make a new .css file customized for this specific version of Firefox and hope that this issue is not fixed at a later date and I have to go back to each of them.

To the best of my knowledge, the new Firefox has some problem to show images to their size, they should not be, or not to read the CSS correctly. It is originally the rest of the layout of the site to be moved and messed up. I have associated images to be larger that how they display certain screen sizes so that when they are narrowing down to one layout mobile, for example, the image fills the screen. Bypassing of all different sizes of a sensitive provision separate image files, which is not practical, there's no way I can solve the problem.

For example, I use a flex of gantry container, with 3 modules together on a Joomla platform for a single site. The '%' for the 3 containers from left to right is as follows: 25%, 50%, 25%. They work fine in all other browsers and has worked well in the old version of Firefox, and now they are causing big problems. I actually had to make the total container adds up to less than 100% to show somewhat properly. Of course, there is a problem, but right now, it's the simplest solution I found trying to repair files for this new update.

Here is a link to the image I did the list of comparisons side by side of what is currently happening on our sites. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated, as other customers have called already saying that their sites are not displayed correctly. And surprise, surprise, it is only in the new version of Firefox. http://www.clearchoicestudio.com/Firefox-issues/browser-difference.jpg

I have fixed the problem. It was a necessary update of Portico to solve the problem. It took them time to get things fixed to work with the new Firefox update.

  • display in XP with Firefox problems

I just installed Firefox browser to an old XP machine. I have display problems: lines on the side and 'double vision' even on the homepage. I know that I have an old video card. That because of the lines on the side in videos before. It is a computer my husband use and love! I know it's a dinosaur. More videos in programs for children, I never had no problem display just browse the web. And I can watch YouTube videos just fine in my other browsers.

In fact, it was as simple as the Java Update.

  • When I type in my Thunderbird email all characters are displayed correctly, but in Firefox characters are displayed incorrectly.

When I type in my Thunderbird email all the characters appear correctly. When I type in a web site using Firefox or Chrome the characters are displayed incorrectly. For example: I'm going to type the same thing here. It will come out like this or a Variant: 456 7890-= qwe rtyu. If I do the same thing again it will be: [IOPS] as dia jkl;' ' \zx. What is going on? Bye the way I had to type this in Thunderbird and copy and paste into this web site. Also, if I type in MS Word or Excel, all is good. The problem is on the web sites.
    Using Win7.

This problem may be caused by the Anti-Keylogger in ZoneAlarm, so you can disable this function until ZoneAlarm has published an update.

  • Why Google Calendar displays wrong time in FireFox (but ok in other browsers)?

It worked well, but for the last two days, my Google Calendar runs an hour before what discovered in FireFox. I checked it in Chrome and IE where it is displayed correctly. Why is it not showing the correct time in FireFox?

Disregard - I deleted my cache and refreshed my browser - display correctly now.

  • At the same time, my 'display driver no longer' & Firefox crashes. Any relationship between those 2 events?

Every day or two, when I wake up my Windows laptop, 8 of the screen saver, the screen remains dark, sometimes for several minutes or more, and then he comes back and shows a message: "display driver stopped responding and has recovered. Display driver Intel graphics accelerator driver for windowos 8 (r) stopped responding and has successfully recovered. "After searching on Google, I see that I am far from alone to receive this message.

But ALSO, when the screen finally wakes up, Firefox broke down (most of the time).

So what is happening here? What's the causal problem? Or are they the two results of something else? It cannot be just a coincidence that they are together, it can?

    Hello

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

    Then perform the following steps:

    • Click on the orange top left Firefox button, then select the 'Options' button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to tools > Options.
    • In the Firefox options window, click the Advanced tab, and then select 'General '.
    • You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Clear this check box.
    • Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

In addition, please check the updates for your graphics driver by following the steps in the following knowledge base articles:

This solve your problems? Please report to us!

    Thank you.

  • Web pages and user interface display too small in Firefox 20.0.1 (but fine in IE and Chrome) - how can I fix?

On my Dell Inspiron 7720, running Windows 8 64-bit, Chrome and IE display web pages in their correct format immediately after their installation, but Firefox 20.0.1 displays too little (and the user interface of FF is too small as well).

I went on all kinds of things, it might be and know I can install an add-on to enlarge pages at least, but I really want to get FF displaying correctly of course.

I use my native resolution 1920 x 1080 - laptop and have to display Windows set up for display at 150% - % of Windows display development does not affect display FF.

Can someone tell me please how to get FF displaying correctly (without an add-on.)

    Help appreciated,
    US5

Thanks for your help cor - el.

I just installed NoSquint and it works perfectly for the web; pages. Then, I found a theme with bigger icons in "complete themes" - there are a number of them.

Guess I expected to understand why only FF was smaller, (not just solve the problem) - However, the setting is very nice-thanks!

I think that the question, pretty much sum it up. I selected the mode full screen in the 'firefox' upper-left drop-down list box, but once in full screen, the drop-down list box is unavailable. How to return to the standard display?

Press the F11 key to toggle in and out of fashion full screen.

Or, move the mouse to the top of the screen and right click on the '+' (new tab) button, or in an empty area of the tab bar, or an empty area after the address box and exit the full screen on the shortcut menu.

  • Yahoo.ca homepage does not display images, only red, Firefox 4 blocks

I had to reformat my hard drive due to a bad virus, and everything worked correctly before that. The operating system is Windows XP Pro SP3, completely up to date. I've updated to Firefox 4. My sympatico.ca home page works fine, but when I go to yahoo.ca homepage, there are red blocks instead of images. I have 4 of dumping, returned 3.6 and it worked for a few days, then returned to red images. The subsequent updates progressive to 4, have not solved the problem. I went through everything I can find, help and troubleshooting, checked the page of information, options, uninstall and re - install Firefox, with the same result. Installed the latest versions of Flash Player and Shockwave. I am at my wits end and may not know what Miss me. The same problem exists if I use Internet Explorer 8, which really, I do not use. I have not used Netscape for years.

It's totally frustrating, and I really need help wise.

Can someone please give me some answers and direction to solve this problem.

Thanks for your help and have a nice day

You have what is called PC guard installed? See http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/38/33640608-pc-guard-causing-problems-flash-yahoo.html

Also, try running Firefox in questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode. If it works properly in this configuration, then one of your modules is the culprit.
