diversion of JavaScript in Safari iPhone

iOS 9. I'm going on a popular website using Safari and after a few minutes (or less), takes a pop up on the screen and the app. I can't escape except by using the home button on the iPhone, so I can quit Safari. I know I can disable JavaScript, but the site I visit basicall does not work without him. Does anyone have a real solution?

Try going to settings > Safari > clear the history and data from the Web site.

  • bookmarks in Safari iPhone 6

Hello. I have synced my phone with iTunes and after that my favorite Safari favorites are gonzo. Someone has an idea? Thank you!

    Selly greetings,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I see that you have synced your iPhone with iTunes, and then after that your Safari bookmarks are missing. I guess it is on do not have all your Favorites after a sync. Let's get this sorted out.

Sync your iPhone with iTunes should not have an effect on your bookmarks. iTunes cannot sync some content, including bookmarks, notes or e-mail accounts. I recommend to close the Safari app and then reopen to see if bookmarks reappear. And also to give the iPhone a fresh reboot. These articles will help:

Force a nearby application on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

If you use iCloud bookmarks, use get help using bookmarks iCloud and playlist, more specifically, this section:

    iPhone, iPad, iPod touch

After each step, check to see if the problem persists.

Turn on bookmarks and update your device

    Check your Internet connection

    1. Open Safari and go to www.apple.com. If you are unable to connect to the Internet, your iCloud does not refresh playlist and Favorites in the app Safari help with your Internet connection.
    2. Open a secure Web site to your iOS device to see if you can access the ports 80 and 443. Safari requires access to port 443 to push updates between iCloud and your devices.

    Check your account details

Tap Settings > iCloud and make sure that you are logged in with the same ID Apple you use on your other supported devices.

    Restart Safari

Close and restart the Safari app on your iOS device.

    In iOS 7 or later:

    1. Double-click the Home button to see your open applications.
    2. Find the Safari preview screen and he drag up to close the application.
    3. Press the home key to return to your home screen.
    4. Wait a minute, and then reopen the Safari app.

Disable bookmarks to iCloud and turn it back on

    1. Tap Settings > iCloud.
    2. Disable Safari.
    3. You can choose to remove my [device] If your data exist on one or more of your computers. Otherwise, choose keep on my [device].
    4. Wait a few minutes and then back on Safari.

    Best regards.

  • circumvent the Javascript on Safari alert box

I visited a site that prompted a third announcer to activate an alert box Javascript asking me to perform a Flash plug-in download. I tried to close the tab without response to the alert, but the alert is persistent and allow me to select useful on Safari options until he is satisfied. It seems that the only way to avoid it is to close the browser session. But when I run Safari, once again, the alert is displayed again. Is there a way to remove this nuisance?

    1. click on the button "stay on the Page.

Safari > Preferences > Security > Web content:

    Uncheck 'enable JavaScript.

    2. click  in the menu bar and select "force quit."

In the window that opens, select "Safari" and click "leave power.

3 restart Safari by holding down the SHIFT key.

    4 safari > Preferences > Security > Web content:

Again check the box 'enable JavaScript.

    If this does not help:

    Quit Safari.

Click on an empty space on the desktop to activate the Finder.

Hold down the option key and click on the "Go" menu in the Finder menu bar.

Choose 'Library' in the menu dropdown.

    1. Home > library > app state saved > com Apple.Safari.savedState

Right-click on com Apple.Safari.savedState and choose "move to trash".

    2 home > library > Safari > LastSession.plist

Right-click on LastSession.plist and choose "move to trash".

    Launch Safari and test.

Note: A screenshot of the po - pup would have helped.

  • What meta name = "viewport" tag used for Mac/Safari iPhone?

My test URL using the generated tag page is automatically: http://02ca0d2.netsolhost.com/action_appliance_02/index.html

Suggestion received as a result of posting the question on the PVII forum and included in the response was the suggestion that the CS6 DW generates automatically better change to another, as follows:

    DW CS6 tag: < meta name = "viewport" content = "width = device-width, original scale = 1" >

The tag favorite for sensitive pages suggested alternative was:

    Suggested: alternative name meta = "viewport" content = "width = device-width '' >

Can be used somehow without conflict, or one that would be best, if indeed there is preference or wished 'good practices' across the broadest spectrum of available devices being in common use?

Again, this seems applicable to iPhones and Safari, and as I'm a Mac/Safari oriented, it opened another door in delicate design which I am absorbing; or try to understand.

I did the following search link but still cannot pronounce at this stage.

    https://developer.Apple.com/library/iOS/documentation/AppleApplications/reference/SafariWe bContent/UsingtheViewport/UsingtheViewport.html

    Thanks in advance.

Thank you, David. As I withdrew several years ago, much has changed.

Although I have a personal preference for systems/software, I am led mainly by the comfort and the fact that I kept so many software on my Mac two systems, (I have a PC workstation, I mainly use to test in real time), it would be unaffordable to also upgrade my workstation PC considering I work to keep my brain active :)

I try to remain flexible, but just need to learn. Little more difficult now older.

Thanks to all of you on these forums I find, well that oils on canvas is a bit more relaxing.

  • I don't have any Javascript code in FIREFOX (even if it is enabled in preferences) but have it in Safari. What I can do in pse?

I have Mac OS X (Version 10.6.8). I last Firefox AND have already tried to download Javascript TWICE. Why have I not
JavaScript on Safari, but not Firefox? How can I fix this pse?

A lot of JavaScript functionality was killed in Firefox 7.0.1 and this includes type it or paste javascript into the location bar (address bar). You had to jump through hoops to Firefox 6 - now there is no viable solution for a lot of what we do.

Alternatives within Firefox that could allow you to interfere with that by are quite insufficient, I would stick with what works for you, for the moment,

6 javascript in the url bar from Firefox works with a principal null for security reasons. In other words, that it is almost off. You need a bookmarklet or an add-on for a workaround. See question 871828.

Bug 656433 - do not allow javascript: data: URLS entered in the address bar to inherit from the principal of the currently loaded page

From the window of Firefox 7 moving and resizing is no longer allowed with some exceptions. See question 880032.

Bug 565541 - Web sites should not be allowed to resize the main window

The main features of the AwesomeBar of Firefox have been compromised so that the search for bookmarks in the sidebar bar, library or the location is not reliable.
You could always turn off JavaScript and had some limitations if you wait or ran into trouble before, but now Firefox works just fine and it is all the more infuriating when you find out that most of the disorders resulted from stripping the code that translates errors slowing things down and now in the blocking of the features you would expect in a browser.

  • I get messages on my IPAD, "Safari cannot download FOXFIRE.". Help!

Simple. How to download FIREFOX on my IPAD? I've already downloaded SAFARI. I get the message that I can't download FIREFOX for free using SAFARI browser. What should I do?

The mobile Firefox is only for Android 2.1 + and ARMv7 types of processors. The version of office for Mac OSX certainly will not work on the iPad, if that's what you were trying to do.

    https://wiki.Mozilla.org/mobile/platforms

    iPhone/iPad/iPod
We have no plans to release the full Firefox browser for iOS. The iOS SDK agreement requires apps to use Apple's own JavaScript engine (or none at all, like Opera Mini which downloads pre-rendered pages from Opera's servers and cannot run JavaScript code in the client). Because of this, we have no supported way to distribute Firefox's rendering and JavaScript engine to iPhone users.
However, you can download Firefox Home for iPhone, an iOS app that uses Firefox Sync to deliver Firefox bookmarks, browsing history, and tabs to your iPhone or iPod Touch.
